Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 599: The Hiding Part Two

Ralph seemed tensed as he knew that Hayden wasn’t joking around. If he could kidnap him, he could do things worse than this. He was prepared for this mentally. It was his fault to raise this demon who never bothered to show gratitude to his fatherly affection.

Hayden turned around to grasp the glass wall harder in order to hurt Ralph longer. However, before his plan could fulfill, a deep husky voice came from his back,

" Why do you choose this ugly place to hide always?"

Hayden’s hands froze midway, hearing the most unexpected voice here. Cocking his head behind, he saw a silhouette, sitting on the chair. His long black coat laid on the ground lazily, black smoke surrounded his surrounding. Hayden pursued his lips before blurting in disbelief,

" CEDRIC!!!"

Ralph heard the name in shock as well. He tilted his head up to look at the person. He still couldn’t believe that Cedric had actually come for him. Despite the excruciating pain in his body, his lips pulled up into a faint smile.

Cedric replied with a dark chuckle, getting down from the seat,

" Hello brother! I thought, you missed me here."

Hayden’s face grimaced in rage. Cedric never cared about Ralph. Why did he come here to save this old brat?

Hayden sneered at him in disgust, 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

" You...You shouldn’t be here, brother. I don’t think that it’s none of your business."

Cedric looked behind him in where Ralph was held captive. The old man looked miserable. Several bruises appeared on his dark skin that looked painful. Even though he really didn’t care about him, a small frown appeared between his temples. Cedric blurted, narrowing his gaze at Ralph,

" Neither he should be here too."

Hayden stomped forward, his eyes narrowing deeply at Cedric,

" Get the fuck out of here! This matter is just between father and son. Who are you to interrupt, Cedric? Who is he to you?"

Pain crossed across Ralph’s expression. He assumed the answer to be bitter and harsher. Cedric never showed any emotions to their bond nor did he try to fix it because Jasmine once said that in her heart, Cedric would be Oscar’s child always and forever.

If it was another time, Cedric wouldn’t bother to clarify the matter. But ever since Ayra entered in his life, he learnt how to treasure relationships. Just like the way, she started valuing him in her life.

Cedric stomped forward, his eyes turning black to show his demonic power,

" Because the woman who resides in your bloodline is the same woman who gave birth to me. You are no one to question my presence here."

His eyes then lowered down to fall on the soul sucking jade. His gaze hardened before asking sternly,

" Give the jade back to me, Hayden. It will end well."

Hayden sneered back with deep hatred, clenching the jade hard as he started barking at Cedric,

" Why the fuck do you care?? Cedric! It’s you who initiating fights without any reason. He isn’t your person. But if you badly want a fight..you are always welcome.."

Hayden blurted before aiming the jade towards Cedric. He wanted to trap and torture his soul too. Cedric saw through his intentions. When Hayden raised the jade, he disappeared in the air.

Surprised by his powers, Hayden looked around hastily in search of Cedric but suddenly something was pushed into his neck from behind. Too stunned, Hayden turned around to find Cedric with a silver knife in his hand. But it wasn’t a simple knife but the knife of the curse which was used to curse demons. He collected it long back. It could temporarily block Hayden’s powers.

Hayden stumbled backwards, growling as the jade slipped out of his hands,

" Cedric..how can you...I am your brother, after all."

He tried to play the pity rule here. However, Cedric was well known for his manipulation. He took a step forward to tell Hayden’s face sternly,

" And he is your father!!"

Ralph who heard those words couldn’t stop himself from tearing up. Today was probably the happiest day of his entire life. At least, Cedric showed that he cared for him. Not to mention, by hurting Hayden, he was putting himself in danger as well. But still, he came here to rescue him.

Hayden felt his powers fading slowly. When realization dawned over his sanity, his nostrils flared up in rage before telling Cedric loudly,

" You..you are trying to flatter him, don’t you? Because you want that demon throne. I get it, now! You have always loved to snatch everything from me including your wife who belonged to me. How many things do you want to take away from me?"

Cedric smirked at his frustrations and anger wickedly. Stepping forward, he replied on Hayden’s face, keeping his gaze straight into his,

" Because Ayra and the throne both belonged to me from the beginning. It is you who thinks that you deserve everything in this world. Get off from here before I break some of your bones."

Hayden was still in rage but since their powers couldn’t match, he could only disappear silently. As soon as he was gone, Cedric turned around to stride towards Ralph. Before that, he took the jade back from the ground and handed it over to Ralph. Without a word, he supported the old demon by his waist, and used his teleport skill to come back to the demon realm castle. In a few seconds, they were back in the dark demonic castle, surprising everyone around.

Once they were back in the castle, Cedric had all intention to leave him there without saying anything. Just when he attempted to leave the castle, Ralph finally talked. He couldn’t hold back his emotions this time. For once, he wanted to be his father in his life. Ralph’s hoarse pleading voice stopped Cedric who was about to go back to his wife,

" Ced.. Cedric...can..can I give you a hug? Please.."
