Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 393: Decide!!
"That Aura?" Lester’s eyes went wide in shock. It wasn’t just power; it was a weight that pressed against the very concept of his existence. He felt the cold hand of extinction hovering over his faction. He quickly sent a telepathic message to all his pillars and monsters stationed outside.
"Stop him!!!" He yelled, his voice cracking with desperation.
"Stop him?" The Heaven of Space chuckled, a dry, humorless sound. He waved his hand, and the air shimmered. A holographic screen appeared before them, projecting the chaos unfolding outside the castle walls.
Violet, still recovering from the blow she took earlier, crawled to the huge oak doors. She rested her back on the lip of the frame and sat on the ground, staring at the screen with wide, fearful eyes.
Everyone watched as the ground around Lester’s domain erupted. Tens of thousands of figures shot out from the earth—monstrosities of flesh and magic, an army bred for conquest. Leading them were ten imposing figures, the Pillars of Lester’s faction, each having the strength of a Sixth Order powerhouse—beings that could level cities individually.
"Pathetic."
The single word echoed through the magical surveillance feed, spoken with bored disdain.
Sunny hovered in the sky, a speck of white against the gloom. He simply waved his hand.
Instantly, the laws of physics collapsed. All the thousands of figures, including the mighty pillars, didn’t just die; they unraveled. Their bodies imploded under infinite pressure, instantly shattering into blood.
SLASH!!!
The holographic screen shattered instantly as the feedback from the destruction overloaded the spell.
Everyone felt a chill down their spines. It wasn’t the silence that terrified them; it was the noise that followed. They heard the blood slashing on the ground outside and against the castle walls like a huge dam that just broke—a literal tsunami of gore washing over the fortress.
"Seems all your soldiers got wiped out instantly, this is your last chance." The Heaven of Space said in a serious tone. He turned towards the red gateway that pulsed with energy, ready to leave with his companions.
’God wolf, I can’t catch up to you... Maybe with their help, I can.’ Lester thought. The gap was too wide. He looked at the carnage outside, then at the open gate. He nodded his head, his pride swallowing the bitter pill of subservience.
"Lead the way." He said.
"Good!" Heaven of Space smiled, the predator having caught its prey, and gestured to the gateway behind them.
"Let’s go." He said.
Lester nodded and started walking towards the gateway, his heart hammering against his ribs. His brides—Madeleine, Matilda, and Nymeria—followed closely behind him, along with Madeleine’s subordinate, Mitsubishi. The Heaven of Water nodded silently and entered first, his form dissolving into the red light.
BAM!!!
The castle shook violently.
"....?!!"
Everyone turned their heads to the roof, watching as the reinforced stone started cracking like an eggshell. The sky was falling.
"Move!!"
Okinawa snapped his fingers. A wave of telekinetic force grabbed Madeleine, Matilda, Lester, Mitsubishi, and Nymeria, bundling them together and forcing them towards the gateway with desperate speed.
"Stop right there!"
Sunny’s voice sounded all over the place. It wasn’t a shout; it was a decree.
An unknown force, far superior to Okinawa’s telekinesis, grabbed Nymeria. It wrapped around Josephine’s mother like an invisible claw, pulling her back from the group just inches from the portal.
"Husband!!!" Nymeria yelled in shock, her hand reaching out.
"No!!" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Lester spun around, his eyes locking onto her. Before he could move to save her, Okinawa stopped him, shoving him backward, and the force pulled him into the gateway.
"She is not yours."
BOOOOM!!!
The whole roof shattered instantly, dust and debris raining down. Sunny hovered in the air above the exposed throne room with his arms behind him, his white coat pristine amidst the destruction. His gaze was fixed on the fleeing group.
Lester saw his golden eyes one last time—eyes that held judgment and infinite power—before being sucked inside the gateway, followed by Madeleine, Matilda, and Mitsubishi.
The portal began to close, but the Heaven of Space lingered for a microsecond. He stared at Sunny with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
"Realm Ruler... We will meet after the preparation is done." He said. He took a step backward, disappearing inside the gateway. Even he knew that fighting Sunny here, now, was a death wish. No Heaven in their right mind will dare attack a Realm Ruler directly.
The gateway vanished, leaving only silence and dust.
"So you’re the new Realm Ruler. Not bad." Okinawa muttered. He was the only one left, standing near the space where the portal had been. He turned his head to Violet, who was still slumped by the door.
"I don’t leave any job unfinished."
He flicked his finger towards her. Compressed air gathered at his fingertip, and an air blade formed and shot forward, the tip aiming at her neck to decapitate her instantly.
BAM!
The blade froze in the air mere inches from Violet’s throat, and shattered into dust.
"Am I invisible to you?"
Sunny asked. He slowly descended from the open ceiling, his feet touching the stone floor without a sound. His gaze was heavy on Okinawa.
"Realm Ruler... It’s an honor." Okinawa gave a small, mocking bow. His form flickered, and he vanished instantly, slipping through the cracks of reality. In the next second, the residual energy of the gateway also disappeared completely.
"You bastard!! How dare you separate me from my love!!!" Nymeria screamed. She thrashed on the ground, her face twisted in rage, but no matter how she struggles, she couldn’t free herself from the invisible ropes around her.
Sunny stared at Josephine’s mother for some moments. He saw the madness in her eyes, the layers of manipulation woven into her soul by Lester. He exhaled, a sound of heavy burden.
"Lester, even with all my powers, I can’t locate you. This is truly strange." He muttered to himself. The enemies had methods to hide even from a Realm Ruler’s sight.
He flicked his finger towards Nymeria. A golden string of light flew out from his fingertip and struck her forehead. Her screaming cut off instantly, and her eyes rolled to the back of her sockets. Before she could fall, Sunny caught her, and gently placed her on the ground, treating her with the respect due to his wife’s mother, not the enemy she currently was.
He smiled softly, ensuring she was safe in a stasis sleep, and turned to the frozen Violet.
"You? Why did you save me?" Violet asked in confusion, staring at Sunny. Her world was upside down. From the moment she heard of God Wolf, she only wanted to have his head to prove herself to Lilith, but now... He saved her when her own allies abandoned or tried to kill her.
"I saved you because of Lilith... Go back and tell her everything that happened here. I am sure she will be heartbroken when she hears her daughter’s decision." He said calmly. He waved his hand towards her, and a warm golden light washed over her. Instantly, all her internal injuries were healed, her broken ribs knitting together and her pain vanishing.
"Go now."
Violet looked at herself in shock, flexing her hands and feeling the strength return. She slowly rose to her feet, staring at Sunny with a mix of awe and fear. She exhaled, steadying her trembling breath, and nodded her head.
"I will... But, I have one question."
"Go on." Sunny nodded his head at her, his expression patient.
"If you can help Nymeria get her true self back, why didn’t you help Matilda? You could have pulled her back too."
Sunny’s eyes dimmed slightly, looking at the empty space where the portal had taken the fallen Queen.
"The good, loving and kind-hearted Matilda I know is dead. The one in that body is now Blood Queen." He said. His voice carried the weight of absolute truth.
Violet nodded slowly, understanding the distinction. She turned around and opened the heavy oak door. She paused, looking at him over her shoulder, a challenge in her eyes.
"As the god of death, you can bring her back to life." She said.
Seeing Sunny’s expressionless face—neither confirming nor denying the possibility—she nodded once more and walked away, closing the door behind her, leaving the God Wolf alone in the ruins of his enemy’s castle.
