Chapter 592: Demon Ashua

Ayra postponed her search for a while. Even though Elizabeth suggested her to continue searching, she couldn’t risk Elizabeth’s safety. Ayra came out of the room, stopping at the entrance to ask Elizabeth again,

" Where did you see it?"

Elizabeth muttered, pointing at the room, right opposite of the room that they were looking for. The room was on the other side, separated by the center space of the mansion. The rows were in a round shape. Hence, one could see the other room from the opposite side pretty clearly. When Elizabeth was guarding the corridor, she clearly felt someone watching from the piano room. Thanks to her quick vision, she saw a shadow passing inside the room even from a distance. However, no movements were heard or spotted by her after the shadow passed.

Ayra furrowed at the opened room opposite of them, whispering while attempting to go,

" I will take a look."

Elizabeth stopped her, grabbing onto her arms and urged anxiously,

" No, Princess! This place is new. We probably don’t know what is hiding. You should find your journal first. Don’t worry about it. I might be delusional."

Ayra pondered over her words and didn’t feel at ease at all. They weren’t humans who would get delusional dreams so easily. But the most important task was to find the journal now. Ayra agreed reluctantly and went back to the chamber to find the journal again.

This time, she didn’t delay with her search and kept searching all the places, not leaving any single spot. Finally, she saw the yellow walled journal, laying inside the drawer just like Siemus said.

Her breathing finally became a little sober after she found the journal. Pulling it out, she hid it inside her clothes, using her own powerful magic. She didn’t want it discovered by anyone else including Elizabeth. She never knew what was hiding in the journal.

Ayra came out with a relieved smile, pushing Elizabeth to go outside,

" I have found it. Let’s leave this place. I don’t want to stay any longer."

Elizabeth nodded her head frantically, walking ahead not before peeking at the piano room again. She tore her eyes off from the room, padded her steps forward hurriedly. They went to the top floor again. Elizabeth used her wings to fly back to the Basarisk instead of getting on the local carriage again.

All this time, they didn’t know that each of their movements had been watched, observed.

IN THE DEMON’s REALM,

Hayden staggered into the dark castle, wailing all the way into it. His chest was throbbing in pain from the moment Ayra had used her knife to stab him. He couldn’t understand why a little knife stab would hurt him so much. His healing powers were failing against it.

He shouted from the top of his lungs,

" Demon Ashua!! Help!! Ashua!!"

His words weren’t even completed before he fell down on the floor, crippling in pain. Aside from his father, Ashua came on second in terms of powers but he was far more evil than any other demon. In fact, Demon king Ralph was evil as well until he met Jasmine who blossomed in his life like a flower then took away all the fragrance after she died.

Ashua came out after he heard the shouting. He was a tall, well built man. He looked like thirty but in reality, he was a hundred years old. After Ralph sealed him inside his castle, he couldn’t hunt any woman to stay young and alive for a longer time. It was only Hayden who came to meet him every now and then. Ashua passed all his evil thoughts inside Hayden successfully.

Ashua frowned, coming down to catch Hayden,

" Bastard!! What happened to you?"

Hayden muttered breathlessly, cursing,

" I..I was stabbed..by that hybrid... It’s not healing..help me.. healing.. It’s too painful..."

Ashua didn’t look any better after he heard those words. In his eyes, it was a shame to get stabbed by a woman. Gritting his teeth together, he helped Hayden to pull on the couch first. Then, he sat on the other side, placed his hand on the stabbing mark to judge the depth of the wound.

Ashua furrowed surprisingly to see that the wound wasn’t so deep. It only cut the first two layers of Hayden’s flesh. So, he couldn’t understand why Hayden couldn’t heal it naturally. He was probably mistaken. So, Ashua examined the wound for the second time and it stayed unchanged, causing him to worry again.

Exhaling, he attempted to heal the place. His hand aimed at the marking spot, not touching entirely and gave a few inches gap. Soon, black smoke came out from his palms, making their way into Hayden’s wound to cure the spot.

His powers successfully went inside but it didn’t get mixed. In a few seconds, those black smoke came out of the spot with a burst. Ashua jumped off in shock and stood up hastily. His eyes widened in surprise to understand what caused this to Hayden.

Hayden looked worried as well. He looked up at Ashua nervously,

" Why..why do you look so pale? What.. what happened to me?"

Ashua didn’t talk for a long while. He silently used his black smoke to enter into Hayden’s flesh again but it was backfired like the previous time. His lips parted to say something in horror,

" Hayden....your soul...is merged.. with someone... Your...life isn’t with you anymore...It has been merged.."

Hayden widened his eyes in shock and surprise. He literally shouted, holding the other side of his chest,

" What.. what do you mean?? Who did this to me? How can I not realize? Tell me, Ashua!! Who did this to me? I will kill him with my own hands."

Ashua gave it a deep thought. Being the oldest demon of all time, he naturally had more knowledge than everyone. He muttered uncertainly, wondering the reason behind this merging,

" There’s.. only one person in the world..who can do this..as far as I know.."
