Lord Game: I Have 100 Million Talents-Chapter 91 - 73: Gluttony’s Chosen! Zero-star (Red)
Just as Qin Feng and Diablo were conferring in low voices, the distant Obsidian City Gate of the Ancient City suddenly let out a grinding roar of gears. As the heavy gates slowly swung open, a group of Kobolds clad in black armor marched out in formation.
It was plain to see.
These were the elite troops of the Kobolds.
The weapons in their hands were no longer crudely made Black Crystal Short Blades, but a uniform set of Divine Gift weapons gleaming with a cold light. The blades were engraved with Spells that had not been completely worn away.
Scale-like black armor covered all their joints, and a dark red, bloody light seeped from the gaps between the plates. Their defensive strength was actually no less than that of the Withered Leaf Tribe’s Black Crystal Armor.
What was even more startling was the figure at the front of the formation.
That Kobold lord, wearing a Twisted Bone Crown, was over three meters tall, and the shadow it cast nearly covered half the city gate.
Its shoulder guards were inlaid with a bleeding Evil God Totem. Every breath it took made the air ripple, and the tyrannical aura emanating from its body was almost tangible, even causing spiderweb-like cracks to form on the hard ground beneath its feet.

[Description: King Dorah, the Kobold leader who worships the God of Gluttony. Having won the god’s favor, he became a Gluttony Champion Warrior and received Divine Chosen equipment via a Divine Descent...]
’Holy crap!?’
’What kind of monster is this!?’
’It has unparalleled physical attack power, plus a Double Resistance Defense twice as strong as a Valkyrie’s. The only thing it’s missing is Magic Talent, so it can’t cast any Magic at all!’
’Oh!’
’Right!’
’This thing’s movement speed is also faster than a Valkyrie’s!’
’Although the conversion from its Agility Attribute doesn’t give it much speed—so it still can’t match speed-reliant units like the Forest Wolf and Desert Giant Wolf—it’s already much faster than a typical infantry unit!’
’In other words... this thing can easily catch up to the Ratman Warriors, then use that Champion’s Axe in its hands to pound them into meat paste!’
’Including me!’
’Even with the 50% speed bonus from the forest terrain!’
’At this stage, I can’t outrun this three-meter-tall behemoth at all!’
So, almost instantly, Qin Feng made a major decision—to invest all his Dragon Crystals into "Evil Aura" and boost its movement speed bonus.
[You have consumed 5 Dragon Crystals to upgrade "Evil Aura" to Level 2. This upgrade has affected "Movement Speed"!]
[You have consumed 5 Dragon Crystals to upgrade "Evil Aura" to Level 3...]
[Evil Aura (LV10): Within a 100-meter radius, you, all troops under your command, and allied forces gain a 100% increase in movement speed and restore 1 Life Value per second... Subsequent upgrades to this Talent will cost 10 Dragon Crystals each and can be used to increase the effective range, movement speed, or Healing amount.]
Phew.
’A 100% movement speed bonus!’
’Now my men and I can finally run faster than that King of Kobolds!’
’We won’t get caught so easily and smashed to bits with one swing of its axe!’
"Lord?"
"What’s wrong?"
"Did something happen?"
Hearing this, Qin Feng glanced at the bewildered Diablo, and then it clicked. Diablo didn’t have his "Eagle Eye" Talent, so he hadn’t yet seen the Kobold army that had just marched out of the city.
By the same token, the elite-equipped Kobold guards and that ridiculously powerful Kobold Evil God Hero couldn’t see the specific location of Qin Feng and his group, either.
And so, a bold plan began to form in his mind.
’Kiting!’
’Attack-moving!’
’Slowly wear down this Zero-star (Red) Gluttony’s Chosen and kill it!’
Having made up his mind, Qin Feng unreservedly shared the long-range view he had just observed, along with the battle plan he had conceived, with Diablo.
Originally, Qin Feng’s plan was to go over and "walk the dog" by himself.
Since Diablo and the other Ratman Warriors couldn’t be of much help, they would first retreat from this dangerous area to protect Long Zhongyi and the others, who were about to reach the underground mining district.
But Diablo specifically mentioned that the underground mine was filled with a labyrinth of tunnels dug by the Kobolds themselves, and that these intricate paths might hide secret shortcuts leading directly to the Ancient City.
Following that, Diablo analyzed the risks of Qin Feng acting alone. If he went deep by himself, he would very likely be surrounded by enemies in the winding tunnels. He would find himself caught in the predicament of "two fists being no match for four hands" and could be worn down to exhaustion by an endless stream of Kobold grunts.
Based on this, Diablo suggested that Qin Feng keep these Ratman Warriors by his side. They could move together in a close-protection formation to ensure they could avoid risks like being completely surrounded by the enemy army while kiting.
