[If it is any consolation, I gave her an extremely thorough beatdown. Without advance healing items, she would be breathing through a straw for the foreseeable future.]

'Thanks. Although it would have been better to not let the girls hear what I thought in the first place.'

[My lord, Lady Jo can read minds, remember? Due to her nature, the Silver Moth was the one Specter every single Siren was wary of. I vented enough for all of you, so be happy with that.]

'This shitty AI…'

It took a good five minutes for the blows to stop. I didn't even bother to resist and just curled up like a ball. When it finally did, I opened my eyes to see my girls with refreshed faces. As if they did not just beat me. They pulled me up and began to wipe the dirt off my face.

"Darling, we won! We won! Won't attacking the capital be a piece of cake at this rate?"

"Jo, triumphing over the weak is not a worthy achievement. But it seems that ranks could not make up for battle experience. Africa seems like a paper tiger, wouldn't you agree, beloved?"

"The Phantoms are worse. I thought they would at least serve as training for the Aegis Division, but they barely lasted ten minutes. Honey, can you please tell these bitches that I should be allowed to fight Specters next time?"

"Well, technically, princes can only grow as much as their surroundings allow. It is obvious that those from the royal family were raised in a greenhouse. Although most of them are powerful rearguards, they are complete amateurs in close quarters. Was it the same for you, Anata?"

"Bloody oath, they were weak as fuck! As weak as the demon Nelle and I trashed earlier. I thought Africa was supposed to be full of strong cunts! Possum, where the fuck are they?"

"Robyn, I am certain only another Australian could meet your requirements. Dearest, our faction, along with Kaziema wishes to come here using the gate; you allow them?"

"Husband, are you all right? Does it still hurt?"

Amazed at how quickly my girls shifted gears, I tried to answer their questions.

I took and kissed Jas's hand, which she placed on my cheek as I answered.

"I am fine, Wifey. Thank you for worrying." I then addressed the rest of the Sirens.

"Everyone, I think Aki is right. Just because the princes were trash doesn't mean the rest of Africa's Specters are. Someone is keeping the demons at bay. Probably not this group, but they are around. We should still be careful. But I agree with Jo. Everyone was awesome!"

Next I looked at my Honey. Her request was tricky. Physically she was the weakest, but the buffs our group gets should raise her abilities. [Pride's Shield] was a second life on top of {Rewind}. Against weaker Specters, Bella should be able to hold her own.

"I also agree with Bella. While I worry, her power, along with the Aegis Division, is enough to contend with low-rank Specters. Once even they get Fakers, the soulless won't be as helpless. I believe it is safe enough for her to fight Specters on her own."

My Brazilian bombshell nodded and smiled in glee. As there was no one more overprotective of them than I was, my words determined the risks I allowed the girls to take. It was a bit controlling, but the Sirens accepted it as part of my affection.

My recognition gave Bella's link a surge of positive emotions. It made me feel a bit complicated. Finally, I turned to Lilly as I answered her question.

"Please let them come here, Lilly. We should prepare to move on the capital as quickly as we can. The sooner we can get everyone to stand down, the better. Jo, can you also make the enthralled princes come here as well?"

"I understand, Dearest; they have just entered Gate Number Two and will be here shortly."

"Okay! I had all of them enter Gate Number Three, Darling! Herman and Carlos are with them too!"

"Thank you both," I said in appreciation.

I walked toward the crater and saw the heavily injured Specter. I jumped into the hole and slid towards the leader of the Reformists faction.

'Exa, {Restore} rounds on Ivory.'

[Done.]

"Ivory."

Pulling out my .45 USP Match, I aimed the gun at Tshilumba's head and shot him. His body began to sprout flesh snakes that began to piece together and regenerate itself. Within a few seconds, he regained consciousness.

"I-I'm alive?" he murmured in passing.

"Yes, now get out of the hole before I shoot you again."

"Why? Why didn't you kill me? I am weaker. I was part of the army meant to attack your kingdom. Why did you let me live? Are you not afraid that I will seek revenge?"

I knelt down and grabbed him by the shoulder.

