Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 381: I Am Free!!!
[Supreme World]
[First Domain]
The golden rain shimmered against the white marble of the castle, casting an ethereal glow on the faces of the three most powerful women in the Supreme World.
"A new god?" Lilith turned to Victoria in surprise, her eyes narrowing as she tried to sense the source of this divine phenomenon.
"This only means one thing." Victoria muttered, her eyes wide in disbelief. She reached out, letting a drop of the golden liquid land on her palm, where it didn’t splash but absorbed into her skin, humming with pure energy.
"The first blood rain, it doesn’t represent the death of a god, rather... It represents the transfer. In a simpler way, the god who we thought died gave his powers to his successor... This person succeeded absorbing the strength of a god and become the new god." She explained, her voice hushed with reverence.
"Wow! This person must be way out of our league." Aurelia said in fascination, staring at the rain that painted the world in riches. "To inherit a True God’s mantle..."
"True... Such a person will not only gain the God’s laws, but they will also gain all his wisdom, knowledge, powers, Bloodlines and even skills which are all far beyond our level, it’ll like they will be reborn into their greatest self."
Victoria exhaled, feeling a mix of relief and trepidation. A new player had entered the cosmic board, one who instantly outranked them all.
"Well, at least, we don’t know such a person, and mostly not their enemy." Lilith muttered with a small sigh, crossing her arms.
The irony was palpable to the universe, though invisible to her. She was completely unaware that the person they were talking about was the same Sunny she badly wants dead.
She turned to Victoria, her mind catching onto a detail. "Wait, you said laws! I thought a person can only have one law! Even a god!" Lilith asked in surprise. In their world, mastering a single Law was the peak of cultivation.
"As I said before, they are different types of gods... The normal ones and the rulers of realms," Victoria corrected, her gaze distant. "The normal gods are just like heavens, but they’re stronger. When it comes to realm rulers... These gods can’t be calculated by powers or skills. They are monsters."
She sighed softly, the weight of ancient history pressing down on her.
"Each one of them have a total of five laws, except one." She raised one finger, the gesture commanding absolute attention from the two ladies staring at her intently.
"The strongest of all, who have a total of six laws, and these six are the most strongest of all... With the ancient texts, these laws are: Death, Life, Shadows, Nothingness, Darkness, and Reality... He has the powers to bend a realm as he sees fit. Compare to the God of death, known as Ezekiel... All gods are nothing."
The two ladies beside her swallowed hard. Such a god wasn’t just a warrior; they were a fundamental force of existence. Not to mention Reality, only the dual laws of Life and Death were already too strong for any mortal mind to comprehend.
"Just thinking, I know it’s stupid, but what if he is the one who just died?" Aurelia asked, voicing the fear they were all skirting around.
Victoria scoffed, shaking her head dismissively. "Lord Ezekiel is a god who has life and death dancing at his will... He can’t just die. It must be someone else." She said with absolute conviction.
The two nodded, comforted by her certainty.
"Yeah, you are right..." Aurelia nodded her head, watching as the golden rain slowed down and vanished instantly, leaving the air humming with residual power.
"The new god has awoken." She said.
___
[Unknown Realm]
The battlefield was a chaotic blur of elements.
"Are these things getting stronger!!!" Rebecca asked, gritting her teeth as she leaped back from a massive spider with three heads, its carapace deflecting her kinetic force.
WHOOSH!
BANG!!
Sadie’s blue energy sword collided on a spider. The sound of sword hitting metal rang out into the air, a harsh dissonance, as the blade failed to cut deep and flew back towards him.
"True... These things are all above the tenth order... They already stepped into the transcendent class! Both of you, step back!" Jenner yelled, her eyes crackling with electricity.
The Transcendent Class—monsters that had evolved beyond the biological limits of the tenth order, capable of withstanding attacks that would level cities.
Rebecca and Sadie nodded, realizing physical force and standard swordplay weren’t enough. They leaped backward, landing behind Jenner in a defensive formation.
"Although they are transcendent, Compare to us heavens! They are still far below!"
Jenner raised her lightning sword into the air. The atmosphere screamed as she channeled her divinity. Instantly, bolts of purple lightning, stronger and more destructive than the silver ones, dropped from the sky, smashing into the creatures.
SCREECH!!!!
They let out painful shrieks, their armor cracking under the celestial voltage. They scattered in all directions, trying their best to evade the lightning attacks, their unified front broken.
"Thinking of running?!! Come on, let show them why we’re the three great protectors!" Jenner smirked, her hair floating in the static charge.
"Right!!"
Rebecca grinned. She got down on one knee, channeling every ounce of her primordial energy into her fist, then smashed it on the ground.
"Force barrier!!!"
BOOOOOOM!!
The ground erupted. A white energy Field burst out from the ground, expanding outward and then curving up, instantly surrounding all the creatures, locking them all in a glowing, inescapable circle.
"My turn."
Sadie’s eyes glowed brightly, a cold blue light that promised death. He placed his palms together in a prayer motion.
"Souls swords!"
WHOOSH!!
Millions of spectral blue swords appeared on the inner wall of the energy field. The tips of the blades aimed at the creatures charging towards the shield, planning on destroying it with their body.
"Fools. The souls swords pass through all defense and attack the souls. These swords are slow, so I couldn’t use them in battle, but once in this formation, you will be running towards your doom." He said with a calm, deadly smile.
The spiders slammed into the barrier, and the swords pierced them effortlessly, severing their spirit from their bodies. But the physical shells remained.
"Now! It’s my turn!"
Jenner floated upward, her eyes glowing white, erasing her pupils. She pointed her blade down into the center of the trap.
"Lightning of absolute death!!!"
BOOOOOOM!!!
A huge red lightning bolt, as thick as the circle sealing the monsters, shot down from the sky. It wasn’t just electricity; it was judgment. In one single Annihilation, it smashed into all the monsters trapped inside.
SCREECH!!!!!!
Countless agonizing shrieks broke through the sky, quickly silenced as the creatures were roasted into ashes by the lightning. The smell of ozone and burnt flesh filled the air.
"Good. That took care of them." Jenner said, lowering her hand, her chest heaving slightly from the exertion.
DROP!
"Huh?"
"....?!"
The three protectors paused. The red rain had stopped.
They raised their heads to the sky, staring at the golden rain that now fell gently upon them. In unison, they all turned their heads to the boulder in the center of the field.
They looked at Sunny. A golden aura was emanating from him, pulsing like a heartbeat. His eyes were still closed, but his Aura was completely different—it was ancient, heavy, and sovereign.
"Haha! Just some minutes left!" Sadie laughed out loud, feeling the success of their mission.
BAM!!!
The ground beneath them shuddered violently, knocking Sadie off balance.
"FINALLY!! I AM FREE!! THAT EZEKIEL MUST BE DEAD!!"
The voice was guttural, sounding like rocks grinding together in a deep cavern.
The three froze. Slowly, terrified by the sheer pressure suddenly crushing the air, they turned their heads around.
They watched as the ground cracked open, a fissure tearing the battlefield apart. From the depths of the earth, a nightmare emerged.
A spider with twenty legs and five heads burst out from the ground. It towered over them, blocking out the sky. Its multiple eyes, glowing with malice and ancient hunger, fixed on them. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"A True God class?"
The three were stunned in place. This wasn’t a monster they could fight. This was a calamity.
