Chapter 48: Unspoken desires

He pried her mouth open with his tongue, he then licked and sucked on her tongue till she moaned. He loved the way she moaned to him, it just turns him on even more.

His hand on her cheek just tilted her head gently to the side, her hands held his broad and hard shoulders, their eyes closed as they continued to explore each other’s mouth.

They finally stopped to catch their breaths. Their fore heads on each other’s as they gradually began to breathe in the right rhythm almost even in unison.

Davian slowly removes his head from hers as he opened his eyes but his hand still on her cheek. She opened her eyes as well and they held each other’s eyes.

"Uhm..." she trailed off as she purses her lips.

"Finish up. I-I’ll be waiting at the room to help you apply the ointment." she added, standing up then she just walked out of the bathroom.

’What?’ Davian thought, but didn’t try to stop her.

That was it? She was so quick and eager to leave without even wanting to talk about what just happened.

Meanwhile, Silvia was having a scolding war with her inner voice.

Why did she do that? Why did she kiss him? What’s happening to her? She is not the type to throw herself at men, but she did kiss him first. What the hell was she thinking?

This wasn’t what she planned at all, it wasn’t part of her plans, she never planned for this. She was deviating from her main goal with Davian without even knowing.

And the way he kissed her back...

Her fingers touched her lips. She can’t deny that she liked it and wanted to do it again, even more than a kiss but this was not supposed to happen, there shouldn’t be any intimate relationship with each other.

The door to the bathroom opened and she stopped pacing. Davian walked out, a towel around his manly waist. He placed the towel he had been using to wipe his hair, he placed it around his neck. His gaze on her was calm but so intently.

She immediately avoided eye contact with him and collected the ointments.

"I’m sure you can apply it yourself on your other body parts that you can touch and see. I’ll just apply it on your back and then go see how Myne and the cook are coming up with breakfast," she said.

"Why are you trying to avoid me all of a sudden?" he asked.

"W-What?" Silvia replied.

He didn’t respond, he sat on the bed and tapped on his back indicating to Silvia that she may apply the ointment. She quickly climbed on to the bed, with the ointments in her hands.

Silvia applied the ointments as quickly as possible, she wanted to get away from him and he didn’t fail to notice that, she was even affording eye contact with him.

"Aren’t we..." she heard him say, trailing off.

"Aren’t we going to talk about -"

"It wasn’t supposed to happen!" Silvia interrupted him already knowing what he was referring to.

"I didn’t mean it so...So, don’t give it too much thought," she continued rounding up with applying the ointments on him.

"I’m done," she said handing out the ointments to him. He collected it from her.

"I’ll go see if breakfast is ready, come downstairs once you are done." she announced getting off the bed. She then walked out of the room heading downstairs.

’Didn’t mean it’, ’Wasn’t supposed to happen’. Her words kept echoing in his mind and for some reason, he felt hurt by it.

He finished applying the ointments on other parts of his body, then he got dressed and proceeded downstairs. He just found Silvia right away at the left-wing of the sitting room which was where the bar section was located.

Silvia was standing close to the counter, she turned around towards him when she felt his presence.

"Oh, you’re done. Breakfast will be served soon, sorry it’s taking so long. It’s already 8AM, I don’t know why it’s delaying this much," she acknowledged.

He didn’t respond, he just moved closer to her until he trapped her at the counter, his hands spread holding the counter with her within, right now he was far from rational. He doesn’t understand what he was feeling right now.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"Tell me again if you really didn’t mean the kiss, you don’t kiss someone like that if you really didn’t mean it," he said. She found herself swallowing.

"I-It really doesn’t matter," she stuttered.

"Yes it does," he replied.

’What is wrong with him?’ she thought.

In the past she would have reprimanded him or push him away as usual with her cheeky words but as time went by, she has discovered that his mere words could pin her down at the spot rendering her speechless sometimes.

This wasn’t her, or was it? But only with this man.

