Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 635 - Last Term in the Academe
After teleporting out, I made sure to go visit the Moonlight and Starlight blocks first especially now that I only have my father-in-law to manage two huge areas. I surely know that it is a strenuous job to manage several business and also hundreds of employees everyday. I think I need more trustworthy people to handle my business affairs that is not necessarily a husband or an in-law as much as possible.
It then came to my mind about the activities I did in Kolyer before. Would it work if I do another job fair type of thing but this time in the middle of Hoffen City? I am sure to attract people who are best fit for the jobs if I offer an attractive salary and employee benefits I guess.
Izuku and Feivel offered to quit their jobs to help out but I said that they are earning well in their current jobs so I would not do that to them. I also told them that I need insiders in the business registration and land offices so they can help me more by staying where they are as of the moment.
They reluctantly nodded their heads to agree with my decision. As for Uncle Daejung, he successfully hired two young apprentices that were interested in studying herbs and alchemy with him. He said that they were orphans that he picked up from the orphanage, two young boys at about the age of 8. As for his son, Dongmin, he is still assisting with the herb supply and inventory on the side while doing adventurer work.
I wanted to do the job fair but since I have to leave in a few days, there isn’t time to arrange for that to happen for now. I told my father-in-law about my thoughts of hiring additional people and he agreed that is was a great idea since it will also give jobs to people who need more money to help them live better.
I did quick visits in Rigden, Ersha, Larkspur and Kolyer where my other husbands were at to check on them. I especially checked Kolyer where Damian and his two younger brothers were staying since they are managing some businesses for me. I wanted to know if they have anything that they might need from me.
I picked the start of my immersion to be at the end of the first week of the new term. I needed a few more days to complete some of my errands before leaving for another three months jumping from one territory to another. I have also given a heads up to my people at the palace about my itinerary once I leave so they know where to find me just in case.
I did not forget to drop by in Sklavryet and Marahuyo too. I could say that the busiest I have been was when I had all the meetings with Noir, routinary inspections for Sohmiren City, giving instructions to my half a battalion of people led by Richard and lastly, bonding with my new fiancées in Marahuyo.
All my efforts was all worth it as I now have a bit of progress in the baby making side of the mission during my brief stay there. I made sure to follow the draw-lots that the fiancées did as to who would go next after Artak to ensure the fairness of it all.
Using my ability to tinker with the time (1 hour is now equal to 12 hours), I consummated my relationship with four more husbands that are next on the list. I did not stop until I was sure that we have more buns in the oven. I allotted an equivalent of four days for each one (8 hours in human time) to make that happen.
After a lot of bedroom (s)exercises during my two day stay in Marahuyo, we have some upcoming beastmen babies to be born soon. We are expecting 6 peachicks from Oran, 2 calves from Gyan, 4 tiger cubs from Toran and 3 bear cubs from Orcis.
Now, me and my husbands have to start thinking about names as early as now. Naming children is not an easy job, you know?
YEAH. I WAS VERY BUSY.
After the pregnancies have been confirmed, I made sure to bring them to Tadhana for the routine health check-up by my father after the honeymoon. This is also to ensure that there will always be someone available to take care of their needs. It can either be my parents, Laerad (though he said he did not want it, he still does) and the other men living in Tadhana. They would also need more mystique essence and mana to support the children’s growth so there is no better place to stay in but there.
My other fiancées started to look at me differently, a little more sticky or hot if you could use those adjective for a stare, I guess. It is most likely due to my little show of strength in the bedroom duties resulting with getting four husbands pregnant in a matter of two days.
Well, I did tell them I have like some kind of fertility buff from the gods and the ability to tweak time so we stayed way longer than 8 hours in the room. I do not know if they fully believed me but it does not change the fact that I got everyone pregnant after 4 days.
That’s 100% chance of pregnancy. If I wasn’t going somewhere, I think they won’t let me go until all of them were pregnant except for the little deer boy that isn’t of age yet. I was never more glad that I had a valid excuse to leave.
Speaking of babies, once I graduate from the academe, I have to take care of my husbands in the palace too before they go crazy due to impatience of not being pregnant yet. That is especially for that demanding prince. Why do I feel like my mission never ends?!
ARRRGGGHH!!! I did wish to be in a world full of beautiful men who will get pregnant on my behalf but my original plan was just to be a rich salted fish, doing nothing. Why do I never run out of things to do?!
I blame it all on my conscience and that tiny bit of kindness I still have in me. I do not want to treat my men badly and I don’t want my children to grow up with not enough resources. And yeah, I love money since it fixes most of my problems.
(A/N: Yeah. You are a good wifey and mommy. *taps shoulder*)
I returned with all these thoughts and plans in my head but my face doesn’t show not one bit of the raging storm that is in my head. I went to my villa inside the academe and started giving instructions to Arthur to start packing up our things since we will be moving out immediately once I return from the immersion. I can just come back for whatever graduation they may have in the academe afterwards.
I have also secretly paid off whatever is left of the amount he needs to pay for his freedom from the academe as well. He will get a beautiful surprise once he inquires about it one of these days after I left which I am sure he will do.
I did last minute paperwork for the academe and I already requested the computation of my academe points as well as the conversion of the current points I have to money. I do not have any intention of using up any of the points anyway. I also told them that I will be renting out my villa to whoever is interested once I graduate with the permission of the academe grandmaster.
As for the apartment-like building next to my villa, I recently found out that the Pope of the Church of Lumienere placed it under my name as a gift after I accepted Clarence as my official fiancé. Now, I became a landlady once more but within the academe grounds this time. I made sure to give 25% of the rental proceeds to the academe for this cooperation.
Their part might seem small but you should remember that my villa is spacious with about 10 rooms plus one personal office. The nobles would love this place. As for the apartment, it had a total of 20 rooms, enough to house 40 priests per term. Renting each of those would indeed earn money well since they are all fully furnished.
I did not have much luggage except for a small body bag since everything is already in my storage ring and separate storage space. I left quietly from the academe grounds very early the next morning, even before the sun was up. I rode an inconspicuous carriage that was unmarked and looked old once more to the borders of Hoffen City but this time towards the west direction. Once I reached there border town, I would then be picked up by the carriage of the Astrantia estate once I call for them to get to my first destination.
