Elias was no longer in a rush, and so he was determined to go through his Status with a fine-tooth comb. He knew there was still danger around him, but he felt assured in his abilities like never before.
There was no need to rush to glance through his Status because he might become distracted, and it was better to read each line carefully. Too many dangerous events had happened to him recently, and surviving all of this may led to unexpected benefits and discoveries that he might miss if he was not careful.
He may be leaving here soon, and too many strange things had happened to him, and Elias had to figure out what to keep to himself and what he should keep buried.
Elias trusted the Order, but he knew very well about the greed of men, and he contained too many secrets inside him not be careful about what he chose to reveal.
Upon viewing the changes in the first lines of his Status, Elias was grateful that he had chosen to be extremely critical of everything he was seeing because there was so much information and secrets that were unfolding before his eyes.
The first observation was his name which still remained Elias, but then he noted the indicator stating True Name, and he believed it must be related to his bloodline or his accomplishment in the future that would allow him to be able to claim a name that was closer to his nature, he could be wrong about this but it did not seem that important at the moment, so he placed this mystery aside.
This would be one of the questions he would be asking about when he got the opportunity to do so.
The next change was about his Race, which at first had been Human - Anomalous Variant, and Elias thought it must be related to his unknown past, because clearly, his Status screen believed he was not fully human.
Elias knew Anomalous to mean abnormal, deviating from the norm, and he was not just abnormal; he was still a variant of an abnormal being. To say he was not intrigued was understating the case, but he knew that he needed to survive first before he could know more of himself.
However, he had no time to truly explore what an Anomalous Variant was because he had evolved into something new; he was a Divine Remnant Hybrid with the Pillar of Sorrow assimilated into his body.
Somehow, Elias suspected that the way he had absorbed the Fragment of Divinity was not the way he was supposed to do it. Or perhaps, what was referred to as an Angel was just a hybrid of the Divine, but he could not confirm until he knew more from the Commander. As far as he could tell, she was the only Angel in the Stoneward Asylum.
The third change he could see that was changed was his Age, which remained at 18, but his Status had added a new section beside it- Chronologically. What did that even mean? Did the Status believe he was older in some other manner that was beside his real age, or did the addition of a Divine Fragment to his body mean the way his body treated time had changed?
That was not all; it seemed the wispy form he took inside his Oceans of Lumina had been given a designation, Ageless Echo, and it seemed also not to be tied to his age, with the spiritual tag beside it.
Elias thought that it must be linked to his Will, and perhaps he might be able to survive outside his body with this Echo, but these were all discoveries he was eager to explore in the future.
If all of these were eye-opening, his current Stage, he was no longer a Reawakened Siphon. After merging with the Divine Fragment, he had become an Ascendant Candidate whose potential was mutated yet still placed at Bronze.
Elias now understood that an Ascendant Candidate must be an Angel, because they were the only ones closest to the Divine and could live long enough to reach the Ascendant level. He wondered where Bronze rated in the grand scheme of things, but Elias knew that the rating from his Status screen could only come from his Oceans of Lumina, and how impossible it was for him to fill it.
He did not know what this might mean for his future, but before he began to question anything, he must first determine how far his road would go before he reached the next level when he made his next kills.
The next portion of his Status was his Path, and after being surprised to discover that he had a dual constitution that accepted both Miracle and Condemnation, he had previously noted that his Status Screen had shown his path under a forced equilibrium as unstable, but that danger seemed to have passed.
Elias read, Equilibrium Achieved – Sovereign Balance, with a weird look in his eyes. He stroked his chest, glanced at the purple mark, and also thought about the twenty purple orbs floating above his Oceans of Lumina. Could it be that simple?
According to his teachings, Lumina was essentially just vitality, but this Vitality had been combined with the blood of the gods and daemons, and this gave it power.
Blue Lumina was the Aspect of the gods, and it was mostly found in humans and other humanoid races. Red Lumina was the Aspect of Daemons, and was mostly found in Beasts and other Beast-like races, but a small percentage of humans and other humanoid races still had Red Lumina as their path. Elias knew of two members of the Order who had Red Lumina.
Elias was well aware of simple color theory, and he knew that mixing red and blue gave you purple. Knowing that he had a dual path must be the reason why the twenty Miracle/Condemnation orbs floating above his Oceans of Lumina were purple and not red or blue.