"Like I said Davian. Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill," she responded.

"Then you shouldn’t have made the molehill in the first place," he said.

"Let me kiss you again, Silvia," he added and blood rushed to her cheeks immediately.

Without waiting for her response, he brazenly connected their lips together and kissed her lightly letting go almost immediately, then he stared intently at her eyes as if searching for something.

"Why did you do that? I didn’t give you an approval yet," she chastised him.

"Because I felt like doing it," he bit his lower lip in a cute manner that made a small smile appear on her lips even in this situation.

"You didn’t push me away either. Silvia, am I the only one who feels the fireworks whenever our lips touch?" he asked.

’No.’ she wanted to say to him.

No and that’s what she was afraid of. This man was making her feel all sorts of feelings, feelings she never thought she will be able to feel. And she was just...scared.

Her hands wrap around his neck as she tiptoed and kissed him, his hand wraps around her waist as he kisses her back.

She was afraid, if these feelings were right, if they were real, if he was truly the one for her, but despite her fears, she keeps diving into this ecstatic world she finds herself in whenever they kiss.

He was like a hard drug to her, although she should be wary of it because it might harm her yet she can’t help but keep surrendering to its addicting influence.

They stopped kissing and his lips moved to her neck, her hand held the back of his head gently as he planted peppery kisses on her neck.

Her eyes were shut as she moaned to the way he kissed, licked and sucked on her neck. No one has ever made her feel this good with so little efforts and this was just the tip of the iceberg.

She felt as if she wanted him now, for him to take her, she wanted to know how it will feel.

"Oh my goodness, guys!" a voice jolted them out of their world. They turned to see Cia.

"I’m sorry for interrupting," she laughs mischievously.

"You guys may continue, I’ll just wait," she attempted to leave but Silvia rushed towards her and grabbed her hand. Her eyes glanced at Davian before she said to Cia;

"Let’s go to my study."

They were out of sight in the next minute. Davian wasn’t one to eavesdrop on people but he was very curious about what the ladies wanted to talk about at the study that they couldn’t say in his presence.

He respects their privacy but...

He just let his curiosity win this time. He moved towards the study, the door was locked but he could clearly hear their voices.

"What are you even doing here?" Silvia asked and Cia’s face dropped. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"I was supposed to come here today remember, to check on Davian," Cia emphasized. She can’t believe Silvia could actually have forgotten that.

"Okay, but it’s just 8AM, couldn’t you have come any later," Silvia asked.

"My shift at the hospital starts by nine so I decided to check on Davian first. I’m so sorry for interrupting your make out section.

"But seriously, you guys couldn’t make out in the bedroom but a public area like the bar section when you know you aren’t alone in the house and may receive visitors anytime. Were you guys really that horny?" Cia asked.

Silvia turned as pink as a peach at her words. "Shut up, Cia," she said.

"Wow, you are actually blushing. When did you guys start making out so freely?" Cia asked.

"This morning," Silvia answered.

"Wow, how did it happen?" Cia inquired more.

"I kissed him first then he kissed me and then, I don’t even know how it happened so fast," Silvia tried to explain.

"You kissed him first?!" Cia exclaims.

"Yes, while I was helping him out in the bathroom," Silvia added.

"Helping him out? Helping him out with what? (Gasps overexaggeratedly) Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking?" Cia responded.

"I have no idea of what you are thinking but stop thinking dirty. I was just helping him wash his back, he was in a bathtub and I swear I didn’t see anything," Silvia replied.

"I wasn’t thinking dirty," Cia said acting innocent with a smug smile.

"What’s with that smug smile in your face?" Silvia asked.

"Nothing. What you guys just experienced, is what is called, compilation of heaps of unspoken desires," Cia said.

"What?"

"Yes. You both had been noticing each other for a long time now and secretly desiring each other even though you both won’t like to admit it. So tell me Silvia, when did you start harboring feelings for Davian?" Cia asked.
