Chapter 1443: Chapter 1053: Clues from the Coffin Lid

In the cloakroom, Vishi held the trench coat Ash wore today and initiated the "Love Separation."

Although it looks like a powerful destructive miracle, it’s actually a protective miracle that interprets the mystery of prophecy through soul magic. It is a miracle built around the soul-locking God, supplemented by Technique Spirits like ’love’ and ’soul dispersal’, and its effect is to sever all tracking.

In the past, when she wantonly plundered the world, the Prophet Mages pursuing Vishi came wave after wave. Moreover, because of Vishi’s rebirth in the Second Cycle, the Void Realm easily deduced the future trajectories of beings through her memories, resulting in a considerable decrease in the difficulty of mastering prophecy magic during that period. Consequently, the number of Prophet Mages almost fell out of the mysterious three factions, nearly becoming a new obvious trend.

To evade prophecy tracking, Vishi invented two soul miracles: the tracking-severing "Love Separation" and the calamity-directing "Resentment Meeting."

As long as a mage walks in the world, air, earth, echoes, waves, and all kinds of information will record his historical trajectory. Time Mages can even disregard reason and directly backtrack the Flowing Gold River’s waters to view all the light and shadow events that occurred in the past. This is why mages, no matter how rogue, have to join organizations because no matter how formidable a lone wolf may be, he will inevitably be found by someone and besieged.

It’s not that no one tried to follow Vishi’s path of murder and blood. Mages don’t care about moral integrity; as long as they have the capability, they can connect with the Sea of Knowledge. Thus, saying they are a group of cutthroats isn’t far off. Many normal people even become more indulgent of their desires once they acquire violence, eventually living as powerful, rampaging babies.

But the most essential quality for a lone wolf is not force but escape and concealment. Vishi was not the strongest of her era, but she could always avoid the strongest, so all who offended her were destroyed and had their souls refined, and all treasures she coveted were ransacked completely.

Whoever wanted to ambush her first had their clan wiped out, and whoever pursued her relentlessly had their friends and family massacred. You may have worldly bonds, but I do not; I just watch to see who breaks first.

The mages hunting Vishi often pursued her to the point of mental collapse but could never find her to fight to the death, leaving even legendary Holy Domain figures to die depressed. However, more people were scared to the marrow by Vishi’s tactics, with righteous order defeated by chaotic evil, and all the forces governing the earth bowing to an Evil Mage.

Before Vishi II ascended as a demigod, all forces met her demands wherever she went; foes committed suicide just to avoid implicating friends and family. All beings were nearly celebrating her departure with gongs and drums.

The miracle Vishi used to prevent tracking was "Love Separation," which impacted all traces left in its vicinity over a past period. If no one was tracking, it wouldn’t take effect. But once someone tried to trace Vishi’s whereabouts through historical traces, "Love Separation" would abruptly ignite the miracle power of the pursuer, resulting in trace disruption.

An individual leaves behind numerous traces, which ordinary mages cannot fully erase. The wonder of "Love Separation" was that it didn’t erase; it borrowed the tracker’s miracle to disrupt the traces, so it was very low on consumption and covered a vast range.

The only loophole of this miracle was that it relied on Technique Spirit of love as a trigger mechanism. Vishi discovered early on that love was the only emotion that could react with all other emotions, except for one’s own. Hence, as long as the tracker harbored any emotion, "Love Separation" was guaranteed to trigger.

Unless they bore feelings of love... But who would love a Ghost Prophet?

A miracle named Love Separation, triggered only where love wasn’t present.

"Resentment Meeting" is a bit more complex. Usually, if Vishi wanted to incriminate someone as an accomplice, she would use "Resentment Meeting" to direct her traces toward her false target. This tactic was more terrifying than any killing move. Vishi incited countless disputes this way, and she was particularly evil, revealing the truth only after self-slaying infighting had concluded. Many mages were driven to spirit collapse by this.

Now, they faced enemies from the ancient and modern Supreme Star Mages, unaware of how long this period of peace would last. But Vishi had always been very cautious, invoking "Love Separation" daily to prevent tracking.

Among them, only Vishi had the experience to escape, so naturally, she was the one to complete these tasks. Ash’s feats didn’t count as escaping; they were chased down, entirely failing to escape.

In the group assignment, the one who cares the most has to do the most work.

Today Ash and the others went out for a spin, dealing with all the clothes; troublesome... Vishi sniffed the trench coat, raising her eyebrows: "The top notes are citrus, grapefruit; middle notes are rose, jasmine, lychee; the base notes are... tobacco and white musk? When did the Sword Maiden change her perfume?"

She hung up the trench coat and left the cloakroom, faintly hearing the voices of Silver Lamp and the Sword Maiden inside the bathroom, encountering the Witch who carried a set of changing clothes ready to enter.

Diya glanced at her, arrogantly lifting her chin, undisguising her sense of superiority: "I’m joining them for a bath. Do you want to come?"

Vishi squinted slightly, shaking her head.

Although they bathed together during the journey, unless it involved Ash or magic, Sword Maiden, Witch, and Silver Lamp would not chat with Vishi during baths. Even Felix and Dedarose could participate in their circle, only Vishi could not.
