Modern World Warlock-Chapter 235: Secret Coordinates
As Oskar kept reminiscing about his meeting with the cartel at the restaurant, his hands began sweating as his built-up stress ate away at him.
While Oskar's wife and child were still conducting their daily lives as normal, they weren't aware they had been marked by a necromancer's curse, which could horribly kill them at any moment.
Moreover, over half of the members of the Azure Rebels had been cursed by Netherius, so it wouldn't just be his family perishing if they disobeyed the cartel.
At the end of their meeting in the restaurant, Netherius made a deal with them, stating that the rebels would share their weaponry in exchange for keeping their lives intact.
It was a shameful deal for the Azure Rebels, but declining would mean the utter end of the entire organization, leaving them with no choice but to accept.
When Alexander received Camille's call for help during the Blood Dragon's first attack, he couldn't respond to her as the cartel was keeping an eye on him, so he ignored the call.
Alexander knew that Camille would be mad at his decision, but the Spring handler had a plan to reveal the situation to her slowly.
After years passed, the news about the Jade Dragons eliminating the Blood Dragons and retaking their place reached the Azure Rebels' ears, prompting Alexander to follow up with his old plan.
Without anyone noticing, the Spring handler logged into the database and removed the cybersecurity of a single file, hoping for Camille to find it.
The man knew that the Jade Dragons could only have won with the help of a "magician" on their team and felt glad at their survival. Still, he couldn't shake off the fear he felt whenever the cartel got involved with them.
Initially, Oskar didn't agree with Alexander's plan, but as time passed and after he heard the Jade Dragons' news, he became slightly more hopeful.
*Sigh* 'Now, all they gotta do is follow the breadcrumbs…' Oskar thought.

After Dante and his group returned to the vampires' manor, Alice called Camille to give a report of their findings, which was then sent to other members of the Jade Dragons.
Dante and Zac decided to leave the report in the hands of Alice and Megan, so they went into the manor to play video games with Madeline.
As Megan explained that the ghouls' nest seemed to be a diversion, Camille clenched her lips with doubt.
The Azure Rebels were one of the most secretive organizations in the world, especially when it came to their weaponry, so she didn't think they would place a nest in a conspicuous place as a means to divert them.
When the handler heard the numbered versions of each of the androids, Camille widened her eyes in realization, promptly calling Trinity's name, who had been listening to the report the entire time.
"Trinity… Can you place those numbers on 'this'?" Camille asked, sending the woman a file from her computer.
The hacker opened the file and noticed it was a simulation program that had a realistic map of the entire country of Novaria, making the woman a bit confused.
["You know there are other simulators out there that have the entire world, right?"] Trinity said.
"Right… That's not what this is for. Who do you think I am?" Camille replied.
The program was developed long ago by the Azure Rebels and was used by the mafia and the government. It wasn't something an ordinary person could download from the Internet.
After Trinity snooped around the program and its features, she found a box where she could write coordinates and put down the numbers of the androids' versions.
However, each coordinate was meant to represent an axis on the map, and the numbers didn't specify which axis it was, so the hacker ended up writing down six different combinations.
Out of the six combinations, only three marked a spot on the northern side of Novaria, while the other three gave an 'error' as the pins landed outside of the map.
["How does this even make sense…?"] Trinity pondered on the call.
Camille replied by saying that it was meant to be a secret program, so the way coordinates worked was a bit different from that of a world map.
The three pins that landed on the Novarian map pointed at three different areas. One of them landed in the city of Parton, which was located on the northwestern peninsula of the country.
The second pin landed on Ulport, located on the complete opposite side of Parton to the northeast—and the last pin was placed on the mountainous area to the north, known as The Alanigan Mountains.
Camille knew that those coordinates weren't a coincidence as she was familiar with the way they conducted their business, suspecting that the Azure Rebels were trying to send them a message.
After the handler sent the information to the group at the manor, Asphodel took a peek and inquisitively placed a hand on her chin, wondering if they were meant to check each area simultaneously.
However, Camille heard her doubt and stated that she would prefer if her team were together at all times, as they weren't completely familiar with Netherius' powers, and she didn't want to make them risk their lives more than they already did.
Asphodel agreed with her sentiment, and as the women decided which city they would visit first, Trinity was already sending drones to scout the areas.
"I think Ulport would be a good choice, considering it is the furthest city from the cartel's territory…" Camille commented.

Ulport was a small city where the temperatures didn't exceed 24 degrees Celsius on a good summer day.
The place was fringed with natural harbors, allowing the fishermen to thrive in that area, which was known as the leading fish exporter of Novaria.
"I'll make some preparations on my side…" Camille said.
The group decided to make their move two days later, giving them ample time to prepare, as they didn't have any allies in the north.
