Jiang Qingtian cursed under his breath and quickly instructed Sun Xiyang and Ah Xing to deal with the bigger one while he prepared to rescue the clueless woman.
Sun Xiyang and Meng Xing nodded and rushed to attack the bigger monster, which pounded on its chest with both hands, revealing terrifying fangs and emitting a horrible cry as it attacked Sun Xiyang and Meng Xing. The two men exchanged glances, signaling each other with their hands in tacit agreement—Meng Xing nodded, firing his gun while luring the monster toward a narrow space that would surely restrict its movements, making it easier for him and Sun Xiyang to handle.
On this side, Jiang Qingtian was about to glare at the reckless Qin Qin when he saw that she was actually handling the smaller monster with ease, seemingly fearless of the creature before her.

With its right hand broken, the smaller monster flailed in anger toward Qin Qin. As Qin Qin stepped back, the monster reached out to grab her in a bid to tear her apart. Thinking she was going to land, Qin Qin leaped back only to find herself caught by someone.
At the moment Qin Qin jumped down, Jiang Qingtian caught her and fired several shots with his gun, all striking the smaller monster’s heart. The creature howled in pain and then fell to the ground with a thud, silent.
Seeing the monster was dead, Qin Qin heaved a sigh of relief. However, she felt something odd around her waist; the man’s hand seemed not to have let go, “Can you let go now?!”
Jiang Qingtian felt the waist he embraced was so slender that he didn’t want to release her and even when he drew her closer, he could smell a pleasant fragrance that made him flustered.
This was a panic he had never experienced before, which annoyed him. He kept his hand tight even as Qin Qin stepped away, longing to grasp that feeling again.
When Jiang Qingtian regained his composure, he saw that Qin Qin had already run toward Sun Xiyang and the others and was firing Silver Needles at the monster again.
Jiang Qingtian clenched his teeth and followed to help Sun Xiyang and Meng Xing fight the monster.
Sun Xiyang and Meng Xing saw that with their combined efforts, the monster’s strength was significantly reduced, and it didn’t take long before the larger monster was defeated by the group.
