Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 126: Alexis Is Fuming
On the way to Blackthorn Palace, Ronan met Lucas, who was also surprised to see the condition of the king and Princess Arielle.
"Your Majesty? What is going on?" asked Lucas, worried.
"I’ve been attacked by terrible creatures, so get out of the way. I want to clean myself up," Ronan replied curtly.
"But, Your Majesty... Princess Andrea and Prince Alexis are already preparing to depart."
Hearing the names of her two siblings, Arielle halted her steps. Ronan also stopped.
"My siblings are going home? But - I’m so dirty," said Arielle frantically.
Ronan chuckled when he saw her reaction. The truth was, Ronan felt annoyed that Arielle still wanted to meet her two siblings. The man turned Arielle’s body forcibly. "Put yourself first. They’re all grown up, there’s no need to send them home."
"But-"
Ronan put both his hands behind the girl’s knees and back, then lifted Arielle, who won’t continue walking back with him. Arielle let out a small scream in surprise. She hugged the five rabbits tightly so they wouldn’t fall and cause more chaos by littering the palace floor.
Ronan turned to Lucas. "Tell them both Arielle isn’t feeling well, so she can’t send them off, and I’m busy."
"I understand, Your Majesty," Lucas replied, taking the orders from the king. The man bent down and looked at the mud trail that Ronan had left on the marble floor of the Blackthorn palace.
After the king and Princess Arielle passed, only then did Lucas dare to look up and stare at the departure of the two with a strange look full of curiosity.
Although he was so curious about what had happened, Lucas still left his place to carry out the orders from the king.

Alexis looked at Tania sharply. The woman bowed her head in fear because she couldn’t give him what he wanted. While Andrea was humming, waiting for some maids to bring out the suitcase containing her clothes.
"You said Arielle was sick?" asked Alexis in a threatening tone.
"That’s what Sir Lucas said, Your Highness."
"And when I tried to visit her, you held me back too. You know who you were talking to, Tania?"
Tania clenched her fists. Her jaw stiffened with emotion. Even so, Tania slowly lowered her body and sat kneeling on the floor.
"Princess Arielle is sick, and His Majesty King Ronan forbids everyone to see her."
"Arielle is from Nieverdell! As the prince from Nieverdell, I have the right to see my own sister’s condition! To hell with that order. Lucas is not the King of Nieverdell! His orders don’t apply to me."
Andrea, who had only been listening, let out a long sigh. For some reason, Alexis, who was known to be the most mature among her siblings, was getting very emotional here and this worried her.
Andrea didn’t want to make King Ronan see them in a negative light. She wanted to get positive attention from the king. If her brother was too temperamental, it would only make the South’s image worsen in King Ronan’s eyes.
"Brother, calm down. King Ronan must have a reason for doing this."
Alexis snorted hearing her. He glared at his sister.
"Since when did you start defending him?" said Alexis hatefully.
He looked at Andrea, who looked cheerful. Ever since she returned, she had been beaming. Alexis thought that Andrea had managed to meet Arielle, but his sister said she was actually meeting King Ronan alone.
Alexis couldn’t understand Andrea because she said that the man threatened her not to touch Arielle, but Andrea said it in such a happy tone that made Alexis confused.
His hatred for the man grew more intense when he heard Andrea was being threatened by the king. Alexis wanted to meet the man, but his sister quickly forbade him because she didn’t want to stir things up.
Now that Alexis wanted to meet Arielle, he was again intercepted for a strange reason. The last time he saw Arielle was at the hunting party when she escorted King Ronan to the forest.
Last night, King Ronan and Arielle also didn’t join the celebration party and Alexis was sure that his sister was spending time with the man. He even saw Lucas, the man who always escorted her, enjoying the night with the king’s personal bodyguard.
This meant that both had been released from duty. Alexis’ confidence was confirmed because when he insisted on visiting Arielle’s room, her maid said that Arielle was not in her room.
Alexis was getting grumpy. He pulled his hair out of frustration. He just wanted to make sure Arielle wasn’t touched by that man! Arielle must return to the South as expected!
Duke Pellington had been waiting for news of his sister, and what was Alexis supposed to say? There was no way he could say he saw Arielle spending the evenings with the king of Northendell during his visit to the North.
Alexis was fuming! He wanted to drag Arielle back to the South right now!
"Brother, look at you. Since returning from the forest yesterday, you look very restless. You are the crown prince. Act calm as usual," said Andrea, grabbing her brother’s arm.
Andrea invited Alexis to go to the balcony and closed the balcony door. They left Tania alone, who was still sitting kneeling on the floor. Tania tried her best to sharpen her hearing but couldn’t hear anything because of the loud crackling of the fire in the fireplace.
Andrea smoothed her brother’s thick coat and smiled gently.
"From the threats I received, I am increasingly convinced that there must be an unusual relationship between Arielle and King Ronan. But brother, it would be best if we pretended not to know for now. Do you want to separate the two?" Andrea said to Alexis.
She added, " I, too, have the same strong desire to separate Arielle and King Ronan, but we can’t do it by force. We have to do it in a subtle way. Maybe now King Ronan will do whatever it takes to keep Arielle in the North. So... we have to make Arielle be the one to ask to return to the South. We still have plenty of opportunities if we want to think about it with a cool head."
