Chapter 307: Morning Hell For Ronan

Arielle looked at the man doubtfully. "Would that make you happy?"

"Of course," replied Ronan in a hoarse voice.

Ronan brushed Arielle’s long hair which was hanging down to the back. His breath quickened when he saw Arelle’s soft lips were about to touch the tip of his manhood.

But when the girl’s face was only inches away, a knock on the door made Ronan curse loudly.

"Fucking hell!"

Arielle straightened herself and turned towards the door.

"You don’t have to worry about it. We can still continue," said Ronan, grabbing Arielle’s head to focus on his manhood again.

Arielle glanced at Ronan briefly and nodded. However, after waiting with great anticipation, Ronan had to be angered by another knock on his goddamn door again.

"Your Majesty, sorry to interrupt your time. I’ve got news about Lazarus," said William from the other side.

"Can you just shut the fuck up!" shouted Ronan in annoyance.

Arielle and Crimson were taken aback by Ronan’s annoyed shout. The baby started to cry, making Ronan feel dizzier.

"Fucking hell," he cursed softly. With anger, he pulled back his pants and reached for his clothes.

Arielle was still sitting on the bed in confusion. Ronan, who was putting on his jacket, stopped in front of Arielle.

"Sorry," he said softly then kissed Arielle’s forehead. "I didn’t mean to scream. I will apologize properly after I return."

Arielle squeezed her nightgown and nodded. After Ronan left, she cleaned her hands and cradled the baby who was crying after being surprised by Ronan’s scream earlier. She tried her best to stay calm.

Things happened way too fast, and Arielle was so confused.

She looked out the window and saw that it was already morning. Of course, Ronan had to get back to work. Arielle decided to go back to her room after changing into a dress.

Arielle finally met Tania when her maid was preparing breakfast for her. Tania’s brows furrowed when she saw Arielle’s face, which looked even redder than usual.

"Princess, are you sick?" asked Tania worriedly, then touched her hand on Arielle’s forehead.

Arielle shook her head. She was fine. However, Arielle still felt embarrassed remembering what she almost did in Ronan’s room. Tania kept asking about Arielle’s condition and the girl gave the same answer.

"I’m fine, Tania. I’ll clean myself up for a bit."

Even so, Tania’s worried look did not go away.

"Very well, Your Highness. I will take care of Crimson. I have also prepared the bath for you."

"Thank you very much."

Arielle handed Crimson to Tania to look after the baby for a while because she wanted to change her clothes. After changing clothes, Arielle returned to her room where Tania was. Tania must be feeding Crimson, she thought. When Arielle entered, she saw the baby was sitting on Sasha’s lap comfortably.

"Good Morning, Princess!" said Sasha cheerfully.

"Good morning, Sasha. You look really bright today."

Arielle sat in her chair to eat the breakfast Tania had prepared for her.

"Of course, I woke up very early. Lucas accompanied me for a walk around the garden to stretch the muscle in my legs and I came here right away when Lucas said the baby was awake."

Arielle was smiling from ear to ear seeing Sasha, who told her his activities with great enthusiasm.

"I heard you already gave her a name?" asked Sasha.

"Just a temporary name until Lazarus returns."

Sasha’s face suddenly became sad.

"I’ve heard it too," he replied, no longer excited.

The news in the royal palace spread before you could say knife. When Lucas came to give information last night, Sasha was asleep, so he didn’t hear it right away. It wasn’t too surprising, though, when the news spread like blazes among the palace staff. Even in Nieverdell, the maids and the servants gossiped so eagerly that the news could spread in one night.

Arielle’s face grew hot. She was grateful that she still hadn’t heard rumors about her having spent the night with the king.

"I will hit Lazarus if he doesn’t want to take responsibility!" said Sasha in between his annoyance.

Arielle chuckled as well as Tania, who was amused by Sasha’s rapid change of expression.

"So, what is this baby’s name, Princess?"

"I call her Crimson for now."

"Crimson?" Sasha tilted his body to get a better look at Crimson’s face.

"Yeah, because she has red hair and the blush on her cheeks is red, which is really cute."

Sasha chuckled as he touched Crimson’s cheeks, who was chewing the food that Tania had fed with her tiny gums. It made Crimson’s cheeks get puffed up, and Sasha couldn’t hold back his excitement.

"Tania, look! She has the same mole as me!" Sasha pointed at his right cheek.

Tania watched the two of them alternately, and it was true that they had the same mole in the exact same place. The mole was tiny and because Sasha had dimples, when he smiled, the mole often sank and became invisible.

"You guys also have the same beautiful red hair, as if you were destined to be brother and sister," said Tania, making Sasha laugh out loud happily.

The boy shook his head profusely. "I would love Crimson to be my sister but thinking about Lazarus being my father too, I think I’d better run away," replied the boy, making Tania laugh too.

Sasha was close to everyone in the palace, but only with Lazarus did he show his displeasure openly. Sasha had very high respect for the king who gave him the opportunity to live in the palace, for Kael who taught him how to fight so that he could become the greatest knight when he grew up, and also for William who had become a friend to converse with.

However... Lazarus had always treated him like a little mouse. Their first meeting made Sasha dislike the man. Lazarus blatantly ignored Sasha’s will to fight, didn’t listen to him when he spoke and teased Sasha to the point of making the boy almost cry.

As for Lazarus, seeing a child cry gave him satisfaction.

Sasha’s annoyance with Lazarus was deepened when the man suggested that Sasha should pretend to be a girl and wear a long dress while he was looking after Princess Arielle in Nieverdell.

Sasha still held a grudge, and he had no time to avenge it because his body had not fully healed yet.

"Oh, I also heard that your wedding preparations have officially started," said Sasha, making Arielle stop eating for a while.

"My wedding?" The girl turned to Tania.
