Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 486: Ronan Kept His Mouth Shut
Ronan breathed a sigh of relief. He hid his smile under his coat. Lazarus, who was sitting on the carriage seat in front of Ronan, saw how the man suddenly put on various expressions, making him confused.
The man suddenly jumped up in surprise, making Lazarus also startled. However, when he asked what was wrong, Ronan just raised his hand, telling Lazarus to be quiet. The man then closed his eyes as if he was hearing something from a distance. The next second, his smile grew wide and his face filled with peace.
"Are you okay?" asked Lazarus, making sure that his friend was still sane enough to talk to.
"Of course. I’m perfectly fine."
Lazarus didn’t know what happened to Ronan and Arielle. The man said they didn’t need to worry about Arielle, but he didn’t even tell them what was going on.
Even when Ronan was asked by Kael if he fought on the riverbank last night, Ronan just shrugged his shoulders. Lazarus also told Ronan that the man was brought by a giant eagle, and Ronan just said yes.
Kael and Lazarus concluded that last night Ronan had indeed lost his consciousness as a human, and when the day changed and morning came, the man turned back into a human.
Kael and Lazarus had also confirmed the wound on Ronan’s right hand. Both of them were sure it was the wound that Lazarus had inflicted while protecting Kael. Although it wasn’t very deep, it was in the same place both of them remembered. What they both didn’t know was that the wound on Ronan’s hand wasn’t caused by Lazarus’ sword, but from the scratch of a sharp branch when he fell earlier.
Ronan was silent. The man wore the warm clothes that Kael had brought for him. Lazarus who was dreamily looking at the scene outside the carriage window was surprised when Ronan burst out laughing.
"HA HA HA HA!!!"
Lazarus looked at his king fearfully. Meanwhile, Ronan was enjoying all kinds of stuff in Arielle’s head, which sounded quite frustrated. Even the girl cursed was very adorable when she failed to do something. He felt like watching the girl who was studying. It reminded him of when he taught Arielle to read and write.

All the way back to the palace, Ronan just sat quietly waiting for Arielle to think of something in her head. He liked it this way. This way, no matter how far apart they were, Ronan would always know Arielle’s current condition.
After he arrived in the palace, Ronan frowned at the number of people who had gathered in front of the palace. When they saw the royal carriage passing by, they cried in relief.
Ronan just remembered. Two days ago was Arielle’s coronation day as a queen. Then, his happiness suddenly collapsed and his mood was sour again. Besides, in the last few minutes, he had heard nothing from Arielle other than a question, ’What does the dragon want this time?’
Ronan wanted to ask what happened to Arielle, but he remembered his promise not to disturb her until the girl called him.
The servants, maids, and guards were also gathered in the same place. When Ronan came down, it was Tania who came to him first.
"Your Majesty? How is it? Have you found Princess Arielle?" asked Tania frantically. These days she couldn’t rest or eating well. She even starved herself by waiting for a news. Tania been waiting at the palace door day and night waiting for Arielle’s arrival.
Lucas came closer to pull Tania away. "Tania, Your Majesty is injured. You can ask about it later."
Ronan was silent. He saw Archie standing at the door of his palace.
"Where’s my sister?" the man asked coldly.
"Tania, Aimee, William, and the others come with me to my office."
"Ronan, your wound ..." William said, pointing at Ronan’s right hand, which was bandaged by a simple white cloth. It was already dirty from the flowing blood.
"You can just call the doctor. I just want to rest after explaining everything."
Ronan left the crowd in the palace courtyard. Archie, who was worried about Arielle, rushed to follow the man along with a panicked Tania. Archie even cancelled his schedule to return to the South. He would come back after making sure that his sister returned safely. Meanwhile, Tania also did not sleep for days. Every night she cried, worrying about the condition of the princess.
The news of Arielle’s disappearance threw the kingdom into chaos. The guests from other kingdoms wondered why the queen’s coronation was cancelled. William, the delegation, could only apologize for not being able to give a definite answer. He couldn’t even tell them a lie.
Moreover, the citizens began to speculate that Princess Arielle was sick. Then, they flocked to the cathedral to pray for the princess’s speedy recovery.
The palace also became chaotic due to the absence of Ronan’s role as a king for several days.
Ronan threw his body on the couch. He just wanted to hear Arielle’s voice. Maybe just a bit would make his day better.
William gave a seat for Tania because the condition of the old woman’s body was very poor. Aimee stroked Tania’s arm several times to give the old woman some strength. Aimee became silent. She had noticed something very strange during their visit to Birwick, but she couldn’t speak about it casually, so Aimme chose to keep her mouth shut until Ronan talked about it.
Kael made a room for Priest Elis and Priest Louise who had arrived. Priest Louise was in charge of leading Arielle’s coronation. He had arrived at the palace two days before, planning to speak to the princess. However, when he came, the palace was in chaos. Thus, Priest Louise decided to stay for a while until the princess returned.
A doctor arrived to examine Ronan’s wounds. While the wound on his hand was being cleaned, he explained to them what really happened.
"Arielle is currently doing well."
"Where is she now? Why did you leave her?" Archie asked impatiently.
