Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 535: The Unexpected Pain
Meanwhile, Cedric had just learnt about Jessie’s going through some trail. It was no secret that Cedric was possessive over his sisters. He would rather let himself killed than watching them getting hurt in his absolute knowledge. His fierce footsteps freaked out Frenchies who was facing a series of queries.
" Why didn’t you go with her, damn it?"
" How dare they call her for trail?"
Cedric roared starting from his personal office to all the way to the corridor angrily. Frenchies replied truthfully, keeping his head bow in respect,
" She didn’t let us go with her, my Lord."
Cedric halted in his track to glare back at Frenchies who was also worried for Jessie,
" Still, you could have followed her secretly. She doesn’t know what dangers can be there. Every single person from Davina loath us to death."
Before Cedric could vent more of his anger, Ayra’s voice interrupted them,
" Frenchies, you go!"
Turning, Cedric saw Ayra standing with her pale demeanor. Her face had lost some color and it heavied the guilt in his heart.
Was she having too rough reaction from the medicine?
Frenchies nodded his head obediently before turning back to leave them alone together. Cedric parted his lips to speak something but Ayra spoke first, getting closer to him,
" Sister Jessie is capable of protecting herself. She is mature enough to make her own decisions. If she does think that she should face the trail session alone, you shouldn’t interfere."
Cedric growled dissatisfying, raged over Shanz who broke his sister’s heart once,
" Shanz isn’t a good person, Princess. What if he does something bad..I won’t.."
" He won’t!", Ayra cut off his words, looking deep into his eyes meaning. Curling her lips up slightly, she continued with a small smile,
" Both of us know that he won’t do anything bad to sister Jessie. You know that too."
Cedric huffed before looking away into the darkness. Ayra continued with a soft and coaxing voice,
" Don’t turn her into an emotionless person by fueling with your hatred, anger. Let her do whatever she wants! By the way, can I ask you something?"
Cedric turned his face at her way and gestured with his chin to ask her to continue. Ayra parted her lips hesitantly before saying,
" I..I heard that Debisa isn’t seen anywhere. Can we do something else just to see that he is okay out there?"
Cedric blowed up in anger and dismissed her words instantly,
" We have ended this discussion, Princess. I have freed him on myself. I don’t hold any liability on him anymore. Don’t get yourself into unnecessary troubles."
Ayra opened and closed her mouth without saying anything. She should have guessed this outcome since Cedric was mad at Debisa. Changing the subject, Cedric asked with a pained expression,
" Are you feeling okay? You look.. so pale.."
Ayra shook her head smiling,
" Nothing! I am okay, just feeling stomachache before the evening."
Cedric hummed looking away to whisper something,
" Go back to sleep early! I will be coming late!"
Ayra nodded without noticing the guilt, morphing into his eyes.

Later after the hour, Elizabeth appeared with the book in Ayra’s home and found Ayra sitting in daze over the bed. She actually thought that Cedric would take part in finding Debisa but he flew in rage as soon as she talked about Debisa.
On the other hand, Elizabeth was worrying for Ayra who felt stomachache occasionally. Taking consideration of her health, Elizabeth suggested tapping on her shoulder,
" Princess, we can skip doing this later. You don’t look okay to me."
Ayra rubbed on her belly, mumbling before getting up,
" It’s just stomachache, Elizabeth. I will be fine but the sooner I can find Debisa, it’s better. I don’t want anything bad happens to His Highness because of me. Did you find the place to perform the ritual?"
Elizabeth nodded and replied slowly,
" Yes! The lake behind this castle. I heard that no stuffs go there usually. Maybe, we can do that there better."
Ayra nodded and picked up the coat to wrap it on herself. Taking a long deep breath, she spoke calmly,
" Let’s go!"
Minutes afterwards, the two went behind the palace from where Ayra could see a small lake. Looking back at the palace, she saw no one around the corner which meant that they didn’t come at this place at night. Walking side by side, Elizabeth noticed Ayra’s weak step as if she had difficulties in taking steps to the lake.
Elizabeth again suggested, looking at her with worry filled eyes,
" Princess, let’s not do this today. You look pale."
Ayra shook her head again, continued striding forward,
" No, I..I am fine. Walk faster."
Not longer after that, her stomach returned and this time, it was more fierce and painful then before. At the same time, she felt something building into her stomach, similar to the phase before having her monthly period. Her pace halted abruptly and she let out a painful groan which scared Elizabeth. Her hands went over to her stomach straight subconsciously.
Elizabeth panicked dropping the book anxiously,
" Princess, what happened to you? I told you let’s not do it today. Are you feeling sick?"
Ayra breathed hard through her pains, small groans escaping from her mouth. Pressing her hands hard on her stomach, she sutured weakly,
" I..I don’t understand.. It feels as though I will be having period anytime soon.."
Elizabeth murmured pushing Ayra’s hairs to one side carefully,
" But the pain seems too much for you. What happened to you all of sudden? I never saw you having so much pain before. Should we go back?"
Elizabeth kept inspecting Ayra in case she was hurting somewhere else but she didn’t get any clue behind her pain.
Ayra parted her lips to say something but before she could give her any response, her knees went off and she was crunched on the ground. At the same time, she felt a hot liquid slipping from her thighs.
