Last Wizard King's SSS-Level Magic system in Modern World-Chapter 153: Round 2- Part 2
Chapter 153: 153: Round 2- Part 2
Liam exhaled slowly, relaxing his grip on his magic. He had been prepared to fight, but luckily, they had left on their own.
Asger, however, was far less amused. He stretched his claws against the stone floor, clearly irritated.
"Pathetic. That was all it took for them to run away?"
Liam smirked.
"Not everyone is as fearless as you."
Asger flicked his tail.
"It’s not about fear. It’s about strength. These humans are too weak. They should’ve at least tried to break through."
Liam rolled his eyes.
"Calm down, Asger. We don’t need any unnecessary trouble right now."
But Asger was clearly still frustrated.
"I need to stretch my limbs. I’m going outside. I’m transforming."
He grumbled.
Liam shot him a look.
"Seriously? Right now?"
"I’ve been stuck in my small form for too long. It’s uncomfortable. Besides, I want to remind these weaklings what real power looks like."
Liam sighed, but he didn’t argue.
"Fine. Just don’t destroy anything important."
With a pleased growl, Asger leaped out of the cave and into the open clearing. The moment he was outside, his body shimmered with magic as he began to transform.
His small, compact form stretched and expanded, growing larger by the second. Golden scales glistened under the dim dungeon light, and his wings unfurled with a powerful gust of wind.
The ground trembled as his claws dug into the dirt, and his tail swiped through the air, cutting through the misty atmosphere.
A deep, reverberating growl echoed through the dungeon. freewebnσvel.cøm
The presence of a fully grown dragon sent an immediate wave of panic through the surrounding area.
Liam could hear startled screams and hurried footsteps in the distance as other students caught sight of Asger’s true form.
Some dropped their weapons. Others immediately ran for cover.
It wasn’t every day that someone encountered a dragon in the middle of a tournament.
Liam leaned against the cave wall, watching the chaos unfold with mild amusement.
"You just had to make a scene, didn’t you?"
Asger let out a low chuckle, shaking his massive head.
"Of course. What’s the point of being a dragon if I don’t make people tremble a little?"
Liam sighed, but he didn’t bother stopping him. After all, Asger wasn’t wrong. Fear was a powerful tool. And if people were too afraid to approach, then that just meant Liam would have fewer distractions during the tournament.
Still, this was bound to draw attention. He just hoped it wasn’t too much attention.

The sudden emergence of a dragon in the middle of the second round of the tournament sent waves of panic through the academy.
The students who had seen Asger’s towering form firsthand were left trembling, many immediately fleeing in the opposite direction without a second thought.
The dungeon’s eerie silence was now replaced by frantic whispers and hurried footsteps as competitors scrambled to distance themselves from the terrifying presence.
However, the real chaos was brewing in the teachers’ observation chamber.
Inside the monitoring room, the faculty members were in disarray. Some of them stood from their seats, their eyes glued to the screens that displayed different parts of the dungeon.
The problem was, one of those screens now showed a massive, golden-scaled dragon, wings spread wide, dominating the scene.
"This test has to be halted immediately. A dragon appearing in a Level D dungeon? This is beyond dangerous! We need to extract the students before it’s too late!"
One of the teachers demanded, his voice shaking slightly.
"I agree. Forget the tournament. The academy will be held responsible if someone gets killed. Who allowed a dragon inside the competition arena?"
Another professor chimed in, face pale.
Despite the rising panic in the room, Victor simply leaned back in his chair, watching the chaos unfold with a smirk playing on his lips.
"Calm down, all of you. There’s no need to overreact."
He said lazily, crossing his arms.
Professor Elara shot him a sharp look.
"Overreact? Victor, are you seriously telling us to ignore the fact that a dragon just appeared out of nowhere? What if it decides to go on a rampage?"
Victor chuckled.
"That would be interesting, wouldn’t it?"
Several teachers gaped at him, appalled by his casual attitude.
Professor Aldric, usually calm, had a deep frown on his face.
"This isn’t funny, Victor. If the dungeon’s creatures were somehow manipulated to allow a dragon in, we need to investigate immediately. This test must be stopped before—"
Victor sighed dramatically and waved a hand.
"Relax. There’s no need for such drastic measures."
"No need? We’re talking about a dragon! Are you saying we can fight it if something goes wrong?"
One of the younger instructors repeated, staring at Victor like he had lost his mind.
The room fell into silence at that question.
That was the real problem.
The teachers knew very well that none of them, except perhaps a select few, could confidently say they could handle a dragon if it became hostile. Stopping the test was one thing. Fighting was another.
With uncertainty written all over their faces, the professors turned to Elder Erin, the highest authority present.
Unlike the others, Elder Erin had remained quiet this entire time, watching the situation unfold with an unreadable expression.
His silence only added to the tension in the room.
Victor, noticing this, smirked.
"See? Even Elder Erin isn’t saying anything. Isn’t that answer enough for you?"
That made the other professors hesitate.
They all knew Elder Erin well. He was not someone who overlooked potential danger.
If he truly believed the dragon was a threat, he would have stepped in already. But he remained still, offering no immediate commands or orders.
The tense atmosphere in the room slowly shifted.
"Let’s observe for now. If the situation escalates, we will take action"
Elder Erin finally said, his voice calm and unwavering.
The teachers exchanged glances, still clearly uneasy but unwilling to openly challenge Elder Erin’s authority.
Victor grinned.
"There, see? No need to panic."
Even though the teachers were still skeptical, they reluctantly agreed to wait and watch.
