Chapter 73: Filthy Little Thing

’’You haven’t killed enough of them, child. You have yet to express the level of pain you felt of being betrayed. That is why your wish is being delayed by us.’’

He stood under the dark clouds that spread over his territory. His blue-red gaze fixed on the little, clear pond before him in deep thoughts and disappointment. Frustration lingering in-between his diamond gaze as he wondered just when will his long, old wish be granted by this divine pond of unknown origin. He stumbled upon it during his first days of being the principal over all demons.

The divine pond of many spirits sensed his pain and decided to comfort him with a wish which he made, but on one condition that must be fulfilled by him for it to come to pass. Which he has been struggling to fulfil to get his ultimate revenge on the one who hurt him the most.

A ripple formed on the clear pond as he saw the ancient yet unknown secrets moved on the surface. They were older than him, more knowledgeable and are like titans beside him. No one knows about this place but him, and they were the only ones he bowed and listened to.

They taught him how to be stronger and invincible regardless of what he was now.

He has been their servants for a long time and the one they hoped to be strong enough to dominate them.

The ones who hinted of the knowledge of the otherworld to him, and out of curiosity he visited that plane and found his beloved he had been searching for since the day he first caught a glimpse of her existence.

’’I have already killed so much of her children and displayed my hate to them in the most demonic way no one could imagine. How much more should die by my hands? A hundred more

or a thousand?’’

’’How about a million? Hundreds of million?’’ Their ethereal voice echoed from the surface of the Oasis.

The demon prince clenched one of his fist hard in silence.

’’Why? Why do you hesitate? Feeling remorseful so soon, Your Darkness?’’ They mocked, but he tried to maintain patience with these water rats until he could find a way to control them.

’’I would never.’’

’’Good,’’ one of them said. He could see the faint outline of it very close to the surface. It was very demeaning of him to be spending time with some brainless low-life water spirits. But he wasn’t given a better choice but to tolerate them for now until he gets what he wants. ’’Kill millions. Destroy them faster. Give yourself terrible fame in this world. Let them fear you. Let all kings submit to you at the sound of your name.’’

Darkness watched these spirits in amusements as he pushed both of his hands behind him. They really know how to get their victims to go more astray.

’’I will make sure this pond you all live in dries up the moment I find out you are all useless as they say about you all when it comes to granting wishes. So you better not make me regret allowing you all to turn me into a villain for nothing,’’ he spoke his mind as the smirk on his perfectly shaped lips lingered.

’’Oh, would you look at him? All grown up and could talk back to his elders.’’

’’No one says we are useless!’’ Another defended as his smile grew wider, making him unintentionally more attractive than he was. The spirits noticed, and they all took a breath to admire him.

How he grew so beautiful every day despite the darkness that was forced on him.

It indeed wasn’t fair.

The more the amusement on his face down at them, the more they could see those pearly white teeth of his, and they silently praised him for having the most gorgeous smile existing.

’’Ugh, that smile on your face is hideous!’’ They teased him and it disappeared.

’’It’s scary seeing you smile, child.’’

He didn’t say anything to that.

’’But it is something we hoped to see often on you.’’

They can be ridiculous at times. He nodded.

’’I have never so little faith in anything, talkless of the little one I have in you all. Don’t disappoint me.’’

’’We do what’s best when the time is right. And we follow what we see and believe in.’’

He didn’t care for whatever nonsense was their response but turned around to leave their presence. He had so many other things to do.

Eva was seen carried unconsciously into the unholy court of Hell. The demons and ministers present paused in whatever they were indulging in as their heads turned to the female succubus with an unconscious she-wolf over her shoulder moving down the aisle to the surprisingly empty throne.

Lilith and Eve rose from their seats on the stairs leading to it, staring at the strange female demon confused. Everyone wondering how the hell the lowest ranked demon gained entry to the throne room!

Their Master would be furious.

The demon paused before the two upper ranked female demon and eased the unconscious she-wolf from her shoulder. Everyone watched the girl in both bewilderment and in interest.

’’All eyes away from this one, rugrats, she’s mine.’’

Eve’s eyes darkened with anger at her sass.

’’How dare you...’’

Lilith was quick to stop her sister from responding to an uncultured lower-ranked demon and told her to let her handle this situation on the master’s behalf. Lilith stepped forward, pushing her sister behind her to face the lower-ranked demon who was regarding her with amusement and in preparation of what she was going to do.

’’Filthy, little thing. Why bring another filthy little thing here before us?’’ Lilith began in a cold and authoritative voice. They have always seen themselves as his favorite and most trusted. It was only necessary to handle matters like this in his place. They feel they were the most regarded demons by him and therefore every other demon in the dungeon could be easily stepped upon.

The female demon nodded in understanding and her face not far from not being too amused.

’’It’s funny how you all think I came all the way here just for you all. I don’t even know demons like you exist, and you are already feeling too high of yourselves,’’ she shook her head at all of them in astonishment.
