Lord Game: I Have 100 Million Talents-Chapter 163 - 105: Please Select Your Identity Card: Yurik Priest, Necromancer, Curse Singer?
[Number of attackers in this wave: Twenty Zero-star (Red) level Void Creatures!]
Damn!
’The difficulty just shot up like that?’
’Making five Divine Chosen Soldiers face off against twenty Zero-star (Red) level Void Creatures head-on?’
’And then I’ll have to fight even more Zero-star (Red) level Void Creatures after this?’
Dammit!
If it weren’t for the fact that Sielo Knights are absolute monsters with all Four-dimensional Attributes above 900, plus their insanely Heaven-defying skill mechanics, I might’ve faced a total party wipe today, even if I’d brought five Desert Wolf Cavalry with Wing Connection!
Oh!
No, wait! If these Void Creatures are powerful enough, then even the invincible Sielo Knights could suffer losses when surrounded by several times their number of same-tier enemies!
At this thought, Qin Feng stopped hesitating. He immediately took out the Proof of Reincarnation he had just obtained, preparing for a new class change to temporarily boost his personal combat strength.
[Yurik Battle Priest: To become a Wolf Priest means becoming a champion of Yurik...]
[Necromancer: While many Dark Mages serve immortal Vampires, research into death and undeath had actually begun long before Vampires appeared. All Necromancers spend their entire lives researching how to achieve immortality. Ultimately, they came to one conclusion: Vampires are nothing more than a relatively successful failure.]
[Curse Singer: They have a deep and mysterious connection to Aisloron and can merge with the forest through ancient rituals, gaining a shared consciousness similar to that of a Forest Essence... Low-level Curse Singers can hear the whispers of the forest and communicate with the earth, while high-level ones possess the power to reshape the forest. They can build homes or destroy enemies. They are both excellent artists and powerful Mages, shouldering the responsibility of communicating with the outside world.]
Okay!
’Thirty seconds!’
’I have to quickly pick a Legendary Profession that can solve my current problem and also give me a significant advantage in the future!’
’Which one should I choose?’
First off.
I’ll skip the Yurik Battle Priest.
Its core strength is dealing massive melee AOE damage.
But both the Necromancer and the Curse Singer are noble ranged AOE Mages. Not only can they deal AOE damage, but they can also stay out of harm’s way.
Second.
The Necromancer can use Undead Magic to summon an Undead Army. After a battle, they can also gain a certain number of Undead Soldiers. It’s the Profession in the entire Middle-earth Warhammer Module that can command the most troops, specializing in Sea of People Tactics.
However, its active Big Move is a bit trash. It summons and controls a designated Necromancer Champion, while the main body becomes an immobile, unconscious husk.
Such a huge casting cost.
And yet, the Necromancer Champion is just an elite mook that can be quickly cut down by a few grunts.
It’s definitely one of the worst Big Moves in the Middle-earth Warhammer MOD.
Furthermore, in the late game, the overall combat power of the Undead Army is too weak. They’re basically just living punching bags for other Professionals and heroes to farm stats on. A few magic Big Moves can easily wipe out hundreds or even thousands of skeletons.
It’s a back-row commander Profession that has an easy early-game development and an easy mid-game army-building phase. But the actual fighting is boring with no real skill expression, and it has absolutely no ability to go in and be Unrivaled.
Also, the spells the Necromancer wields aren’t very powerful. You don’t get the satisfaction of clearing the screen with one shot; you can only coordinate with the Undead Army to chip away at the enemy’s health.
Finally.
The Elf Race Mage.
The Curse Singer.
It starts with the basic spell "Beast Life" and can also choose one of four starting bonus spells: Fire, Light, Heaven, or Metal magic.
Later on, it can learn Dark Magic and High Magic.
Its personal combat power far exceeds that of a Necromancer.
Additionally.
After every battle.
They can also recruit a group of Tree Demons to fight for them.
It’s just that, in the game, these Tree Demons are total trash. They’re just meat-shield cannon fodder meant to draw aggro.
If you don’t use auto-resolve and actually fight the enemy head-on, they’re even more useless than the Undead Soldiers summoned by a Necromancer. In a one-on-one fight, the Undead Legion would mop the floor with them.
However, in the very late game, the Curse Singer can summon the most ridiculous soldier type in the entire game: the Tree Giant Beast.
It has super high damage output, an incredibly tough body, all of its attacks are AOE, and it can easily solo-clear hundreds of top-tier soldiers from other factions.
In other words.
The Curse Singer and the Necromancer are polar opposites.
One is fun to play in the early game with easy development, but its late-game power is mediocre. Its army is numerous but not particularly strong.
The other is mediocre early on, even a bit of a grind. Development is troublesome, but in the late game, not only can you go on a killing spree yourself, but you can also summon the heaven-defying super-soldier, the big daddy Tree-man.
"Hiss..."
’This is a tough choice...’
’The core concept of both professions is pretty much the same...’
’They’re both summoner-type builds...’
After hesitating for a long time, Qin Feng remained undecided between the Necromancer and the Curse Singer. It wasn’t until the final three-second countdown began that he made his choice.
[Proof of Reincarnation consumed. You have obtained a new Legendary Profession—Necromancer!]
[Professional Attributes]
[Extremely high conversion efficiency for the Spirit Attribute; extremely low conversion efficiency for Agility, Strength, and Constitution Attributes!]
[Necromancer Skills]
[Necromancy Theory Mastery (Passive): The higher your Necromancer Level, the more damage your Undead Magic deals. Each time you summon undead units with Undead Magic, their numbers and overall quality will be greater.]
[Magic Mastery (Passive): Your spellcasting skill is greatly enhanced, raised to Legendary Level proficiency. You can cast spells efficiently at extremely high speeds without needing to speak the incantations aloud.]
[Awakening the Dead (Active): Activate the Necromancy "Awakening the Dead" to summon a large number of undead units to fight for you at once. Their quantity and quality are directly affected by the "Necromancy Theory Mastery" Talent and can also be boosted by the effects of other Talents and skills!]
[Book of the Dead (Passive): Non-magical in nature, not affected by the "Necromancy Mastery" Talent... After each battle, 10% of the corpses of enemy soldier units will be randomly resurrected. The resulting Undead Soldiers do not consume Food and can fight day and night. However, their combat power level will be reduced by three tiers, to a minimum of Zero-star (White) level. They will not retain their original skills and traits, and will have the exclusive promotion path for Undead Soldiers from Middle-earth Warhammer.]
[Kadang’s Secret Technique (Passive): Your maximum Magic Power is increased by 30%, all Casting Costs are reduced by 20%, and your undead units’ melee damage is increased by 10%.]
