Chapter 360: Harrison

[The Great World — God Rank Secret Realm.]

The air in the chamber didn’t just feel cold; it felt heavy, as if the oxygen itself had been frozen into jagged microscopic shards. At the far end of the hall, upon a throne of jagged, translucent ice that pulsed with a pale blue light, sat a figure of terrifying elegance.

He was a white-skinned Elf, his hair like spun silver and his eyes devoid of pupils—just two orbs of endless, frozen white. He sat with a casual, predatory grace, his fingers idly stroking the thick fur of two massive snow-white bears. The beasts’ eyes were the color of a winter sky, fixed hungrily on the three intruders.

"Hmm... What do we have here?" Harrison asked, his voice like the grinding of tectonic plates beneath a glacier. His gaze settled on Lester, who stood at the center of the hall flanked by his two Brides, Nymeria and Madeleine.

"What does an ant like you, Lester... Doing here?" The Elf tilted his head, the movement slow and serpentine.

Lester felt the weight of the Ice King’s aura pressing against his lungs. He offered a small, respectful bow. "Lord Harrison, I am here to ask for your help."

"Help? And why should I help you?" Harrison asked, a frown deepening the shadows on his face. The bears let out a low, vibrating growl that shook the frost on the floor.

"The Great Mother asked me to visit you." Lester didn’t wait for a rebuttal. He snapped his fingers, and a dark, obsidian skull token manifested in the air. It hummed as it floated across the hall, coming to rest in Harrison’s outstretched hand.

"She needs your help, and if you agree and fulfill it, she will accept one request," Lester added, his voice steady despite the oppressive cold.

Harrison caught the token, his thumb tracing the jagged eye sockets of the skull. A flicker of amusement crossed his face. "She came to me...? Does that mean that little child of hers failed?" He looked up, his white eyes piercing through Lester.

"Before you, the Child of Destruction is just a kid... Lord Harrison, will you help us?"

Harrison grew quiet, staring at the token. The silence stretched until the sound of the wind howling outside the realm seemed to fill the room.

"What help do you need?"

"Kill someone."

"Huh?" Harrison’s laughter was short and sharp, like breaking glass. He looked up at them, his expression shifting to one of boredom. "You want to kill someone? Is this person one of the three domain rulers in the Supreme world?"

"No. No. No! It’s someone from the lower world," Lester quickly stated, a small, confident smile playing on his lips.

"Lower world?! Do you take me for a fool?!!!" Harrison yelled.

The temperature in the room plummeted instantly. Shards of ice erupted from the floor and walls. In a flash of blinding frost, Harrison’s form shattered into a thousand ice crystals, only to reform instantly inches from Lester’s face. The sheer proximity of his Ice caused the three visitors to begin shivering uncontrollably, their breath hitching in their throats.

"No, that’s not it!! This person defeated the Great Mother’s fragment and even took down the Child of Destruction," Lester stammered, his body racking with tremors. Even as he shivered, beads of cold sweat rolled down his forehead.

"He is powerful, and must not be underestimated."

Harrison narrowed his eyes, his nose almost touching Lester’s. The raw power radiating from the Elf was suffocating. "He took down Lilith’s fragment and even Perran? Hmm..."

Harrison turned away, his long white coat snapping behind him as if caught in a localized blizzard. He began to pace back toward his throne. "His name?"

"His real name is Sunny, but others know him as God Wolf," Lester said, finding his voice as the immediate pressure of Harrison’s presence moved a few feet away.

"You said he is in the lower world, right?" Harrison stopped and looked over his shoulder, his gaze calculating.

"Yes. Yes."

"Ok then... Let’s test his strength first." Harrison moved a single finger in a delicate, weaving motion.

The frost covering the hall surged toward a central point. Within seconds, the ice coalesced into a towering humanoid figure. It was a masterpiece of lethal construction, translucent and hard as diamond, wielding two elongated ice swords.

’Impressive! A ninth order summon... Harrison is as scary as always,’ Lester thought, his heart hammering against his ribs.

He knew the history. Before the three current Domain Rulers, Harrison was the pinnacle. He was the former Ice King of the Supreme World—the only Ruler to have truly mastered a Law: The Law of Ice. Though he had been banished and his power stripped to make him inferior to the Mother of All Gods, his technical mastery remained unrivaled.

Harrison sat back down on his throne. "Go and bring me God Wolf’s head. Kill anything or anyone in your way."

The ice warrior gave a stiff, silent nod and dissolved into a cloud of white dust, vanishing from the realm.

’With the restrictions gone, this soldier will destroy the whole lower world,’ Madeleine thought, her eyes fixed on the empty space where the construct had stood. ’Only if Sunny stopped it... Is that even possible?’

"Lester. Lester... You must have something for me," Harrison sneered, breaking the silence. "You know coming here without any offering will surely get you killed."

"Of course, Lord Harrison... I will always visit you with gifts." Lester gestured to his Brides.

Nymeria and Madeleine stepped forward, their voices rising in a rhythmic, guttural chant in an ancient, forgotten tongue. Space itself seemed to ripple. Twenty women—the finest specimens of the Human, Elven, Phoenix, and Dragon races—appeared in the center of the hall. They stood naked, their eyes glazed over, their wills suppressed.

"Lord Harrison, what about these gifts?" Lester asked with a flattering, oily smile.

Harrison scanned the line of women, his eyes lingering on their trembling forms. "You truly know how to please me... So good."

He reached out a hand, and a woman of the Dragon race was lifted into the air by an unseen force, floating toward the throne until she was within his reach.

Harrison cupped her cheeks, his touch freezing her skin, and kissed her lips.

"...?!"

Lester and his Brides watched, their brows furrowing in a mix of disgust and awe. As the kiss continued, the woman’s vibrant skin began to grey. Her life force was being sucked directly into Harrison’s maw. In seconds, her flesh withered, leaving nothing but a brittle skeleton.

Harrison pulled away, his eyes glowing with renewed vigor, and tossed the bones to his bears. The beasts descended upon the remains, the sound of snapping bone filling the chamber. The remaining women didn’t flinch; their minds were already gone.

"You can go now... Expect good luck. And if by chance he kills my Warrior, I will wait for him in the Upper World." Harrison licked his lips, the frost on them turning to steam. "The Lower World will only stain my eyes."

Lester nodded, taking several cautious steps back.

"Oh Lester... Maybe one day, you will give me one of your wives for a night. Don’t worry, I won’t kill them... I will just have fun," Harrison said, his sneer widening into a malicious grin.

"Oh Lord Harrison. Don’t joke around... You have more than any of us, you won’t mind my wives." Lester looked back one last time. "Not when you have ten gorgeous ones."

"Hahaha! Yeah! I do... You can go now!" Harrison waved a hand dismissively, and the three of them vanished in a swirl of shadows.

Left alone with his "gifts" and his beasts, Harrison leaned back, his mind wandering to the target. "God Wolf... I am curious about you."
