Invincible Kungfu Healer-Chapter 1046 - Heavenly Book of Creation
Chapter 1046: Heavenly Book of Creation
Even the most basic of Hundred Spirit Sacred Treasures was extremely powerful and terrifying, and a Divine Illusionary realm cultivator might not necessarily own a treasure like that. This was also why the Sacred Fire Sword had attracted the attention of the Peng Lai Immortal Realm sects. Aside from the Huatian Palace, it was very difficult for the sects of the Peng Lai Immortal Realm to obtain sacred treasures, especially because no one there could concoct one.
If a cultivator wanted to concoct a sacred treasure, they would need to possess cultivation at the Divine Illusionary Realm. Even the best weapon refining expert needed cultivation at the Divine Illusionary Realm because sacred treasures were no ordinary magical treasures. They were treasures of a path that contained all sorts of big and small paths.
Generally speaking, only cultivators who were at least at the Path Integration Realm would find it simpler to integrate their path with the treasure. Even Divine Illusionary Realm cultivators would find it difficult to concoct sacred treasures.
This was why there were not a lot of sacred treasures in the Peng Lai Immortal Realm, and the ones that had been present had been treasures passed down since the Great War of the Middle Ages. But so many years had passed since then, so the sects that still handed down these sacred treasures as part of their legacy were few and far between.
The Junior Master’s Pagoda had a total of seven floors and each floor was basically a small world that had its own landscapes, rivers, forests, glaciers, snowy mountains, and deserts…
Perhaps it was not as big as the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension in terms of size, but even a sparrow had all its organs despite its small size.
The Jade Xiu King and the Divine Dragon Mo Yuqing would usually practice on the first floor. This space was personally constructed by the Creation Sect Leader during ancient times and it contained a rather dense amount of Vital Qi from the heavens and earth. Although the Vital Qi was not as terrifyingly dense as it was in the primeval space, cultivating in this place for a year was as good as doing so for 10 years elsewhere.
Aside from that, the first floor had a time acceleration zone. For every year that elapsed in the outside world, 10 or 100 years would have elapsed in the time acceleration zone.
The acceleration of time was something that Mo Wen had once experienced for himself in the Vermillion Bird Palace Hall of the Huatian Palace. The practice area of the Vermillion Bird Palace Hall had a training ground with time acceleration, but one would have to use Contribution Credits to be able to practice inside.
However, the time acceleration zone in the Vermillion Bird Palace Hall was merely a regular time acceleration stratagem, so it could only accelerate time for the average martial arts practitioner and not for cultivators who were at the Primordial Soul Realm or above. Those time acceleration stratagems had no effect whatsoever on cultivators who were at the Primordial Soul Realm or above.
Everything in the world is connected and a lot of things were relative. For example, a Primordial Soul Realm cultivator might seem like a deity to a mortal, but the same cultivator would be akin to an ant to a Supreme Profundity Realm cultivator.
The same went for time acceleration stratagems. Such stratagems had its restrictions and could only accelerate time for cultivators who were in a specific range of cultivation, and they would not work for anyone out of that range. This was because time was much easier to manipulate for lower cultivations. The higher the cultivation, the more difficult it was to manipulate their time—this was the law of change for everything in the world.
Even the most powerful time acceleration stratagem that the Huatian Palace had could only manipulate time for a Tide Changing Realm cultivator, and the range of time that was altered was rather short. At the Supreme Profundity Realm, it was virtually impossible to practice by accelerating time.
But the time acceleration stratagem in the Junior Master’s Pagoda that Mo Wen owned could alter time for up to a Virtue and Justice realm cultivator. Although the higher the cultivation, the shorter the range of time that was changed, the fact that time could be changed for a Virtue and Justice realm cultivator was a testament to how impressive the Junior Master’s Pagoda was.
Aside from that, there were a lot of other zones on the first floor that aided in practice, such as the Heavens Change. The Path of Creation also had that in the second test. By comprehending the Heavens Change technique, cultivators could better and quicker understand the power of heaven and earth. Understanding the Heavens Change, as well as the rules and order in which the big path operated on, could also help cultivators comprehend and control their own path.
Such a sacred practice ground was difficult to find in any of the other worlds, much less in the source world.
This was why the Junior Master’s Pagoda was a priceless treasure even amongst the Mystic Heaven Sacred Treasures and one of the most important gems in the ancient Creation Sect.
However, outsiders could only move about on the first floor. They were not allowed on floors two through seven, and only Mo Wen had the right to access those floors.
The second floor was an illusory space. The items in it had no fixed shape or form. In the grand scheme of things, the floor referred to the entire dimension, the entire world, and even the structure of the entire world. On a smaller scale, the floor referred to a mountain, a river, a tree, a leaf, mud, and even just dust and dirt… All of these were constantly changing, ceaselessly transforming.
The entire world existed in a repetitive cycle of birth, followed by destruction, and then birth again.
Mo Wen sat quietly on the second floor. The entire world was changing and he was the only one who was unchanging. Like a monk without worldly passions, he sat at the place and a hundred years had passed.
The only thing was that the time passed was based on the time for the second floor, and only a year had passed outside of the pagoda because he had accelerated time within this space a hundred folds.
Mo Wen was like an old tree, sitting on one spot without the slightest movement as he practiced quietly for a hundred years. The aura on his body was getting smaller and smaller, dimmer and dimmer, as though he could thoroughly wither at any moment and become a dead, withered tree.
