Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 357: The Separation
Morning came, and Sasha had no other reason to stay in the palace anymore. He gripped Arielle’s hand tightly as he watched the knights lift his belongings into the carriage that Viscount Ferdi had sent to pick him up.
Ronan didn’t come because he had to work. He only sent William and Kael to escort Sasha. Arielle, Tania, and Lucas were with the child, waiting for all the luggage to get into the carriage.
After one by one all his luggage were lifted on the carriage, Arielle had to let Sasha go. Sasha opened his carriage window.
"Take care of yourself," said Arielle.
"We will wait for your return. Take good care of Crimson."
He nodded. "Leave everything to me." Sasha looked around and found neither Ronan nor Lazarus.
Well, Sasha knew he wasn’t really that important for the king to come and see him off. Although they were friends, the king’s work was more important.
Besides, they would meet again in three weeks for the wedding ceremony. And... also, he didn’t see Lazarus. Maybe it was because they were not really that close, so Lazarus didn’t think of sending him off.
Arielle gave Sasha one last hug before closing the window again to keep the snow from getting inside. Tania, who had always been strong all this time, shed tears when Sasha waved his hand. Sasha felt the same way because... he would leave his friends.
After the carriage passed through the palace garden and the main gate, only then did Sasha close the curtain. However, while passing through the gate, the carriage suddenly stopped, and there was a knock on the window. Sasha opened the curtains to peek at who was knocking on his window.
Sasha really didn’t expect that it was Lazarus. The boy opened the window so Lazarus could speak.
"Hey, how’s the armor I gave you? Do you like it?" Lazarus asked.
Sasha patted his luggage, then nodded. "Yeah, very much. I will keep it well with Lord Kael and Lord William’s gifts."
"Glad to hear it."
The two of them then went silent. Lazarus cleared his throat. "There are still six months before you start school. I hope you study well. On your holiday, let’s meet again. I’ll take you to visit my ship."
Sasha raised his hand, asking Lazarus to stop talking. "Well, we’re not that close to seeing each other when I visit the palace later."
"What did you say?" Lazarus asked disapprovingly. "We’ve been taking care of Crimson together for the past few days, haven’t we? I volunteered to help your sister, changing her clothes, feeding her, or carrying her when she cried."
Sasha actually laughed out loud on the inside. Since when did Lazarus do everything voluntarily? Whenever Sasha told the man to take care of Crimson, Lazarus tried to run away from that task.
"I will say this just once. It’s nice to know you, Sasha," said Lazarus, making Sasha smile broadly.
"Yeah, nice to know you too, Lazarus, but that doesn’t mean I’ve erased my grudge when you made me wear women’s clothes while in the South." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
Now, it was Lazarus’ turn to laugh out loud. "Ah... well, you can get your revenge when you come back for a visit."
Sasha stretched out his hand, making Lazarus confused. He moved his chin, gesturing for Lazarus to accept his outstretched hand. Lazarus shook Sasha’s hand tightly.
"Take good care of Crimson," he ordered. Lazarus took a step back so Sasha could close the window again. That man just smiled as Sasha was waving his hand.

Arielle was back with her busy life. After escorting Sasha off, she had lots of things she needed to learn. Starting from learning the history of Northendell along with the names of the previous kings and queens, to the name of the kingdom that was conquered by Northendell to become a great kingdom .
Arielle found little information about the myth. What she learned was factual information, not fairy tales or stories. In the book she had read, the last kingdom Northendell conquered was the Birwick Kingdom.
The book didn’t write the story Priest Louise told her. It only recorded about the princess of the Birwick Kingdom’s marriage. It was written that in less than a year of her marriage, the king of Northendell divorced his concubine. That was it.
Time passed by. Lucas came to Arielle’s room to bring her lunch. That afternoon, Arielle did not meet Ronan. Lucas and William said that Ronan was busier than usual since morning.
She could also see the people in the palace looked busier, running back and forth. This was because the wedding was only a few weeks away, so all the preparations also needed to be done quickly.
After lunch, Arielle still had free time before she met with the royal treasurer to study finances again. Arielle used her time to visit the rabbits’ new cage. The rabbit cage was near Ronan’s stables.
Maybe this way, the cage keeper would take care of the rabbits. So far, Arielle had always trusted Lucas to feed the rabbits. Sometimes, she asked the maid to clean their poop when Arielle didn’t have time.
Arielle crouched down to hold Riel, who was showing an adorable face. The girl squinted her eyes to see that only Riel was wearing a red collar around its neck, while the other four didn’t wear collars.
"Oh, you are here, Princess?"
Arielle looked back to find Kael who had just brought his horse into the cage close to the cage for the rabbits.
"Good afternoon, Lord Kael."
"Good afternoon, Princess," Kael greeted back.
After tying his horse, Kael approached Arielle, who was still crouching near the pile of snow while playing with the rabbits.
"Don’t you feel cold, Princess?" Kael asked after he saw Arielle didn’t wear a coat.
The girl shook her head. "Looks like I’m getting used to this cold."
Kael stood awkwardly, then the man crouched beside Arielle while keeping his distance so as not to get too close.
"Princess, I heard you want to meet Aimee?"
Arielle nodded in agreement. Kael looked uneasy while scratching his hair.
