Chapter 348: Miss Dressrosa’s Warning

"How can you look so young, Miss?" Tania asked, then Miss Dressrosa blushed again.

"The key is staying away from men. Men are the source of misery!!!" cried Miss Dressrosa, making Arielle and Tania surprised.

For someone who always designed wedding dresses, Miss Dressrosa’s principles were the complete opposite.

"But you make wedding dresses?" Arielle asked in confusion.

"Of course, I made wedding dresses because I wanted to see my fellow women become beautiful women. I didn’t care about the groom at all. I’ll give all my might in making the dresses for the women."

Arielle did not want to comment. Everyone had the right to choose their own path in life. Perhaps, if Arielle continued to stay in the South, she would have the same mindset.

Her father and brothers hardly paid any attention to her. In the past, she had a fear of meeting men, but Ronan and the people of Northendell taught her something new.

And Miss Dressrosa also looked happy with her choice. The woman sincerely said that she was happy without a man.

Miss Dressrosa also finished the sketches she made. Tania helped her remove the veil from Arielle’s head, and the dress that was wrapped around the girl’s body. The door to the room was opened, startling Arielle. She held her dress so Tania wouldn’t take it off right away.

Ronan came in so casually. Miss Dressrosa put her hands on her waist while looking at the king with an annoyed look.

"Have you got an idea of what kind of dress Arielle will wear?" Ronan asked, then sat on the couch near Miss Dressrosa’s suitcases.

"Well, Your Majesty. My work time is not over. And as you can see, you’re interfering with my work."

From behind his mask, Ronan arched his eyebrows in disbelief. What did he do to interfere with the woman’s work? Ronan only came to visit and asked her future wife to have lunch together. He couldn’t be waiting at the door like Lucas, could he?

"If it’s not finished yet, then continue your work. I’ll just sit here quietly," Ronan said calmly.

"Your presence is an anomaly here. It makes me unable to concentrate."

"Just pretend I’m not here. It’s easy, right?"

Miss Dressrosa touched her tense neck. She took a deep breath, then laughed. Arielle felt bad for the woman. Miss Dressrosa’s laughter was not as sincere as it had been a while ago.

"Male and their stubbornness," the woman muttered in a very small voice. However, because Arielle stood beside Miss Dressrosa, she could hear the designer’s annoyance.

"Ronan, could you wait outside? I’ll get changed in a bit."

"Just do it. I won’t do anything."

"Youth... youth... I’m happy... I’m still in my youth... be patient and calm..." Miss Dressrosa murmured with a smile, then she fixed her afro hair.

Arielle glanced at Miss Dressrosa, who was tidying her suitcases. The woman approached her and asked Arielle to lower her head slightly. Arielle complied, and Miss Dressrosa gave the girl a peck on the cheek.

"I’m going to make an exquisite dress for the Northendell bride. Leave everything to me."

Ariel smiled and nodded. "Thank you for your time, Miss Dressrosa."

Ronan narrowed his eyes, then told Tania to carry Miss Dressrosa’s suitcase out of the room. Arielle was holding her dress that was only half worn. She then turned to face the mirror.

Ronan walked closer and touched Arielle’s exposed back. Arielle did not even raise her dress and let the man run his rough palms on her back.

"How come you invited me, but then told me to wait outside?" the man complained while kissing Arielle’s back.

"Well, I was just politely asking you out because I felt Miss Dressrosa was uncomfortable with your presence."

Ronan lowered Arielle’s arm, then bit the girl’s waist. Arielle’s face turned red, and she pressed her legs together as the man’s hand slipped into her dress. Ronan gave a lot of wet kisses on her back.

Arielle almost moaned when...

BAM!

The door opened violently, startling her half to death. Ronan straightened up and looked back to find Miss Dressrosa glaring at him.

"You! Your Majesty! Is a pervert! You shouldn’t have left any marks on Princess Arielle’s beautiful body! I will make her the most beautiful dress, but if you keep making Princess Arielle’s skin have red marks, then my designs will be in vain! You better keep your lust until the wedding is over! I don’t want the marks to ruin my work!"

Arielle immediately pushed Ronan’s head away and nodded in understanding.

"I-I understand, Miss Dressrosa."

"Whatever," Ronan said simply.

Tania and Lucas came after. With their heads down, they both dragged the woman out of the room and closed the door tightly.

***

Miss Dressrosa came out of the room after giving Ronan her warning. Meanwhile, Arielle tried to stay away whenever Ronan wanted to touch her again. She gave him a brief kiss to make him stop touching her.

"Ronan. Seriously, we have to stop it. We’re not in our room."

Ronan still brought his face closer to Arielle, asking the girl to kiss him again. "This room is closed, Arielle. No one will see us."

"But, Miss Dressrosa’s warning..."

"Just ignore it. The old lady is just envious."

Ronan grabbed Arielle’s body, and he pressed his body against hers. However, he stopped when he heard something strange.

Once again, Arielle’s stomach growled, making Ronan chuckle in amusement. "Are you that hungry, huh?"

Arielle covered her flushed face with her palms, and she nodded.

Ronan straightened his body and helped Arielle to put on her dress. The man stroked Arielle’s hair. "You worked hard today," he complimented her.

"Thank you," Arielle replied as Ronan helped her tie the ribbon behind her back.

Ronan asked Arielle to have lunch together. He didn’t use the dining hall that often because it was too spacious for two people. The dining hall would only be used when Ronan had guests. He preferred to eat in his office.

"Do you want to eat in my room?" Ronan asked.

Arielle thought for a moment, then shook her head. "I want to take you to the library you prepared for me." Arielle took the man’s hand and led him to the second floor where her library was.
