Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 618 - Necessary Adjustments

Just like the period after Kayden gave birth to our twins, I also stayed a week inside Eieneos to assist Dimitri in his adjustment period to his new role as a father. After I leave, it will be my father who will take care of the babies while all three husbands will need to undergo strict education under my mother especially in using their mana to protect themselves and the children.

As to why there were additional classes at this time, all three husbands have outrightly expressed that they wanted to stay in the human realm since I was staying there most of the time. This meant that they would also bring the children with them which would be a tricky situation.

My parents were surprised at first but knowing that I dote on my husbands, they reluctantly agreed but with the condition that the children has to be at least two years old and that my husbands will undergo training on offensive and defensive magic, the Eieneos way.

I remember being also given this crash course on these topics too right after my parents successfully created their corporeal bodies. It was as if they were extremely afraid that I will be bullied by someone or get hurt whenever they were not around to accompany me.

I was lucky that my inherited memories were very reliable or else I would have had to undergo this military-like training curriculum like my husbands would have to go through. Well, it was a condition they willingly agreed to just to join me in the human realm so I could only wish them the best of luck. My mother was a perfectionist and very strict instructor, just so you know.

The one week period that I spent with Dimitri and the twins passed by so quick that this time, I myself was also very reluctant to leave. My brain kept thinking of reasons why I shouldn’t leave that it felt weird and funny at the same time,

My brain automatically went, "I don’t even have classes at the academe anyways so why do I have to go back!" It was then followed by, "It would be almost the term break when I come back anyways!" Together with the sobbing and sniffing sounds around me, I really feel like crying too this time.

Though I had such thoughts, I have to lead by example so I still chose to return to the academe since I made a promise to the grandmaster that I would report back to the academe after every approved leave of absence. I kind of agreeing to that promise so readily before since I was kind of in a hurry that time to get to Tadhana.

After another session of tearful goodbyes, I teleported back to my villa inside the Academe of Gnosis once more. I did not forget to visit Void who hugged me like a koala for almost half an hour before I was finally allowed to leave to tell the grandmaster that I was back. Well, I am sure the old man already knew of my return with how I teleported back openly and with him having the main control orb of the academe’s barrier.

After escaping my koala husband, I left the gates of my villa, walking briskly towards the academe grandmaster’s office. As to why I walked, I am just conserving energy for milk production and I want those two annoying fiancés to know that I am back before they rudely barge in to somebody’s office again.

As expected, they had eyes on my villa all the time as I haven’t reached half of the way to my destination but they already appeared nearby as if it was some coincidence. They automatically started following me closely but not too close, about a few steps behind me. I guess they are trying to be conscientious about the fact that I value my personal space and that maybe, I am still pissed at the moment. Let’s us just say they are scared then.

The duo followed me quietly like shadows and they even went inside the office after I walked in. They still chose to stay a bit far from me, just standing near the door. As for me, I went straight and stood in front of the grandmaster’s desk.

The grandmaster, as if not seeing the two accessories that I came in with, greeted me enthusiastically and then openly asked how was Dimitri and the newborns. I smiled happily at him and assured him that the three are doing amazing. I do understand his enthusiasm about my affairs this time since Dimitri came from a duke’s household and technically, the guy is also an alumni of the academe though he only stayed for a few terms.

Hearing the reason of my absence was yet the same as the last two instances, the faces of Caius and Clarence looked very uncomfortable. I might have an idea as to what is running through their heads right now. It must be in the lines of "Just how many are her husbands and children at present?"

I did not let my eyes linger at the other two for too long and simply started reporting and giving updates to Grandmaster Freidrick. I then asked him for advise if it is a good idea to register all my husbands and children in my family register under Athanoviya empire.

The old man paused and looked down for a bit, seriously contemplating my question. He must be pondering on the pros and cons of such a move. After a few minutes, he replied, "I think it would be advisable to register only your human husbands and the children born from them since they are recorded as residents of the empire. As for the rest..." He did not finish the sentence and simply shook his head.

The grandmaster explained that it for my human husbands who are official residents of the empire, acknowledging them properly in all legal documents as my husbands and also the children as mine men will entitle them to receiving financial support and incentives from the government who is pushing for an increase in the population. The old man also said that it is also for my family’s safety since it was like announcing to the world that my men are taken and together with the children, are protected by me. Though honestly, I fear more for the lives of those who would dare cross my feisty husbands and our children in the future.

As for the other husbands that were from other races, he advised me to just have them officially registered back in my hometown (my kingdom) instead and just add my human husbands and our children there again. In this sense, the complete family tree is safely recorded in Eieneos while the one in the Athanoviya empire will only be a partial record, solely to be used as proof to claim the government financial support and incentives.

He discussed the cons though as the academe and the empire will only recognize and provide points and thus money based on the number of husbands and children that I declared in my family register. This is the rule under the Athanoviya empire since it was built and this I won’t be able to go around it even if the grandmaster knew I had other husbands and children someplace else.

I nodded my head in understanding and thanked the old man for his well-thought and detailed advise. As I have always said, I would take any money that this world will give me especially if there are no strings attached to it (Hurray for freebies!). He said that the government gives a monthly allowance per child which I do not have any shortage of, so I think this would be another stable source of income for my husbands’ respective household branches.
