Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!-Chapter 171 : Checking The Examination Results
"Will you quit Dragging me already?" Aoni cried while wearing a 'Kill me please' expression as Damien pulled him through the crowd.
Unfortunately no matter how hard he pulled or much he struggled he'd was unsuccessful in freeing himself from the annoying guy's grasp.
"In my defense, Aoni, if I hadn't, you'd probably still be sitting on that couch even though you know your scores were already posted." Glancing over his shoulder, Damien retorted with a knowing smile.
If anything, he was in the same boat. Had he not shown an act of uncharacteristic courage in reaching out to talk to Aoni in the first place, he more than likely would have ignored the notification on his Smartwatch and stayed seated until the crowd in front of the screen dispersed.
Due to his little quirk of never shutting up and running his mouth, Damien was quite well known but actually more notorious, and Aoni noticed rather quickly as they cut through the crowd that there were a lot of people whispering about his new friend behind his back.
---
"Isn't that Damien? Who's the guy with him?"
"I don't know, but keep your voice down. Don't you see both have Orange-Cards?"
"True, but still, to think someone could put up with that Pink-Eyed loser, tsk."
"All the money in the world, and it's totally wasted on a moron like him; I bet he paid off this new guy to be friends; you'd think he would have learned after Marek and Gallen took him for a ride."
"Haha, I seriously can't believe Damien was so desperate to have friends he would pay people; it's pathetic."
"I wonder who the new guy is; he seems kind of meek; I mean, just look at that clothing he's wearing; I bet it's all handmade; just look at the shitty craftsmanship."
---
The more gossip he heard, the more aggravated Aoni became; however, knowing it would do no good to speak up or fight back, all he could do was observe how Damien was reacting.
"Just ignore them; I'm sorry, I know you probably don't like attention," however much to Aoni's surprise, instead of the hyper and loudmouth he had come to know over the last half hour or so, he was met by the visage of a young man broken down by the words and actions of his peers.
Pushing forward and standing shoulder to shoulder with Damien, Aoni ran his tongue along the inside of his bottom lip and peeked over his shoulder.
"It's fine, doesn't bother me one bit; if anything, all it does is show me everyone's true colors; besides, look around; you and I are the highest Tiered Travelers in this crowd, all those bitching and crying right now, are Grey-Cards, with only a sprinkling of Red's." Hiding a smirk under his bangs, Aoni shifted his line of sight to the screen, where dozens of small boxes were listed in alphabetical order, each box with a different Traveler's information.
Funny enough, the first name Aoni looked for wasn't even his own; instead, it was Damien's, which he found with relative ease since it was near the top of the list.

"Tssss, well damn Damien, gotta say you're stronger than I thought," Aoni mused while turning to look over at his new friend; however, the moment he did, he instantly regretted it because, for some reason, Damien was looking at him like he was some kind of monster.

"What? Did I do something?" He asked in confusion.
"Did you do something, Bro? What the hell is all THAT?" Like magic, Damien's face morphed into one of excitement, well, over-excitement while snapping his arm out to the side and pointing at a particular box.
"Oh…well, I better hit the road now…" Scanning through his results for a split second, Aoni slowly inched away from Damien, planning to make a speedy retreat, when his arm was suddenly grabbed and pulled in the opposite direction he wanted to go.
"Nuh-uh, you ain't going nowhere bro, these numbers are insannnne, DUDE HOWWW! You gotta teach me your training regiment," Hugging onto Aoni's arm for dear life, Damien stared up at his new friend with a twinkle in his eye.
"Do you think I won't smash your face in if you keep looking at me like that? Gross! Get off me!" Planting an open palm against Damien's face, Aoni shoved him away and stole another glance at his Examination Results.

'Shit, I thought you said that my numbers wouldn't be crazy!' Feeling his heart rate accelerate and a trickle of sweat forming on his brow, Aoni screamed in his mind.
It may seem that the User's Stats are quite high; however, certain unknown factors can boost a being's physical capabilities; as such, the Veeramon Scoring Table is not only inaccurate when trying to define Stats but also extremely crude
With the User's Stats all being at the Rank of E+, they have already technically crossed over into the D-Stage; however, it will be observed as a well-known inconsistency
'So basically, any higher-up who sees this will know that either I train my ass off more than I should, or I consumed something to boost my stats?'
That is one way the User can look at it; however, it's more like they will look through the User's charts and information. When the Aura incident from the Flume is factored into the equation, the numerical value of the Stats is acknowledgeable
'One last thing, how accurate are these numbers? Like to my actual stats.'
They are 100% accurate to the User's True Stats, not the Manipulated ones
'Good to know, now what the hell am I going to do about this lunatic,' Shaking his arm to try and free it, Aoni stared at Damien with dead eyes and sighed.
"Can we leave now? I think you have drawn enough attention to us, and I still need to go get a communicator."
