"Father-"

"You don’t have the freedom to fool around and move freely just for you to throw it away because of a woman-"

"She’s not just any woman dad?!" Fi cuts his father off. His father scoffed, his son has always got guts.

"Who is this woman really, that you are ready to get into trouble for? You are the future face of this family Finland and of course, of our group!" the man continued.

"Dad..." Fi trails off as he clutches on his stomach, his face contoured in pain.

"What’s wrong with you?" his father asked. But there was no response as Fi continued to clutch his stomach, he groaned in pain as he fell to the floor. His father and the others rushed towards him.

"Fi, Fi... Fi!" Caleb called as he head Fi’s head, slapping his cheeks as he looked like he was zooming in and out of consciousness.

"Finland! What happened to him? What’s happening to him?!" his father who was angrily scolding him a while ago, was now demanding for answers with worry written all over his once calm face and eyes.

"I don’t know," Caleb responded and he quickly snapped the buttons of Fi’s shirt open.

The wound where he was shot was not only bleeding furiously but the spot had also turned blackish blue.

Poison?

Fi’s wound didn’t reopen, he was stabbed at the same spot with a knife or dagger coated with poison and Fi was too angry earlier to have noticed it or maybe he just ignored it thinking it was minor.

"Who did this?" Fi’s father inquired.

"It must have been Logan Preston, him and his men were the ones we had a brawl with. He must have stabbed Fi himself or maybe one of his men did during the brawl," Caleb explained.

"You fools!" Mr. Lee thundered.

"How could you let them get to my only son?!" he added. Caleb did try to stop him, this wouldn’t have happened if he had listen. But Caleb didn’t say any of that, it will only aggravate the situation.

"Get the doctor, now!" Mr. Lee added.

"Boss, we currently do not have any personal doctors. You ordered us to get rid of the last one that wanted to go against you, remember?" Caleb reminded.

Mr. Lee glared daggers at him; "So what are you trying to say huh?!"

"Go out there and get any doctor! Get me a f*cking doctor!" he added.

"Yes big boss." Caleb responded and with some of the men, he left.

He could have gotten any one, any one! But he didn’t know what brought him here, she was the first person that came into his mind.

’Fi is so going to kill me for this,’ he thought, but still proceeded in knocking on Sentencia Norman’s door.

There was no response.

She must be asleep by now, she did had a few. But then the door opened and Cia came out. It was late but she wasn’t asleep yet, she peeped through her door’s hole when she heard the knock.

Then she saw Caleb, Fi’s comrade. What was he doing here? Was Fi also here maybe? And that was why she opened the door.

"Is there a problem?" she inquired.

"Yes. Fi’s been poisoned," 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Just that was enough for her to go with him. He explained to her on the way, how it had happened. She was blindfolded althrough the journey, it made her a little cautious and nervous.

She didn’t get why she had to be blindfolded, it was just confirming her suspicions on the kind of people they might be.

They arrived there and that was when the blindfold was taken off. She found herself in front of a gorgeous mansion, she was soon taken inside and towards a room where Fi was taken.

She found there, an older man who had a resemblance with Fi. He must be his father, in there also was a woman and Jace.

"She’s a doctor, big boss," Caleb announced. Jace was surprised, he soon grinned.

"Okay doc. Attend to my son immediately," Mr. Lee ordered.

Cia went towards an unconscious Fi, she felt his pulse which was becoming weak. The poison was spreading fast, Fi was a fighter if not, he might be dead by now and really dead soon if she doesn’t do something asap.

"This isn’t looking good," she informed.

"You people should have rushed him to a hospital immediately," Cia added.

"I know you guys are trying to be careful for some reasons but this is too risky. It’s not like he or any of you are wanted criminals," Cia continued, saying her mind which made her to be pinned to the wall by the neck in the next second by Mr. Lee.

It was true though, none of them were wanted by the authorities but they had too many enemies.

There was a time when Mr. Lee was taken to the hospital because of a heart attack, his enemies saw it as an opportunity to finish him off but luckily he had survived.

"Shut up! Why don’t you just do your job and stop spouting nonsense?!" he fumed and let go of her. She fell to her knees, coughing.

