Lilith gazed at the little vermin in disbelieve.

’’I’ll let His Darkness know you were a bitch as well.’’

The female succubus only smiled at her.

’’Did you fuck with the demons at the door to buy your way in?’’

’’Well, at least they found me pretty enough to want to fuck with. Unlike some snarky pompous virgins.’’

Everyone, except Lilith, did not find her attitude very funny. Lilith’s eyes glazed over to the she-wolf still lying unconsciously on the floor beside the funny female demon.

’’What business do you have with us?’’

’’Actually...’’ She began with a wave of her hand. ’’I came for the big boss here not for his ugly minions.’’

’’You really need to watch your tongue before I cut it—’’

’’Relax, Eve,’’ Lilith pushed her easily aggravated sister behind her once again. ’’Let big sis take out the trash.’’

Akasha smiled down to her feet. It is really fun messing with them. Lilith faced her once again with a more determined look.

’’And why will His Darkness want to waste his time on a low-level demon like you tonight?’’

’’Because I found a potential assassin from the enemy’s camp cruising in to our land from the border area while I was on duty. She was looking armed and dangerous.’’

Everyone stared at the harmless looking she-wolf she brought before them and then at her in disbelief.

’’I wouldn’t have bothered coming here if she wasn’t willing to be I and my family’s food for dinner and too shy to be a member of my harem.’’

Almost everyone had a disgusting look at the thought of such abomination having a harem of her own. Which low-lives demons signed up to be a member?

Lilith also looked repulsed.

’’And why is she unconscious?’’

’’Oh, you preferred her awake? I didn’t know. I shall wake her up for you all to be introduced to each other,’’ She smiled before lowering herself to use her powers to make Evangeline conscious again.

They all watched the she-wolf slowly regained consciousness and was pulled to her feet by Akasha.

’’Ugly minion, meet...’’

Evangeline stared around in both horror, confusion and in fear at where she’d just woken up in. She stared at her captor smiling broadly by her side in horror.

’’What do they call you, sweetheart?’’ Akasha whispered very close to Eva and the girl felt paralyzed with fear.

’’Eva...’’

’’Meet Eva! My new friend. She will be given to His Darkness to decide on what should happen to her for trespassing.’’

Lilith scoffed. ’’Like he listens to any other demons apart from us. Take her away with you. We don’t care what you wish to do with her. His Darkness is not interested in dealing with their she-wolfs...’’

’’How are you so sure?’’

’’Because we are his favorite,’’ she said, bringing her hands across her chest.

’’Really?’’

’’You will doubt that since you are not one of us. So leave before I have you and that thing dragged out of here.’’

Evangeline couldn’t take her eyes off this more terrifying female demon standing intimidatingly at the bottom of the stairs. She looked like she could tear off the throats of a thousand men with ease. They all look so terrifying that she could wet her pants and run fast for her dear life.

Who would have imagined a day will come where she would be in a room surrounded by demons of all sizes, shapes and nature.

’’You are too confident in yourself that I wish to challenge you.’’

Evangeline gasped when she was pushed forward in the center of the room by her captor. Lilith raising an eyebrow at her words.

Akasha brought out a dark twin whip that was as long as a devil’s tail moving it back and forth before her.

’’The first whose whip is powerful enough to tear this she-wolf into unpickable shreds gets to keep the title of being His Darkness favorite.’’ 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Lilith thought of how absurd the challenge was. Evangeline only stiffened and turned around to be met with a sinister grin from Akasha.

’’I am his favorite.’’

’’You sound too desperate. Remember actions speak louder than words?’’

Lilith has lost count of the number of times she’d had to scoff at this entity. ’’How does whipping her to death prove anything? His Darkness does not even know you to be considered his favorite.’’

’’Hmm, probably when I give him a delightful sight of the ripped body parts of the enemy tonight. I might take your place, and you will be the one that would be swept off the carpet.’’

Lilith’s jaw ticked, and she brought out her whip that looked more curved and sickle- shaped in anger. She descended the stairs and locked gaze with Akasha. Evangeline just stood in-between them as they circled round her like two enemies after the same prey. How did searching for a mysterious fruit landed her in a room filled with frightful, hateful demons?

She took a closer look at each demon observing her with an unfriendly look. Now, she knows why her people are so terrified of them. She tried checking to see if that kind spirit of strength has claimed possession of her body but became frightened when she did not feel different or weirdly energized.

Why wasn’t she getting possessed by it? What was happening? This is when she needed the strength the spirit gives the most!

Is she going to die the second time tonight and probably get forced into the body of a entirely different person in a strange land?

Her heart sank deeper than a coin being thrown into a wishing well as she gulped. It raced faster than a galloping horse at the extent of her situation.

This must be a nightmare.
