Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 628: Sweet Deal

Ayra held back her wail of pain as soon as the voice reached her ears. Even though she didn’t turn around, she recognized the beholder of the voice. Her face turned grim in tension. As soon as she turned, she met Hayden’s dark hooded eyes. He appeared much more refreshing than the previous time. She wondered what he was doing to stay young and healthy.

From her little knowledge, she learnt that a true demon needed a sacrifice to keep their lives going. As Cedric was a part demon, he didn’t need to necessarily kill. Ayra looked up at the sky. Arcabous was actually gone. The dragon really abandoned her here with this demon. Was she really so bad for the dragon?

Hayden teased, his voice sounding charming and playful,

" Tsk..even Dragons abandon you..Look at you! Our fate is united. No matter what our situation is, we are bound to meet again and again!"

Ayra clenched her teeth in anger. She couldn’t understand why he needed to go against Cedric every now and then. After all, they were brothers. Ayra snapped at Hayden, her gaze turning hard,

" What do you want, Hayden?? Why do you keep bothering me? I am your sister-in-law.. you shouldn’t be here and.."

Hayden cut her off, his voice turning hoarse and animalistic, 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

" Neither should you...You shouldn’t be with Cedric when you are supposed to be mine!"

Ayra became tongue-tied by his words. Hayden mentioned this before as well. She couldn’t understand the meaning of his words for real. Taking a deep breath, she answered his questions from her own knowledge,

" I don’t belong to anyone..I am a person and I can choose who I want to be with.."

Her response only brought a sinister laugh on Hayden’s lips. He crooked his head to the other side to tell maliciously,

" You are a creature, not a person, Princess! The fact that you chose this fate, you should be bound to follow the rules."

Hayden took a pause between his words. Taking a step forward, he added a stressed voice,

" You are coming with me today either by force or by nature! The choice is yours!"

Ayra’s face went pale from his possessive words. She wasn’t sure how much strength Hayden had now. But it was pretty obvious that she was weak. The pain on her left hand didn’t go yet. It came occasionally and she wasn’t sure how to stop the pain at once.

Panic rushed on her features. Hayden had already stretched his hands to grab Arya but right at that moment, the sky growled for a moment and the magnificent dragon landed down after clashing the trees around.

Hayden gasped hard in shock to see the dragon returning for Ayra. It wasn’t like he hadn’t tried to steal the dragons before. Hayden knew that the dragons were Cedric’s biggest strength. If he wanted to defeat Cedric, he needed to eliminate his strength one by one. His father, Ralph showed no consideration to pass him the demon throne.

Talking about the dragons, Debisa was easy to trick. Although he was ferocious as well, the dragon had a kind heart. As for Arcabous, he seemed calm but showed him the fierce sight. A dragon only became violent when he hated the person to death from a calming mood. Arcabous was longer than Debisa, and had faster power of spatting fire than Debisa. Only Hayden didn’t know that Arcabous had hidden powers as well.

Ayra’s eyes turned hopeful as soon as she saw Arcabous. She even noticed that Hayden seemed off after seeing the dragon. It was good since she still couldn’t believe that Hayden killed Debisa so cruelly. Ayra spoke to Arcabous affectionately, tears flowing in her eyes,

" Arcabous... don’t leave me... please save me... protect me... Arcabous..."

To her heart failure surprise, Arcabous wasn’t responsive. The dragon merely glanced between them as if he failed to understand what was going on here. When Hayden saw that Arcabous wasn’t serving Ayra, he let out a joyous laughter. He insulted Ayra, pointing at Arcabous,

" You fucking think that you have become a queen? Do you know the meaning of being a dragon queen? The dragon and dragon shifters all should be in your feet, lady. For what reason you want to stay there then? For Cedric, the manipulative king who tricked you to marry him when I was locked in that coffin?"

Ayra couldn’t say a word. Even though Hayden was triggering her anger, she understood that she wasn’t a good queen. Apart from the Royal family, she hadn’t performed any duties. Even the dragons hated her.

Was she really deserved this title?

Hayden continued, his one hand reaching out for his demonic sword,

" Since the dragon is no use of us, let’s kill it for Cedric. What do you say?"

Ayra quickly shouted back in response, stumbling up to stand in front of the dragon,

" DON’T..... please don’t..He is innocent..You have already killed his last family.."

Arcabous let out a low growl. However, he was still calm and composed as he didn’t know them at all. Hayden’s smirk only grew bigger. He replied looking down at his sword,

" Everything needs a price, my sweet princess!"

Ayra gulped hard at his question. Truth to be told, she was expecting this question from the beginning. Looking back at Arcabous, she recalled Debisa’s misfortune, the pain in Cedric’s eyes right after Debisa died even though he didn’t say a word.

Taking a deep breath, Ayra swallowed before breathing out her answer, her eyes lowering down,

" I will go with you only if you leave the dragon alive!"

Hayden’s face lit up immediately. Putting the sword back, he commented with a devilish grin,

" What a sweet deal you have offered! Come on, Princess! Finally you have made the right choice!"

Ayra bit her lips together tightly. Taking her steps forward, she began to go over to Hayden until Arcabous made an abnormal noise behind their back loudly