"I can turn this house to a hospital, anything! So instead of saying irrelevant things why don’t you just do your bloody job!" he added.

She nodded and stood up; "I’m going to need some things,"

"You’ll get everything you’ll need, all of it... just make sure my son doesn’t die," Mr. Lee responded. He walked out of the room, Caleb trail from behind as he had beckoned on him before turning to leave.

"Where did you get her from?" Mr. Lee asked, slight mockery in his tone.

"You have nothing to worry about, no need to doubt her skill. She was the one I told you about, the one who saved Fi’s life that night we were almost double crossed by Z-group," Caleb responded.

"And...the woman Fi’s in love with." he added.

Mr. Lee just stared at him; "..."

Fi opened his eyes slowly. His blurry vision glanced at a woman who sat on the bed close to him.

"Fi? You’re awake," he heard her say, her sweet voice was so familiar.

"Cia?" he voiced weakly as he tries to sit up, he felt dizzy and nauseous.

Cia helped him to sit up on the bed, she had stayed at the mansion the whole night.

"What are you doing here? How did you get here?" he asked. Or was it a dream?

What had happened to him? He just blacked out at the study.

She slowly and briefly explained everything to him. His vision became clearer by the end of the explanation and even the nauseous feeling had died down.

He clenched his fists; ’That bastard Logan!’

He held her hand and smiled at her.

"Thank you...For coming," he appreciated.

His expression slowly turned into a frown as he noticed marks of fingerprints on her neck. His fingers ran on it and she flinched on his touch.

"Who did that?" he asked with suppressed rage. She was silent.

"Who did that to you, Cia?" he repeated.

"Your father." she finally responded.

He took in a breath. Then he began to stand up from the bed.

"Fi, wait stop...where do you think you are going to?" she questioned. But he didn’t respond and instead he proceeded to the door.

"Fi wait!" she held his arm, she didn’t want him to have a fight with his dad all because of her.

"Please, stop. Don’t do this, I’m fine you don’t have to worry. You need to rest," she pleaded. He stared at her for some while, his eyes went to her neck. It was just too unacceptable to him.

"I’ll be back," he replied and walked out.

She didn’t follow him, she just waited for him at the room.

"Where’s my father, Bree?" Fi questioned the woman, who was as usual always in black. She was about Cia’s age, beautiful with long black hair and dark brown eyes, almost black and it all suited her fair pale skin.

"In the study, Fi. Is there a problem? How are you feeling now?" she inquired, so concerned but he ignored her as he walked passed her heading for the study.

When he got there, he opened the door without knocking as usual.

"Fi, you’re awake now. How do you feel? Better I hope?" Mr. Lee asked.

"Why did you touch her?" Fi questioned. His father blinked at him.

"I asked a question, why did you?" he continued.

"I really don’t see why I have to give you an explanation-"

"She’s my woman and even I have no rights to lay a finger on her to hurt her talkless of another person. You wouldn’t believe if I was still your son if it ever happens again," Fi paused and turned to the opened door.

Caleb, Bree, Jace and some others stood there.

"If any of you even think of touching a strand of her hair, I’ll kill you without hesitation!" he added and walked out.

He went back to the room where he found Cia pacing back and forth. She turned to face him when he entered. He went towards her and hugged her, she didn’t return the hug.

"I’m sorry. I promise it will never repeat itself," he apologized.

She just nodded; "I have to go, Fi,"

Those words made him sad immediately, he stopped hugging her and just stared into her brown eyes. He nodded in agreement but reluctantly.

He didn’t want her to go but she has to, she shouldn’t even be here in the first place. He didn’t want her to be dragged into his world, he cares about her safety more than his feelings for her.

"Make sure you take your medications, eat healthy food and take some fruits, I already made a list of the drugs, food and fruits you have to take. It will be given to you soon I guess and most of all get some rest." she instructed and he smiled.

"Thank you for caring for me," he replied. She nodded and he finally let her go.

She walked out of the room and saw Caleb in the corridors. She was about to request to be taken home when he spoke first.

"Mr. Lee would like to see you, Sentencia,"

What the hell?!
