Chapter 254: Just Another Day

Lilith spoke clearly, explaining that she was incapable of creating highly conscious beings.

"I’ve spent thousands of years trying to make creatures on par with humans," she sighed softly, revealing the limit even a milky mommy must face, "but they always end up as mindless monsters."

"I can’t create souls," she added.

Her words grew heavier as she elaborated—souls from Earth were all bound to a recurring cycle, reincarnated each time Earth fell.

"And now... that cycle will never repeat. The contract means nothing anymore," she said.

Domina frowned slightly.

"Then what about Ruby?"

She pressed further.

How could Ruby exist like this after what Lilith did to her?

How could she take that form after being infused with something akin to dark matter?

Lilith calmly responded. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"I didn’t create Ruby. I only refined her form—by giving her my black blood, saturated with mana."

"What? So..." Domina’s mouth opened slightly in disbelief.

Lilith nodded.

"Yes. Even without my help, Ruby would’ve survived. In the form she first awakened in."

In that moment, Domina the Caramel Mommy felt overwhelming gratitude—for the second time—toward the Savior who had once rescued her. She lowered her head, and as if accepting a truth she could no longer avoid, she realized her daughter had to fight for her life... to protect Earth from falling to Learth.

Lilith gave a faint smile. Domina glanced at her.

"What’s so funny?"

Lilith gently stroked Domina’s head. Domina’s cheeks flushed, the maternal aura of the Milky Mommy overwhelming the weakened Caramel Mommy.

"You’ve softened," Lilith said,

"but that’s not a bad thing."

After that brief explanation, Lilith took her leave without ceremony. She was confident that the monster girls’ intellect would never devolve into the kind of foolishness that could endanger her position as a being whose only purpose was to protect Earth.

She returned to her chamber, bathed in a dim violet glow.

Her pale skin stood in stark contrast, the only living matter in that space. Slowly, she sat down on her chair and gazed at the floating panels that appeared before her. For the first time, she was silent. No more problems. No more bugs in any layer of the Tower.

She touched her face, then turned one of the panels into a mirror and brought it closer to her reflection.

The beauty of her face, the perfection of her body—would never again be born on Earth. Even if Earth prevailed, she would remain the first and the last.

"What a pity... I can’t..." she murmured, lowering her gaze and gently caressing her abdomen. "Pass down this beauty." Her eyes shimmered faintly with tears.

No matter how much intimate fluid was poured into her pussy, no matter how deep her true love was for the man she considered as her own son, her body would never be able to give birth to new life.

All the slip-slop, sloppy up and down, would never create a newborn creature—only a pure act of lust.

"That’s more than enough," she said as her pale, black-nailed fingers brushed her eyelids. "I’m content with sex." She spoke as though accepting a simple truth. "Turns out I wasn’t made to be better than human. I was too blind to realize I’d never have my own little baby." She chuckled softly and let out a long sigh.

Outside the Tower, after a night filled with chaos, Validia—still playing her role as an ordinary human—was on her way to the hospital with Nathan. Ulrich had contacted Nathan, instructing him to have Validia heal David.

Fiona spent the night at the hospital, watching over David who still lay weak on the bed. Sitting beside him, she tried to convince him not to return to the Tower for the guild’s mission. But David, ever the dutiful Hunter, would never agree.

Their quiet, tender story unfolded beautifully—unaware that it was all taking place in the final countdown toward the Dimensional War.

Nathan sat quietly in the car, his elbow resting against the window frame.

His reflection on the glass looked more exhausted than he felt. When will the next attack come? he wondered. When will that strange portal appear again? The thought made his jaw tighten.

Ulrich’s voice from the night before still echoed in his head—sharp, commanding, full of that patronizing "for the guild" tone. Nathan had agreed to the deal, sure, but every time Ulrich acted like the one pulling the strings, something inside him twisted.

He knew the truth no one dared to say aloud: if he wanted, he could wipe out every Hunter in the city. In one night. And sometimes, sitting like this, staring out into the fragile peace of dawn, he almost wished Ulrich do something like Lady Rion did.

They finally arrived. The car stopped with a soft hiss of brakes, and for a moment, neither of them said anything. Validia just sat there, staring straight ahead, her face unreadable. They both get out from the car and walked toward hospital.

Nathan glanced sideways. He figured she was probably annoyed—after all, she wasn’t just stronger than Ulrich or David. She was stronger than every human alive. Pretending to be one of them must have felt like wearing chains.

He opened his mouth to say something—anything to break the silence—but before he could, Validia stepped out of the car and said flatly, "Give me money. I want yoghurt."

Nathan blinked. "What?"

"Yoghurt," she repeated, already walking toward the nearest convenience store like a goddess casually blending into rush-hour mortals.

Nathan exhaled through his nose, half amused, half done with life. "Yeah, sure. The strongest always act dumb right, what a manhwa template...."

"Wait—I’m coming first!" Nathan shouted, jogging a few steps after her.

Validia turned her head just enough to answer, calm as ever. "Yeah, yeah... I heard you."

That tone—lazy, detached, completely unfazed—made him stop mid-stride. He watched her walk ahead, her hair catching the morning light, her presence so otherworldly it made everything else look dull.

Damn, he thought, running a hand through his hair. When did this turn into me acting like her unc?

It wasn’t that he minded. It was just weird—how a creature capable of ending civilizations could still fqll for the slurp of a cup of yoghurt.
