Mated To My Best Friend's Lycan Alpha Brothers-Chapter 354: He Is Barely Hanging
(Yelena’s POV)
"Miss .... Please cooperate," one of the security personnel muttered in a scratchy voice.
"You can’t do this to me. Let me go. I said~ ... Let~ .... Me~ .... Go~" I told them with gritted teeth, as those heavy duty, bulky guards were dragging me out of the hotel. I tried to free myself with all my might, but ended up dropping my phone that was in my hand, upside down.
*Crack* The sound of my phone screen crackling made me snap at that moment. I didn’t want to do them any harm, but they were forcing me to, weren’t they? I whacked my elbow into the stomach of the one on my left. They were certainly caught off guard by my move, and seeing the split second of the opening, I pushed the other one away.
Straightening the crease in my clothes, I declared, "I can walk on my own. And~ ... You all~ .... You all will definitely regret this. I will make sure of it," I picked up my shattered phone and cussed out loud, "Argghhhhh~ .... bloody fucking hell," glared at them and stormed out.
I didn’t stop until I reached my car. In pure frustration, I kicked the front fender of my car, my toenails came in contact with the metal structure as I yelped, "OUCHHH!"
Only in that moment did I realize that one of my slippers, in all the chaos, I had left inside. "Good, very good. Excellente. Can this get any worse?" a groan escaped my mouth as I walked back inside.
The security guards looked at me with wariness as I entered the place once again. Before they could block my path, I walked swiftly, picked up my slipper and mumbled, "You guys better watch out." And after saying my piece, I stomped out once again.
Sitting inside my car, I looked at my face in the mirror, then my attention shifted towards my shattered phone, then to my homely clothes and finally to my toenails, one of them was now bleeding a little. ’I see why she did not believe me. But~ .... they don’t have the right to be rude to me or anyone.’
Dispersing all this from my mind, I focused back on why I came here in the first place. Myra’s whereabouts were still unknown. I don’t have any way to contact her. And now my phone is dead as well.
"I guess I will have to ask Fabian to ask that damned Alaric." With no choice left, I decided to head towards the place of the accident.

(Chris’s POV)
"Why is it taking them so long?" I have been standing at the seashore for what feels like an eternity. My whole body is drenched from head to toe; the rainwater was obstructing my vision, but there seems to be no sign of the boat or anyone. My nervousness was increasing with each passing second.
The sound of thunder clapping once again hit me with a dreadful thought, as I voiced out, "Did something~ .... happen out there?" My face was drained of any color. The Lycan siblings have special powers, so I know nothing won’t happen to any of them. But what worries me so much is our stubborn young master, Fabian.
I understand he doesn’t like me, even despises me sometimes, for telling on him to his majesty. But I don’t want him to get hurt. He may have Vampire blood coursing through his veins, but that’s about that. He isn’t immortal or something. He is just like any ordinary human being, surrounded by so many vicious enemies who are ready to pounce on him and tear him apart, any minute. So, how could I not be concerned?
His childhood has been rough and trauma filled. I know his hatred for the werewolf kind as well. He has always blamed the wolfmen for his parents’ deaths.
That is why he had gone with them despite knowing the risks. I know all of that, but~ .... The thought of anything happening to him worries me the most right now. If his majesty doesn’t make it out today, I will have to protect young master from all those bloodsucking vultures who have been eyeing to have his place.
My mind was spiralling with these thoughts, and then I noticed a tiny, fuzzy image. Rubbing my eyes to clear the water droplets that had settled on them, I fixed my vision forward.
The hazy scene cleared up a little, and that’s when I finally saw the rescue boat approaching the shore. My eyes lit up instantly, "They have made it." I scurried forward with the anxiety creeping up inside me.
The boat stopped as the first one to walk out of there was Nora Everests. I gazed at her to observe, but her face was a mask of obscurity. With a palpable tremor in my voice, I dared to ask, "Princess Nora, did everything go well?"
She remained silent. Her reaction caused my stress levels to reach the top of the charts. I looked past her, and the next one to descend was Brave Everests. He was carrying someone. I rushed towards him, ’They saved him. They did manage to save the master.’
My throat choked as I was about to ask about his condition, but when I saw who he was carrying, made my blood run cold. It wasn’t his majesty but the young master. His face was pale; his lips had turned slightly blue. With my hand covering my mouth, I gazed at his lifeless face. What I dreaded the most has happened.
"Secretary Shadow~ ... call for your personal ambulance fast. His pulse~ ... it has weakened gradually," I heard Brave’s voice. With shaking hands, I made the call. Then I managed to ask, "How~ ... how did this happen?"
"I will tell you all the details. But right now, ~ .... Saving his life is our priority," he spoke, his voice came out grim as he pointed behind him.
I nodded and turned around and saw Alaric Everests following us. He, too, was carrying someone with him. I paused and looked at the person in his arms. This time I wasn’t wrong. It was his majesty, my master, Jacob Larson. His already whitish complexion was now as white as porcelain. His usual lush red lips matched his skin colour. Before I could ask anything, Alaric’s voice reached me, "Mr. Larson~ ... he is still alive but barely clinging on." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"I have already called the private ambulance," I said. Now, I understand why Brave told me to call for the private ambulance.
"No~ .... That won’t do. Time is running out for Mr. Larson," Alaric muttered with a grave voice.
"I will drive then," I told him, my voice urgent. Saying this, I rushed towards my car. Alaric followed.
The barricading shield was wearing of bit by bit. I opened my car door, and Alaric placed the master in the backseat. He then entered the vehicle as well and said, "Let’s go."
"What about Yo~ .... Prof. Stephens?" I questioned.
I glanced at Alaric’s face from the rearview mirror, and for a second, I saw a flicker of frustration and annoyance. But he soon concealed it and spoke, his voice aloof, "Nothing has happened to him. Brave will handle him. Now~ ... drive."
"But~ ..." I tried to say something, but he cut me off, "Secretary Shadow~ ... don’t you want to save your king. Or is the life of a mere human so precious to you? What is he to you? Your son? Your grandson? Your relative? Don’t waste time~ ... and just drive."
Hearing his blunt and rude ass words, I wanted to punch this person, but right now is not the time for that. I glanced out of the window to see that Brave was already treating the young master.
Taking a deep breath, I started the car and zoomed off.

By this point, the barrier had completely faded. Nora’s face was etched with a nervous expression as she asked Brave, "Brother~ .... Will he be alright?"
"He had just swallowed too much water. I already given him CPR. He will be fine," Brave assured her, but his face remained stoic. They took Fabian to a shaded area and laid him down, waiting for the ambulance.
As soon as their steps came to a halt, Nora felt dizzy. She has overworked her powers. If Brave saw her in that condition, he would surely scold her. Thinking like that, she excused herself and went away to calm her nerves.
Nora was about to take a turn when she heard a car engine. Her steps halted as her gaze shifted to the vehicle.
The door ajar and out came someone. She tried to see who it was, but the person’s face was obscured by a hoodie. They were in their pyjamas and seemed to be searching for someone. She was about to go to them, but a fresh spell of nausea and dizziness hit her.
Clutching the pendant, she turned around and walked away.
