Meanwhile in Davina, the trail continued like before. The members all waited for Shanz response who didn’t open his mouth until now. Facing all the questions from those members, Shanz was lost in his thoughts for a while before lifting his eyes to face the members. Jessie was sat in stiff. After the question was directed to Shanz, she was a bit nervous since she was so mean to him.

Would he seek revenge on her?

Shanz asked back calmly, his lips streching into a small smirk,

" What does the punishment say according to your law?"

The members were bit surprised and one of them explained enthusiastically,

" Your Highness! Since nothing massive has happened, at most she can get two months in prison."

Jessie stared up at Shanz uncomfortably. It would have been a white lie if she admitted that she wasn’t scared about his decision. Shanz took his own sweet time in considering her punishment. Extending his hand, he grabbed the red wine and brought it between his lips to taste leisurely. Sinking in more deep thoughts, his golden eyes pushed up to glance at Jessie before pursuing his lips slowly,

" Jessie Arnaldo Dixon is an honorable woman. It would be a shame if I put her in prison. How about she serves in my castle for 2 months as a caretaker?"

" NO!!", Jessie yelled, standing up in shot. Her fists clenched on her sides, ready to pounce at Shanz whose offer made her blood boiling.

Shanz stared back at lazily, his golden eyes shining with innocence. Before he could return her any answer, one of the member rebuked sharply, raising his voice to be heard by others,

" Keep your voice down, Lady! Our highness is generous enough to not put you in dungeon. How can you be so disrespectful to him? Do you think that a prison is better place than this castle? Besides, it’s your fault to do crime repeatedly."

Jessie clenched her teeth hard, her eyes glaring down at Shanz whose expression remained unreadable. He was enjoying his own time of drinking.

Then the member turned his attention to Shanz before asking,

" Are you sure about this, you want, your highness?"

Shanz nodded his thoughtfully. His expression didn’t seem changed when he spoke again,

" Yes! An arrogant woman like her needs to learn her lesson through hard work and compassion. Prison isn’t her place to learn anything. It won’t wash her arrogance way. Besides, I have great tendency in teaching my servants."

Shanz finished his words with a grin. The members all nodded in agreement as they discussed among themselves for a few seconds. After finalization, one of them spoke on their behalf, pulling his eyes up at Jessie,

" Princess Jessie, we are agree with the second option. It’s better that you serve in the castle in order to repay."

Jessie slammed her hand on the table, startling the members who were all staring at her. Her voice howled in rage and anger,

" No way! I don’t accept it. I am not going to live in this castle."

Jessie breathed hard, knowing very well that she had to face if she stayed in this Castle.Rumors said that Shanz bedded new woman every single day. If she stayed here, she was afraid that her emotions would come out and she would up doing something that she didn’t want ever.

The member who spoke to her first gave her a strange glare. Cocking his head to her side, he replied in fury,

" You have two options here, Princess Jessie either go to prison or serve in this castle. The choice is yours!"

Jessie felt her body trembling in anger. The prison was not her favorite place absolutely. All those stingy smell made her stomach filling in disgust. Even she was very sensitive about cleaning. Jessie always hated to stay inside dirt.

Two months in Prison! She would die from those stingy smells!

After giving it a deep thought, her lips parted reluctantly, her face turning sullen before speaking,

" I...I choose the second one but I must return to my palace once I am done serving."

Shanz whose smirk grew bigger stood up from his position to reply politely,

" Of course, I never back away from my words. You are welcome to leave after completing your tasks."

The members looked pleased with his decision and stood up to leave with a smile on their faces,

" It’s settled then. Allow us to leave, your Highness!"

Shanz gave them a small nod and they proceeded to leave after sending their last glares to Jessie. After all of them left, they faced together under the candle light without speaking a single word. Jessie who was deadly frozen at her position didn’t know how to react in this situation.

On the other side, Shanz smiled before turning around to leave when he heard Jessie’s vulnerable voice,

" Why did you do this to me?"

Shanz looked through his shoulders and saw Jessie’s teary eyes when she spoke to him. Coming out from the chair, Jessie continued speaking without holding back anymore,

" You know very well that I don’t want to share the same roof with you. Then why did you suggest this, Prince Shanz? I am so damn tired of your sick game. Tell me Why!"

Jessie’s voice raised at her last words as she demanded for answer angrily. Shanz who was calm so far finally turned himself around to face Jessie whose eyes were accusing him. His lips curved up into a smirk as he rolled his words out emphasizing,

" Because I haven’t hurt you enough, Jes. I want to make sure that you take my name even when you cry!"

Jessie lifted her hand immediately to slap across his face but it was grabbed midway abruptly. She gnashed her words out,

" You are a sick bastard, Shanz."

Shanz smirked dropping her hand down to step back,

" Yes, I am not sick enough with you. Let’s make it fair, shall we?"
