Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 634 - Some Leisure Time Before the Chaos Again
After saying goodbye to the sleeping Laerad, I went back to the Eieneos palace just in time for dinner. As I opened the main door of the palace, the first thing I saw was all my husbands and our children huddling in the living room. Each one was doing their own thing. They were either reading, playing, chatting with each other or simply enjoying some snacks and refreshments.
Honestly, looking at them was a bit calming. I always wanted a big family and seeing them in such harmony is making my heart swell with joy. It made me feel like all the difficult decisions I made and all the confusion and stress I went through from the time I came here was all worth it.
All eyes landed on me when I walked through the door. Iosef and Ianthe ran towards me as fast as their chubby little legs could take them. The other babies, Khalil, Kara, Yelena, Yasha and Yuriy were on their bellies playing on the plush carpet. They looked like they wanted to welcome me the same way as their older siblings but their bodies aren’t that strong yet to crawl towards where I was. Realizing this, the babies looked very much frustrated about it that they look like they were about to cry.
I hurriedly carried Iosef and Ianthe in my arms and walked briskly towards where the other infants were before the dams of their eyes broke. I sat down on the carpet so that the babies are a bit closer to me. They started hitting their hands on the floor and kicking their legs to get to me but to no avail. I only have two arms so I had to take the time to carry them one by one to give them a little hug and a kiss on their cheeks which successfully calmed the collective tantrum that was about to ensue.
I looked at my four husbands and they were looking at me with a sweet smile on their faces with a trace of amusement on my current predicament. I stuck my tongue out towards them and smiled back. My husbands chuckled and the other three stood up from their seats and sat on the carpet with me and their respective children.
Lark stayed on the sofa since the floor is too low for a pregnant person to sit on and he said that it was uncomfortable when his stomach is being pressed too much. From the sofa though, I can see that he was watching all of us seated on the carpet with fondness and yearning. He must be thinking excitedly of the time when our own children will also be playing with their older siblings like this, right in this living room.
These peaceful days continued with me visiting Laerad and helping him out in his rounds around the world tree realm. I also helped him out greatly with arranging new territories for the other races that are yet to move as our tenants in the realm.
Surprisingly, the husband who is pregnant with three deities still had his stomach flat and firm with his abs that he is so proud of. Well, you can’t fake it so much since the pregnancy hormones is quite difficult to handle though (if that even applies to deities that is). He is just grumpy normally but now you add the dramatic and the moody too so... that is how it is I guess.
The time adjustment to reduce the time between the new world tree realm and Eieneos is almost done with only a couple of sessions left. Fortunately, I will be able to do both during my stay, decreasing any further demand of mana from Laerad who is already occupied with nourishing our naughty babies who has started to seemingly play soccer inside him. He was complaining that they were not moving before during the early part of his pregnancy and now he is complaining that they are moving too much.
As for the territories, we are already making final touches for the new Ceryneia since we need to place the new merfolks into their new homes soon and I made sure it was spacious for a huge race. Marius previously told me that merfolks do not only live in Ceryneia since a huge percentage of their people aren’t really doing well staying in that place. Most were forced to live on land or other bodies of water to survive so it is possible that I will still meet others that need my help in some place else.
As for the other already established territories, the tenants have already greatly improved their quality of living. I already saw good quality houses that have been built. They have also made a system of bartering between races to get their needs. The herbivores have also started farming and have gotten their small harvests so far.
Everyone looked happy and contented. Even so, they never forgot to pay their rents on time which is a good thing since the last beings that they should piss off is me and Laerad.
I only got a few days of rest remaining before the new term starts which will force me to go on another immersion task for the academe. During those remaining days in Eieneos and the world tree realm, I squeezed in everything I could which included the completion of the new Vlaelmundr. I do have a strong feeling that I will be taking in a dragon soon since I am very interested in that little bug who has been spying on me lately. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
On the day of my departure back to the human realm, it was way noisier and had more ugly crying in both of the two places of course, the palace and Tadhana. I do not know why the husbands are now crying with their babies. They were even crying louder than the children so I really do not understand anymore.
It took some time to calm everyone down before I immediately teleported out of the places before another bout of crying starts. While I am on my way back, I sent a telepathic message to Laerad about that spell we were researching about that would help me out in this situation. If that does not work, I think I should just put my whole family in the same place or at least two places. One would be for the human and deified husbands while the other one be for the mystiques. Well, I guess there would be three because Laerad loves his personal space.
Whichever may work in the end, I will do my best to decide what is best for everybody. If the family compound-like living arrangements happen in the future so be it. Even if it may eventually cause less peace of mind for everybody at least no one would feel left out. The children can also grow up together and everyone can help out in child-rearing.
The best part? I only have to visit 3 places instead of 12. Isn’t that amazing?

The living areas of the husbands and fiancés were in the Eieneos Palace (Ioannis), Moonlight Block (Kayden), Starlight Block (Lark), Vacarro Estate (Dimitri), Athanoviya Palace (Aurum, Helios, Yren, Calix and Xenos), the little white hut (Laerad), Bragen (Claude), Kolyer (Damian), Ersha (Quintin), Sklavryet (Arsenti, Kyros and Galen), Marahuyo (mystique fiancés) and the rest were in Tadhana.
If you add the three new fiancés, Luna may need to visit the Magic Tower (Keeran), Astranstia Dukedom (Caius) and the headquarters of the Church of Lumienere (Clarence) in the future too.
