"Harboring feelings? Don’t be silly Cia, I don’t have any feelings for Davian." Silvia responded.

Cia shook her head.

"Ah Silvia, why are you in denial? It’s so obvious now, you are in love with Davian. The way you worry about him especially when he was kidnapped. Or when he was at the hospital.

"Silvia, you even cried. Something you don’t easily do. And the way you took care of him at the hospital even spoon feeding him sometimes. You would leave your work early or even cancel meetings for him.

"And all the nights you spent at the hospital sleeping by his side. That is enough for me to call it love. I really can’t believe it though, you are finally in love." Cia beamed in the last part of her elaboration.

"I’m not in love with Davian. I’d do all that for anyone I care about," Silvia objected. "I care about Davian and I felt...all that I did was..." Silvia trails off as she searches for the right words, she can’t believe how speechless she was right now.

"Was...my responsibility as I felt guilty," she added.

"Okay. Did you also kiss him because you felt guilty?" Cia asked.

Silvia brows creased in slight anger, Cia was irritating and annoying her right now.

"Because I kissed him, because we kissed... doesn’t mean we have feelings for each other. It’s crazy, we hate each other’s guts. So tell me Cia, if you had a one night stand, does that mean you have feelings for the person?" She asked but Cia didn’t respond.

"Do the check up you came here for and report at the hospital instead of spouting nonsense," Silvia concluded and started walking away towards the door.

’Jeez, what’s with the sudden attitude?’ Cia thought. She was just stating her observations.

Silvia opened the door, her eyes widened a little when she came in contact with Davian. What? Did he eavesdrop on them?

He laughed awkwardly; "Uhm I just wanted to tell you girls that breakfast is ready. You can join us Cia," he said, not completely a lie or just an excuse, but because Myne had already informed him earlier.

"No, thanks. I already had breakfast," she replied.

His eyes met Silvia’s.

"I promise I didn’t hear anything," he said, because she was staring so intensely at him.

"I didn’t ask and I really don’t care if you did. We’ll get the check up over with before we have breakfast." she said and walked away.

Olivia was on her bed as she watched a movie series on her laptop. To be sincere, she was sick of staying at home almost all the time. She wants to make herself useful, she was tired of being idle.

She wanted to work in her dad’s company but he wouldn’t let her as if she wasn’t his child as well, maybe if she was in charge of the company or at least worked there, the company would never have gone bankrupt.

Axel walked into her room at once without even knocking. She sat up immediately and he tossed a pregnancy test kit at her. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"It’s been weeks and I heard Leonard is in town. This is the best time to strike, you better make sure it’s positive," he said.

"How did you get this?" she asked him.

"Don’t ask stupid questions. Go check if you are pregnant now," he replied.

"I don’t know how to use it," Olivia informed as she searched for any instructions on the package.

"What? The hell why?" he asked.

She eyed him; "I’ve never been pregnant,"

And their mother was away with their dad for a friend’s marriage anniversary party. Should he just call her up perhaps? No, he doesn’t want to disturb them.

Axel called the four maids in the house. Two were advanced women running over fifty to sixty years, the other two were about Olivia’s age.

"Sorry sir, I’ve never been pregnant and I don’t know how it is used," one of the young women said.

"Me too, sir. Just got married and I don’t still know to use it but...I think it’s with the patient’s urine," the other young woman suggested.

"You think? I don’t need you think right now," Axel chastised the maid.

"Sorry sir. I’m not that sure, I don’t know... I’m sorry," the maid apologized immediately.

"I also don’t know sir. In my days, I usually just go for a check up in the hospital," one of the advanced women responded. The other gave similar response.

Axel pinched the skin between his brows.

"What are you guys women for?" he said and shooed them away with a hand signal. Then a light bulb popped up in his mind.

"You really did have a doctor friend. What’s her name again? Samantha?" Axel asked.

"Se-"

"Sarah,"

"No-"

"Sandra?"

"Sentencia!" Olivia finally said.

"Whatever. Call her up, tell her to come here asap," he order.

"She might be on a shift," Olivia replied.

"Don’t give me that," he responded agitated.

"Let me just research it or perhaps call her but not for her to come over here, let her just tell me the procedures over the phone," Olivia tried to reason with him. He glared at her.

"Are you trying to tell me what to do? I said call her up and tell her to come over here, she’s your friend isn’t she?" he asked, and she sighed. He never listens to others, he only does what was on his mind.

Does he think Olivia was as easy as her? Will she just rush over here all because he says so?

She picked up her phone and dialed Cia’s number.

{Hello}

"Hi, uhm...are you at work?" Olivia asked.

{Nope, already finished my shift. I’m at a supermarket close by, should I drop over at your house? Are you at home?}

"Yes. Please do that," Olivia responded.

{Okay, I’ll be there soon. Let me just get some more groceries, this supermarket is offering so much discounts, hehe... that’s why I always love to shop here}

Cia said and hanged up.

Soon, Sentencia arrived at the Shipman’s mansion. Since she was a familiar face, she was informed by the maids that she should proceed upstairs to see Olivia in her room.

Already knowing where it was located, she glided up the stairs and knocked on Olivia’s door when she got there. The door opened and she came in contact with the world class asshole, Axel Shipman.

He smirked at her; "Please proceed inside," he said and walked away.

She walked in and shut the door. Her eyes landed on Olivia who was standing up.

"Hey," Cia said to her. Her eyes moved to her laptop.

"Wow..." she trails off and sat on the bed, turning the laptop towards her.

"You are watching that new series which Megan Riverr is starring in," Cia smiled feeling so elated at just the sight of the series.

"Megan has never looked better," Cia added, Megan Riverr was one of her favorite veteran actress in Asteria. She was so excited to watch the series but she hasn’t had time for it.

If she had more time she would have watched it with Olivia but she will just send the movie file into her phone and watch it with her laptop little by little during her spare time.

Her eyes went to Olivia who continued to stand there looking worried.

"What’s wrong?" she asked her then she showed her the pregnancy test kit.

"That’s why I also wanted you to come. I’m scared, Cia. Both results scares me, what if it’s positive? How do I break it to Leonard Yul? How will he take it?

"Then what if it’s negative, then I’m dead meat in my brother’s and father’s hands. I don’t know how to check it and no one in the house did, my mom isn’t around and I didn’t understand the application method." Olivia explained.

"It’s okay," Cia replied standing up from the bed.

"It’s easy." Cia began to explain the procedures to her on how to use it.

When done explaining, Olivia nodded and walked into her bathroom to carry it out.

She came out after a while. Cia who resumed sitting on the bed stood up at the sight of Olivia. She looked so nervous.

"Well, what does it read?" she asked.

"I don’t know. I was too nervous to check," Olivia responded handing the kit to Cia .

Cia’s eyes widened, she gazed back at Olivia. She didn’t know if she should be happy or sad for her.

"Well?" Olivia inquired, almost impatiently.

"It’s..." Cia trailed off. Her eyes falling on the kit once more.