"In case you do. Make sure you kill me. Because if I somehow survive, I will butcher you, everyone you love, everything you own, and I will heal you back just so I can keep killing you for all eternity. If you want a shortcut to all that, hurt one of my girls. And I guarantee a worse fate than what I just promised."

"…"

Within seconds, the Scorpion Warlock shifted back to his human form. I was expecting him to be nude, but he somehow regained his suit.

"How the fuck do you do that?" I gasped in surprise.

"Huh? You mean my clothes?"

"Yeah, didn't you rip them apart earlier?"

Tshilumba looked at me with furrowed brows for a good few seconds. Then he shook his head before he answered.

"It's a material made from monsters from our 15th floor. Silk from the Arachne, it functions similarly to a soul arm. They can be recreated using soul, so long as the core isn't destroyed."

"Wow, that is amazing!" I praised. If I didn't have {Auto}, I probably would have wanted such material for my clothes.

"You… how can you chat with me like this when we were trying to kill each other just a few minutes ago?"

"I have no quarrel with you. My only target is Onye and his faction. If you stay out of my way and do your duty as a Reaper, you are my ally."

"You are quite—peculiar."

"I get that a lot, now let's go. I'm on a strict timeline," I said as I stretched out my hand.

The prince hesitated for a moment before taking my hand. I pulled him up and leapt out of the hole. He followed me out a few seconds later. When we returned to the surface, I saw a lot more familiar faces. Amari and the 3rd faction all gazed in amazement.

Olamide and the five princes we rescued walked toward me before saluting.

"Congratulations on a splendid victory, my lord. Lady Minerva allowed us to see from the screens at the base. Your majesty and valor are worthy of legends."

I waved my hand as I replied, "Stop it, Olamide; I hate people fawning over me."

"Ah, I apologize, my lord."

But then another voice abruptly joined our conversation.

"Olamide? You're alive? How? I heard you died an honorable death in Kismayo?"

The brothers met each other's eyes, but I felt neither warmth nor respect.

"Brother Tshilumba. Those are just lies spun by the royal chief. They implanted a Tokoloshe on not just me but five of my other siblings. We all would be dead if not for our lord, Limitless."

"I see." Tshilumba then turned to me and bowed his head. "Limitless, thank you for saving my brothers. They are the future of our continent; Africa owes you much for their lives."

Well, that was unexpected. So, he was truly a patriot? His body language seemed to be sincere.

"Don't mind it, I save them for the same reason I didn't kill you. Ah, but there was one I killed. The prince who could turn into a giant boar. I forgot what his name was; he threatened to rape my harem, so I tortured him till he went insane, then I ground him into dust."

Just remembering the bastard put me in a foul mood, so much so that I couldn't stop the death resonance from leaking out of my body.

"Ah, sorry about that. Anyway, let's go," I called to them.

Although I confessed to murdering their brother, the African princes didn't say a word. They all just silently followed. I walked towards where my girls were. Only to see a severely injured woman with a bloated face from swelling.

"Is that…"

"AMARA!"

Tshilumba quickly ran toward his lover. The girls ignored him and met me. The disgusting state of the one beautiful Specter was disturbing. But as I needed Tshilumba sober, I asked the girls despite the risks.

"My Kindred, do you mind if we heal the Specters back? I kind of need to talk to them."

"…"

Their cold glares caused chills to crawl up my spine and the hairs on my body to stand on end.

"U-Uhm. I don't actually care about her, but you know. So that we can discuss it with the reformists? Please?"

The girls then lost their frowns as they began to smile. They giggled and pulled out their secondaries. Then, they shot Amara in the head with {Restores}. Tshilumba got caught off guard but was stopped by his brothers from blocking the rounds.

Lilly, Jo, Jas, Aki, and Robyn all had pistol calibers ranging from .22 LR, 9mm, and .45 ACP. The problem was Bella and Liv. Bella fired 500 S&W, while Liv's secondary was a 10-gauge shotgun. Naturally, despite the healing, Amara's head once again detonated into a bloody mess.

'Sigh, yanderes…'

[My condolences, my lord.]
