Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress-Chapter 101: Ch : Blood Red Demonic Great Sword

After taking care of the people who were inside the library, Weiss started to check out all the books that this place had to offer. As Weiss herself had read a lot of books, most of the books in this library were something that she had already gone through.

But obviously as this library was quite large, there were quite a few books that she had not seen before. And those books were exactly her target.

Weiss was not really planning to carefully read the books here. That would take a lot of time. She was just going to use her insane readings speed to check out all the books briefly and only take away the ones that she found interesting.

So without wasting any time, she started doing exactly that. If it was anyone else in her place, they would not have been able to do this.

In less than an hour, she was done checking all the new books that she could found here. That was actually a lower amount than what she had expected.

This count did not look to be the studios type, so it made sense. And as most of the books here were actually quite old, Weiss gusessed that those few good books were actually collected by the previous counts and not the current one.

But the library did look quite big with a lot more books. So it actually did not make any sense why there would be only this few interesting books.

Actually, almost 60 percent of this library’s books belonged of a genre that Weiss had little to no interest in. They were sexual smutty books with various kinds of stories.

Not just that, but even among the same kind of sexual books, there was a difference in sub genres. Some of the books were about nobles falling a love with a commoner and vice versa. There were also quite a few books about cheating sexual encounters and such.

Actually this was a genre that Weiss was very familiar with. Her mother actually had many books of this genre for her personal enjoyment.

If Weiss had to be honest, if she wrote down a few of her mother’s deeds while her father was away, that alone would make a full fledged book of this kind. But obviously Weiss had no reason to waste her time like this.

One other genre that Weiss’s mother was fond of was same sex. And this library also had several books like that too.

So this degenerate collection of books took up majority of space in the library. This was the reason why even though the library was definitely quite big, Weiss had not found many useful books here.

After leaving the library, Weiss decided to check out the treasury. She was still not interested in the money that the treasury might have and instead her target were the magic items.

It looked like most count level nobles were aware of methods to get their hands on magical items. In that case, it would not be a far fetched idea to believe that this Count Dorek might also have a few useful magical items.

As Weiss got closer to the treasury, she started to get ready for a battle. The people who were guarding the treasury were knight level individuals and there were actually three of them in total. That was almost all of the count’s high level combat power.

Among them, one of the person was even a mid level knight. So even for a normal high level knight, fighting all three of them together was not going to be easy.

But that was not the case for Weiss. She was already very close to becoming a peak level knight. Not just that but her knight’s secret art and special techniques all were of a significantly high grade. So Weiss was even capable of defeating powerhouses whose realm was actually higher than her own.

With all that in mind, there was no need for Weiss to worry about three powerhouses of this level. Even if all three of them were high level knights, even then Weiss would not have been worried.

So she quickly approached them with the intention of taking care of them as soon as possible.

Nuda and Tilk both were low level knights who had been called to join the count for a new hunt. And it looked like this time the targets were beautiful ladies. So they were super excited about this.

Whenever they went for a hunt, they would come to the treasury to get a few specially powerful weapons. And that was exactly why they were here now.

Currently they were greeting the guard of the treasury who was actually a senior of even the count himself. He was a mid level knight called Hendricks who was second strongest person present in the castle only after the count who was very close of reaching the high levels.

As they were about to enter the treasury with the permission of the count, suddenly old man Hendricks’s eyes became sharp and he took his halbard in his hand. Seeing this, even though they had not noticed any threats themselves, Nuda and Tilk immediately got ready for a battle too.

After seeing this from some distance, Weiss judged that these people were quite well trained even as a low level knight. At least more well trained than the knights who were with Count Falgur in the expedition.

But even then, there was nothing that Weiss needed to worry. She used the partial activation of Storm Assault and closed the distance between her and one of the low level knight holding the axe in a blink of an eye.

Then even before the axe holding knight could react, Weiss’s sword went through the middle of his head and killed him in one blow.

Seeing this scene, the other low level knight panicked and came swinging his weapon at Weiss with a desparate look on his face. But the mid level knight suddenly ran away and went inside the treasury. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Weiss was not sure what he wanted to do but first she decided to kill the last low level knight. And she accomplished this with a second swing of her sword quite easily. Then she went after the mid level knight and entered the treasury.

After getting in, she saw that the mid level knight was searching for something. Weiss tried to stop him and kill him before he could find whatever he was searching for but unfortunately she was took late.

This old man now had a blood red great sword in his hand and his eyes had also turned blood red. Most importantly, he was now giving of the aura of a peak level knight.

So it looked like there would be a tough battle ahead for Weiss.