Only the higher-level cultivators would know that he was not on the brink of exhaustion but in a deep state of meditation. This state was only achievable during the deepest moments of practice, and the effects of practice were the best at such moments.
Time flowed like water and an indeterminate amount of time had passed. Mo Wen’s body had seemed like it was on the verge of collapse, but vigorous life aura exploded within his body and he was like a withered tree that had come back to life. He was like a sun, becoming more and more dazzling.
A hazy layer of white light enveloped his body and he was resplendent like starlight, fathomless like moonlight. That was none other than the Light of Creation. However, this time, the Light of Creation was slightly different than usual. It was unlikely that anyone could point out specifically what was different but, on the surface, it was obvious that the Light of Creation on Mo Wen was much brighter and smoother. It cascaded off of him like silk, endless like water flowing from a stream.
“The Light of Creation is finally a success.”
Mo Wen opened his eyes unhurriedly, the light in his eyes was mysterious and boundless, as though it contained every change in heaven and earth. He extended a hand slowly. Looking at the mellow, white light leaping about on his fingertips, his lips curled into a small smile. After a hundred years of enlightenment, he finally succeeded in completing the Light of Creation.
Mo Wen realized his Light of Creation was only at the earliest stage after he had entered the Junior Master’s Pagoda, and he still had a long way to go if he wanted proper attainment of the Light of the Creation.
The Nine-day art of Creation was a secret technique that helped him cultivate the Heavenly Path of Creation, and the existence of the Junior Master’s Pagoda assisted the Junior Master in cultivating the Nine-day art of Creation.
On the whole, there were about six processes for the Path of Creation. The first step was to cultivate the Light of Creation, the second step was to cultivate the esoteric rule for Creation, the third step was to cultivate the small path of Creation, the fourth step was to cultivate the medium path of Creation, the fifth step was to cultivate the big path of Creation, and the sixth step was to cultivate the Heavenly Path of Creation. As for after the sixth step, Mo Wen was not too sure if there were higher stages of the Path of Creation, nor did most of the ancestors of the ancient Creation Sect in the past.
The latter six floors in the Junior Master’s Pagoda corresponded to the six processes of the Path of Creation, so he could only enter the third floor after he had successfully cultivated the Light of Creation, and he could only enter the fourth floor after he had successfully done that for the esoteric rule for Creation…
Mo Wen had only been able to enter the second floor before this, and he could finally move on to the third after successfully cultivating the Light of Creation.
With just a thought, he disappeared from the second floor and instantly appeared in a more expansive world.
But the space on the third floor did not seem all that much different from that of the second floor. Like before, it was an unstable world, a space that was changing ceaselessly, stuck in a cycle of birth and destruction as always.
But Mo Wen inspected the space carefully and found out that the space on the third floor was much more subtle and profound than the second floor had been, and a lot of the changes were a lot more detailed and comprehensive. The changes in the heaven and earth were becoming increasingly marvelous, bringing more in-depth guidance to Mo Wen’s cultivation of the Path of Creation.
In truth, the Path of Creation was one of the processes in the birth and destruction of the heavens and earth. Legend had it that the universe had only been a hazy nothingness. There had been no heaven or earth, no time, no space, no living creatures… After that came Creation, then the thousands of creatures of creation, the sky, the land, space, time, things, life… A series of creation-driven evolution appeared in the chaos before the world existed.
Of course, creation was not just about birth; destruction was also a part of creation.
For a better understanding, Mo Wen was always looking at the birth and destruction of the heavens and earth from the sky, even if it was just for a deeper understanding of the Path of Creation.
“The esoteric rule for Creation is simply too difficult to grasp. I don’t think I have much hope, not even within a thousand years.”
Mo Wen could feel the world of the third floor changing, and he once again realized just how profound the Path of Creation was. The Path of Creation was perhaps the most complicated and profound of the many Heavenly Paths, so much so that complete enlightenment of the Path of Creation and the creatures of creation would mean the enlightenment of the other Heavenly Paths easy as well. When that time came, what would it feel like?
Mo Wen was thinking about something no one else had previously thought about—or maybe they had, just that they had never achieved it.
However, that was all in his imagination. The esoteric rule for Creation that he was dealing with right now was already difficult enough to grasp, much less grasping complete and thorough enlightenment of the Path of Creation.
It was different from the esoteric rules for fire, water, and thunder.
These forces formed naturally in the heavens and earth and had their own forms and souls. To understand the mysteries of the heavens, a cultivator’s Primordial Soul integrated into the heavens and earth, so it was relatively easy to understand the laws and secrets of those powers.
But the esoteric rule for Creation was different. It had no form or soul, and every single change in the heavens existed within a single system, so it was necessary to completely understand the other esoteric rules before trying to understand the esoteric rule for Creation.
Mo Wen knew he could not understand the esoteric rule for Creation within a short length of time, and he did not bother to understand the mysteries of Creation. With a thought, he produced a mysterious ancient book from within his body. There was a large word on the book—Creation.
Mo Wen did not recognize the word, but he understood its meaning. This book was something Mo Wen had miraculously attained from the Pool of Creation.
Speaking of which, he did not actually remember anything about how he had managed to obtain this book and yet he knew, at this moment, that this was the Heavenly Book of Creation.
The name of this book was known by few people outside because even the ancestors of the ancient Creation Sect merely knew about the legend of this book and had never seen it themselves.
