Dimitri was obviously quicker to recover compared to Ioannis and Kayden during the time that they experienced the same situation as him. Even when he was leaving the bed to check on the children, his body was strong and stable enough to stand up on his own and walked in a balanced manner. His steps were even quick as he reached for that part of his room where the baby cribs containing the twins were located.

As if he wasn’t in a lot of pain just a few hours ago, he walked gracefully with no sign of feeling strained whatsoever. After reaching the cribs, he immediately bent forward by his waist and carried our first little boy first, giving the sleeping child a soft peck on his forehead. He carefully leaned forward again to place back the baby boy in his crib. He then took the second boy as well and then the little girl, giving them soft kisse. He was very gentle with them, making sure they will not awaken from their nap time.

Compared to the other husbands, Dimitri has always been a man of few words but he was not a bit shy and definitely not a pushover (except in bed *winks*). I have always known him as one who is courageous, direct and he will definitely tell you bluntly what he wants out of a certain situation or deal. These are the same traits which made me decide to take him as one of my husbands through that business-like proposal he presented to me.

These thoughts passed by my mind quickly before I refocused on my husband and our new babies. After placing back the babies in their respective cribs, we walked back while holding each other’s hand to the edge of the bed to sit. He was quiet so I also kept my silence for several minutes then his dominant way of speaking came out again. Out of the blue he said, "I have the right to name the children too, right?"

It was not really a question if you knew him well. It was simply a confirmation that he will be given the same benefit as the others who have given birth to children in the family before him.

I nodded my head and smiled at him dotingly. For some reason, his face suddenly turned red and he looked away. I excused myself telling him that I will give him time to think about the babies’ names while preparing some nutritious food for him. He just nodded but still refused to meet my eyes, the blush already spreading to the base of his neck and even his ears.

I purposely moved a bit slower than usual to give Dimitri enough time to think and also be with his grandparents. Knowing him though, I am quite sure that he has already thought of the babies’ names a long time ago. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

As for the sudden blushing, it must be his perverted mind spinning again and remembering how these babies came to be. Why do I feel like the more quiet my husband is, the more active his brain is which means he has very vivid imaginations and memories. I couldn’t help but chuckle as I was walking down the corridor.

When I reach the base of the stairs on the first floor, there were a few more additions on the amount of people that usually spend their free time in the living room. This time, Ioannis is occupying one of the single cushions to the right while watching Iosef and Ianthe playing their peculiar games again on the carpet.

Witnessing first hand how Ioannis was supporting Kayden when he was in labor a few days ago, I believe that Ioannis willingly gave up the wider cushioned seats in the middle of the living room so Kayden can take care of the newborn twins better. Currently, Kara is laying on the cushioned seats kicking and waving her little hands while Kayden was carrying Khalil in his arms and feeding him.

I couldn’t help but smile at how they were now more cordial with each other after becoming fathers. I remember the first time they met and it was as if the world is going to freeze over starting from the point where they were standing.

I went straight to the kitchen making sure to make enough snacks and beverages. This time, it was for 3 husbands and two babies that can already eat a bit of solid food. It took me a little over 20 minutes to prepare all of it based on their preferences. I had to be meticulous since two of them just gave birth and needed more specialized diets for recuperation.

After distributing the food to Ioannis, Ianthe, Iosef and Kayden, and of course, giving all six of them their kisses, I went up to Dimitri’s room. I knocked gently to announce my arrival before opening the door and placing the small table filled with food on the bed so Dimitri can eat comfortably.

My grandparents-in-law and my own parents are busy watching and fussing over the sleeping children, boasting how cute they are and how the genes of each side of the family was amazing. They were also sharing and comparing stories of when I and Dimitri were smaller.

I do not know how the topic eventually shifted to them planning on when me and Dimitri are going to have more children as if the people they were discussing about are not in the room and we could not hear their plans. I was tapping Dimitri’s back gently after he choked on his food after hearing what our families are talking about. He was blushing again especially after I looked at him with a naughty smirk on my face.

He looked at me in surprise for a few seconds and simply kept his head down while eating quietly with his ear all red due to embarassment. I waited for him to finish eating before we talked about what names he chose for the babies.

As per my adorable and smart husband, he chose the names based on their meanings and how nice they sound when someone says it. His final decision was that our little girl will be named Yelena which means "bright and shining light". It contains Dimitri’s wish for our daughter to be someone whose presence is always radiant and makes the people around her happy.

Our first little boy’s will be named Yasha which means "transformation or a fresh start". This name is also a wish for our son to be prosperous and victorious in his endeavors as he grows up.

The second little boy’s name will be Yuriy which means "farmer" and someone who is "kind and beautiful". He said it is a tribute to his ancestors since everything that his family is enjoying right now was from the fruits of the land.

These children were also the hope of the Vacarro estate since Dimitri is the only heir in his household for so long. Now that the babies are here, their household is not so lonely anymore.

But, why do I feel like after me and my husband has successfully birthed three babies for both our families, the pressure to have babies became even higher than ever?
