Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 359: I Understand
"Why are you even here when they are celebrating in the Grand Hall?" Sunny asked. He turned fully to face her, his expression unreadable. "You aren’t the type to focus on something this stressful."
"Hey! What are you implying!!" Jinx yelled, her sapphire eyes flashing as she pointed a finger accusingly at his face. "Look here! I am not that type of person!! Yes, I don’t like working, that doesn’t mean I can’t do it!"
"Yeah. Yeah. Before we start, tell me how you guys conquered both the Elves’ and Ogres’ Nations," he stated, staring straight at Jinx, wanting to understand the strategic shift that had occurred in his absence.
"Well... It’s all Ellen’s plan. Ok, I will start from the very start."

Sunny slowly nodded his head as she finished. "Truly impressive. Showing weakness to draw the prey into the trap; once caught in the trap, all hopes and plans of escaping will be useless." He acknowledged the growth of his daughter’s tactical mind, then looked up at Jinx with a sharper question: "What about Victoria?"
"She is in the dungeon below the castle. The whole family," Jinx answered, a frown of distaste marring her features. The fall of a Queen was a messy business.
"So?! Can we start now?"
Sunny chuckled softly, the sound low and melodic in the quiet arena. "Ok..."
He narrowed his eyes, activating his perception to scan Jinx’s body. He watched the flow of her energies, tracing the turbulent collision of two distinct powers. After a moment, he nodded in understanding.
"The issue you are having is your Celestial energy," he revealed.
"Huh? I don’t understand."
"You and Ellen both have Spirit and Celestial energies in you," Sunny explained, stepping closer. "In this world, those two forces often act like oil and water. Ellen somehow knew how to destroy one energy, leaving one with her... And with the way she is increasing in cultivation, it means she has destroyed her Celestial energy, leaving the stronger Spirit energy behind."
He moved his gaze around the training ground, noting the scorched marks from Jinx’s failed attempts to break through. "You can’t destroy your energy because you don’t know how... Strange how the Junior sister knew how to achieve this, but you as a senior have no clue," Sunny muttered.
"Hey... Don’t look down on me!" Jinx yelled at him, her pride stung.
"Yeah... There is only one way for you to get rid of your Celestial energy."
"Really? What way?" Jinx asked, her frustration instantly replaced by desperate excitement.
"Drain it all... You must let all your Celestial energy out so you’ll have none left! Then you can focus on your Spirit energy and break through to the God rank. If you achieve this, becoming a first-order powerhouse won’t be difficult." He crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze steady. "Not only your sister; Josephine also got rid of her Celestial energy."
"Ok, how can I drain my Celestial energy?" Jinx asked, her brow furrowed in genuine confusion.
Sunny facepalmed himself, the sound of his hand hitting his forehead echoing. "Really? You don’t even know that?" He looked up at her with a flicker of irritation.
"What? I have never run out of energy before!" Jinx defended herself hotly. "No matter how long I used my shape-shifting abilities, I have never run out of energy."
Sunny blinked, a little stunned. "You mean you haven’t run out of energy, ever?"
"Yes... That’s one of my bloodline advantages," she explained, a small, triumphant smile playing on her lips. "Just like Ellen’s replenishes energy ten times faster than normal, mine is infinite."
Sunny sighed, the weight of her untapped potential pressing on him. If she had an infinite well of the wrong energy, she was essentially clogging her own path to godhood. He turned and started walking toward the exit.
"If what you are saying is the truth, then you won’t run out of energy no matter how many clones you create."
"Hey! Where are you going?! You said you’ll help me!!" she shouted, her voice echoing off the high stone walls.
Sunny stopped and looked at her over his shoulder. The moonlight caught the edge of his silhouette. "Of course I will help you, but this isn’t the place and time for that... There is a celebration ongoing, and your mother needs you beside her when celebrating."
"Huh?" Jinx frowned at the word, her mind stalling at the mention of Josephine as her mother.
Sunny nodded, his voice softening with a rare warmth. "We discussed it... Ellen is now our daughter. You, as her sister, should also join the family." He began walking again, his footsteps resolute.
"You don’t have to call her Mom or anything... But from now onwards, you are Jinx Draco... The eldest princess of Eldoria. Get used to it."
He stepped out of the training ground, closing the heavy doors behind him with a resonant thud. Jinx stood frozen in the center of the arena, the name Jinx Draco ringing in her ears.
"What did he just say?" she asked herself in a whisper, her confusion warring with a strange, burgeoning sense of belonging.
___
[The Grand Hall.]
Inside, the air was thick with the scent of roasted meats, expensive wine, and the floral perfume of nobility. Josephine stood at the center of the room with Ellen by her side.
Josephine beamed as she chatted with her long-time friend from the Xanon nation, Sasha.
"Happy birthday, bestie!" Sasha said, her smile bright and genuine. She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial level. "I have a lot to tell you... I can’t hold myself back." Sasha glanced around at the surrounding nobles before whispering:
"My Dad is planning on merging with your nation."
The revelation hit Josephine like a physical blow. "Wait, your father... the King of the Xanon nation? He wants to merge with us? You know doing that will remove his position as a King, and he’ll likely become an official in the court, right?"
Josephine sighed, her heart heavy with the weight of her friend’s potential loss of status. "Sasha, you should stop him... He doesn’t need to merge with us. Being allies is enough, and if you need any help, you can reach out to us."
Sasha considered this, her expression thoughtful as she processed the sincerity in Josephine’s eyes. "Ok, Bestie! I will go tell him right now!" With a sudden burst of energy, she turned and ran toward her father.
"If they merge with us, we gain more," Ellen remarked quietly, her mind already calculating the trades and manpower the Xanon nation would provide. She looked up at her mother, her eyes sharp.
"Yeah, but I don’t want that..." Josephine turned back to the hall, her gaze momentarily drifting to where Sasha was talking to the Xanon King. "It is complicated."
Ellen stared at her mother, then at Sasha’s back. She saw the value of the friendship over the value of the territory. Slowly, she nodded her head, a soft smile appearing.
"I understand, Mum."
