I really wanted to laugh at their reactions but I know it is not the right place and time to do so and make fun of them. It is just that I like to tease others by nature. Sorry, I am not sorry. I am just being honest.

On the other hand, I also realized that the look in their eyes were very familiar to me since I have seen them before with all the men that are now my husbands and fiancés right before we confirmed our relationships. This type of reaction always appeared when I ask them for the first time if they really wanted to be with me for life.

In my defense, I did not want to laugh just because I wanted to tease these three, demean them in any kind of way or doubt their feelings. It was kind of happy and giddy kind of laughter, actually. Please forgive me since I will never get used to people confessing their feelings for me especially with how strongly the version of this confessions were how done it in this world.

You know how they tell you that they are willing to live the rest of my life with me, to bear me as many children as I want to have with them, to share my successes and sorrows, to work hard to earn money and many other things. The difference is in my previous world, it was all bullshit used by men to get in your good graces, in your heart and eventually in your pants.

In this world though, it was different. They actually mean what they say and do what they promised. In relatioships backed up by resonance, men are fiercly loyal and obedient too.

Coming from a world where the quality of men are continuously degrading and meeting loyal men are become few and far in between, this world is a paradise! You still have to add he fact that the general qualities (both physical, mental, spiritual and all other "AL") are way above average, of course, I would feel giddy and happy! I am still a woman, you know?

Realizing that my thoughts have wandered away from the present again, I tightly closed my eyes for a few seconds to refocus. When I opened my eyes, I am again exuding the serious demeanor of someone who came to talk about serious business. Gone was the intent to tease, laugh or daydream.

Since I have waited for a few minutes and none of them seem to have any intentions to leave, I coughed to get their attention and continued. I told them about certain rules I have within my family including the importance of harmony, helping out each other and still being useful. I also told them that I would not stop them from practicing any profession, hobby or businesses they are currently doing and that whatever money they earn, they can keep within their own household for their future children’s use.

The other three were very silent as I was explaining how I do things in my family. I was speaking for several minutes, making sure I laid out all the rules and expectations of a husband under my main household. I also want them to understand that being with me is not becoming a caged bird or a slave and that there shouldn’t be much change in their life except for legal documents and certain evenings in the bedroom.

When I looked up after finishing my lengthy speech, I saw Keeran, Caius and Clarence looking at me with eyes that showed a range of emotions. What I saw was a full range from from shock, appreciation to even happiness.

To be exact, Caius was the one in shock. Clarence was showing some form of appreciation while Keeran just showed genuine happiness as he looked at me.

Keeran quickly stood up and with big strides went to the area where I was seated. He unabashedly grabbed my hands as he excitedly asked, "Does this mean we are really engaged for real?! No more take backs?"

I looked at himin confusion but I still nodded to his question. He suddenly laughed and released my hand. He then hurriedly said that he has to tell his grandfather about it quickly and with a flick of his hand, he has teleported out of my villa.

A laugh involuntarily sputtered out of my lips at how excited Keeran was of the news. As I looked at the other two who was still seated, I noticed that Caius was still staring at me speechlessly, shock still evident on his face.

Clarence had a gentle smile on his face as he also stood up gracefully from his seat. He walked towards me and gave a noble’s bow as he said, "Thank you for accepting me into your family and giving me permission to continue serving the Church of Lumienere. You will never regret the decision you made today, saintess."

Damn, that saintess title again. I have already told him I am not taking that role.

After giving me a formal thanks, Clarence excused himself as he said that he needed to send an urgent letter back to the church headquarters. He then left my villa and walk back to the dormitory of the priests next to my villa.

As I looked back at Caius, he was still not speaking but at least he is not staring dumbly at me anymore. I clicked my tongue and addresses him, "General Caius Astrantia, if you disagree to the rules of my family and can’t meet the expectations I have set, we can forget this meeting ever happened between us. You can leave and go back to your dorms."

Hearing my few statements, Caius was finally out of his stupor. He looked at me as if worried and immediately defended himself, "I- I don’t have any problems with the rules and expectations. And I- I did not expect to be suddenly accepted after declaring that I will court you instead. I was also decided to leave the military if you accept me so we can focus on- umm..." His suddenly cut the last sentence in the middle and he looked away shyly.

Woah! He’s thinking so far ahead already.
