Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 432: Ambitions
[First Realm — The Zenith of Existence]
[High Above the Golden Desert]
The First Realm existed at the very apex of reality, a plane of existence saturated with power so dense it tasted like ozone and ambrosia. Below, endless dunes of golden sand shifted not by wind, but by the will of the atmosphere itself. This place was the throne of creation, filled with Primordial Energy—the raw stuff from which all other universes were forged.
This realm belonged to no one other than the Ruler of Rulers, known as Sunny Draco, the strongest entity in existence.
Sunny stood on the air as if it were solid granite, his hands folded behind his back. His coat, woven from the fabric of the night sky, rippled in a wind that carried the whispers of galaxies. His gaze was fixed on the horizon, tracking five streaks of light tearing through the stratosphere with physics-defying speed.
He raised his hand, his fingers brushing the ether, feeling the pulse of the dimension.
This was the inheritance of Ezekiel, the former Ruler who had bestowed every ounce of his omnipotence upon Sunny. The transfer had been absolute. Sunny could feel everything in this world—from the photosynthesis of a single blade of spirit grass to the beating heart of the strongest dragon. Every atom, every soul, vibrated in harmony with his own heartbeat. They were all under his rule, subject to his command.
Standing a respectful distance behind him were the Three Great Protectors. Once merely Heaven Rank warriors, they had been elevated under Sunny’s reign to the status of True Gods. They stood like statues of obsidian and light, their faces etched with a reverence that bordered on worship.
WHOOSH!!
The air screamed as the five lights accelerated, breaking the sound barrier multiple times over before coming to an abrupt, impossible halt some distance from Sunny.
The light dissipated, revealing five figures. They were breathtakingly beautiful females, their features ethereal, partially concealed by the hoods of their shimmering golden robes. These were the Five Leaders of the Rising Star Mercenaries, a covert unit created by Sunny’s will but managed by Josephine.
"Greetings Lord!!"
The five True God Rank warriors dropped to their knees in unison, hovering in mid-air. Their heads bowed low, pressing against the invisible floor of mana, not daring to meet Sunny’s gaze. The pressure of his presence alone was enough to crush lesser beings.
Sunny moved his gaze over the five, assessing their readiness. Satisfied, he raised a hand and snapped his fingers.
SNAP!
Space tore open beside them. A swirling vortex of energy appeared, a gateway spinning violently with the colors of a distant, turbulent world.
The First Lady, raised her head. Her eyes darted to the gateway, then to Sunny.
"My Lord, you mean?"
"Yes. He already joined the evil side... Go and assist them, you must protect them... For this mission, you will be the captain, Precious," Sunny said calmly, his voice resonating with absolute authority.
Precious nodded her head, her expression stoic. She slowly stood up. Ten years ago, Sunny had plucked her from obscurity and brought her to this world to aid the Queen. That favor had forged her into a major powerhouse. To Precious, her body, soul, and blade belonged to Sunny. She would kill for him, and she would gladly die for him.
"I don’t care if you destroy that whole realm... Just make sure they return safely," he added, the command heavy with the weight of a death sentence for an entire world.
"So, we have the right to kill?"
The lady kneeling behind Precious’s right asked. She raised her head to Sunny, a devilish, predatory smirk playing on her lips.
Sunny tilted his head to look at Elara. The ruthless warrior still retained her volatile personality; time had only sharpened her edge.
"Just the bad guys and anyone who is a threat. Don’t overdo it."
Sunny raised his head to the sky, watching the cosmic currents flow.
"For him joining the evil side is like declaring war against me... Even the other Realm Rulers won’t dare think of that. I have to make an example."
He lowered his gaze back to the five lethal women.
"You know your targets... Don’t fail me."
"When have we ever failed the Lord?" Elara asked softly, licking her lips. Her hands twitched, itching for the feel of blood.
"Go now." Sunny said, ignoring her bloodlust.
"We won’t fail you."
Precious’s form dissolved into a beam of crimson light and shot into the gateway. The other four followed her action instantly, streaking into the portal like falling stars. The vortex snapped shut behind them, leaving only the sound of the wind.
"My Lord."
Jenner, one of the Three Great Protectors, called out in a low voice, staring at the empty space where the gateway had been.
She knew what those five were. They were the ones personally trained by their Lord. He had focused on them even more than his own family, honing them until they rivaled the Protectors themselves.
Precious was the calm in the storm, the tactical mind. But Elara and the others? They were demons placed in chains. The training method Sunny had used broke them down and rebuilt them into perfect killing machines. Sending them into a lower realm, with explicit permission to kill, was akin to releasing a plague.
"You fear the whole realm will be wiped out?" Sunny asked, looking over his shoulder at her.
Jenner swallowed hard, the dryness in her throat betraying her anxiety. She slowly nodded her head.
"That is exactly what I want... But as a Realm Ruler, I can’t allow that."
Sunny opened his palm, staring at the lines on his hand as if reading the script of the universe.
"As a Realm Ruler, my target isn’t the innocent... It’s something more."
A wicked smile curled the corners of his mouth—a smile that promised chaos.
"The game had just begun."
He smiled as the wind blew past his coat, billowing it like the wings of a dark angel.
The three Protectors looked at one another, then back at Sunny. They knew his plan, in theory, but hearing it aloud made it sound insane. It sounded impossible.
’Can someone actually achieve such a thing?’ The three thought in unison, fear and awe mingling in their minds.
