Monster Harem In The Tower-Chapter 253: Uncozy Vibes
Nathan was still seated on the couch, his face tense. Validia sat beside him, her eyes fixed on the TV screen, which now displayed wild analyses and speculation from various reporters.
Validia parted her lips, about to speak—when the sound of hurried footsteps echoed from the stairs.
"Eh? What happened to you two?"
A cheerful voice cut through the heavy atmosphere.
A small girl in a yellow hoodie with slightly messy hair stood at the edge of the living room. Lily—Nathan’s little sister—looked at them with a flat expression, barely surprised by her brother’s torn clothes and bruises.
Nathan frowned. "Why are you so calm?"
Lily shrugged. "You left in such a rush earlier, it reminded me I had a mountain of English homework... so I kinda panicked. But then I saw the news... and fell asleep, hehe."
Validia blinked slowly. "You’re not scared?"
"A little," Lily said as she walked closer, carrying her tablet. "But if you came back all bloody and ripped up, that means you won, right? And Big Sis Validia can heal you, can’t she?"
Nathan held his breath for a second. Then let out a tired chuckle. "Yeah... more or less."
Lily squinted. "Where’s Mom?"
Before Nathan could answer, a loud voice rang out from the kitchen—slightly naggy but warm.
"Mom’s right here! With Dad! We’re making dinner! Don’t bother your brother just yet!"
Nathan and Validia exchanged a glance.
Lily gave a nonchalant nod, then plopped down on the floor and opened her tablet, scrolling through news updates. "Hey, if the world’s ending... do I still have to turn in my homework?"
Nathan closed his eyes. A soft sigh escaped his lips. I forgot she is my sister, he thought.

The control room of the Tower was now filled with floating violet orbs, drifting gently in the air like fireflies from a dream.
Their light brushed against the glossy black walls, reflecting across the obsidian marble floor.
Silence.
Only the pulsing hum of magic could be heard—like the room itself was breathing.
Lilith still sat upon her throne, her pale fingers tapping softly against the armrest.
One orb floated close and merged into her palm, displaying a flash of information through light and echoing voices.
Domina stepped forward, her white mask hanging at her waist.
"Didn’t expect this," she muttered flatly. "Those clam-things that used to be snacks in Validia’s world... now they’re used to make Clones?"
Her brows furrowed. "This is getting weirder."
Ruby practically exploded. "HUH?! CLONES FROM SNACKS?!"
She jumped ahead, eyes sparkling.
"Ruby’s gonna be COOL like Mama!! I want a Clone too! Or two! Or a hundred!!"
She began spinning in circles across the floor.
"Ruby Version 2 for cooking! Version 3 for kicking monsters! Version 4 for—uh—for playing!!"
Domina let out a long sigh. "Focus, you twitchy rabbit."
Ruby ignored her, still twirling and shouting, "I’ll be so cooooool like Mamaaaaa~!!"
Lilith chuckled softly. "Slow down, my little one."
Moments later, they returned to the 100th Floor.
WHUUUMMM—
The five figures emerged in the center of the Tower’s hundredth floor.
But the place... no longer resembled a wild realm.
Now, it felt like a tiny village.
Simple wooden houses stood in a circle. Thin smoke curled from chimneys. Lanterns hung along cobbled paths, lighting the central square, which featured benches and scattered crafting tools.
Velmora gave a faint smile. Morvessa stretched out her wings with a groan. Livia immediately leapt onto a rooftop and lay down flat.
Ruby—as expected—squealed in delight.
"HOOOOOMIEEEESS!! UWU!!"
She dashed toward a house with a bunny flag fluttering on top.
Domina crossed her arms. "Hmph. Not bad. Decent progress for a side project while Nathan was away."
Lilith was the last to step out from the portal.
Her long gown swayed gently in the breeze.
Her eyes scanned the tiny village scene.
The wind shifted. A strand of silver hair swept across her face.
She was about to speak.
But Ruby was still running wild in the middle of the road, shouting about her imaginary army of Clone-Rubies.
Lilith paused. Then smiled... and closed her mouth.
"Not yet," she whispered to herself.
"Perhaps... after the little cutie falls asleep."

The semi-VIP hospital room remained quiet, save for the steady beeping of the heart monitor.
David slowly adjusted his sitting position, though his face was still pale.
Knock. Knock.
A soft tap on the door—then it opened before anyone could respond.
Ulrich entered. His long coat fluttered slightly, his face as usual—sharp, unreadable.
Greg gave him a nod and stood up.
David turned to Fiona.
"Fi... can you give us a moment?"
Fiona hesitated. Then stood without protest, though her reluctance was clear.
"...Okay."
She walked to the door and opened it slowly. But just before closing it behind her, she paused.
Her face showed clear annoyance.
"At least let him rest a bit, geez," she muttered under her breath. "Boys are just..."
Click. The door shut.
Ulrich pulled a chair and sat calmly. His gaze locked onto David.
"Any intel on why the portals appeared simultaneously?" he asked directly. "Or any working hypothesis?"
David didn’t hesitate.
"Sir Ulrich... Nathan knew about this."
Ulrich raised an eyebrow. Greg turned quickly.
"He even warned me... before it all happened."
Greg scoffed quietly.
"Nathan? That lost boy?"
He leaned back against the wall.
"He really become powerful, huh?"
There was a tinge of irritation in his voice—but also admiration he couldn’t quite admit.
Ulrich merely cleared his throat.
"Hmm... He is indeed too strong. Even Rion was reportedly beaten with ease, in the last report."
David let out a soft cough.
"In that case... the expedition to the Tower might have to be postponed. I’m not stable yet."
But Ulrich only gave a thin smile.
"Didn’t Lilia—Nathan’s friend—have a recovery-type skill?"
David frowned slightly.
"As far as I know... her ability isn’t limited to objects. So it’s possible... she could heal you too."
---
The large supermarket was finally calm, though signs of chaos still lingered.
Scattered goods littered the aisles, and some display shelves were cracked.
But civilians had begun to regroup—many offering thanks to the dark-haired girl standing near the emergency exit, holding a comms radio.
Sophia.
Her uniform was dirty, her hair slightly disheveled, but her face remained firm.
When the monsters attacked the city, she hadn’t run into the streets—she chose to stay inside, ensuring the people hiding there remained safe.
Her phone buzzed.
She glanced down—the name on the screen: Lily.
Sophia answered instantly.
"Hello? Lily?"
"Yes, Sis Sophia?"
"Is everything okay? You... Nathan...?"
Her voice trembled slightly, trying to stay composed.
"Yup," Lily replied quickly. "We’re safe. You’re okay too, right?"
Sophia exhaled in relief.
"Yeah... I just... stayed here to keep everyone safe."
She bit her lip. Almost said more... but stopped herself.
"Alright... take care, okay? I’ll message you once I’m able to leave."
Click.
The call ended.
Sophia stared at the phone screen for a moment.
Then—quickly masked a small smile behind her usual cool expression.
"...Stupid me. He’s strong. Why was I even worried?"

TOWER FLOOR 100th – NIGHT
A soft breeze drifted through the wooden windows of the main house.
Ruby—still dressed in her favorite bunny pajamas—rubbed her eyes with a big yawn.
"Uuugh... Ruby’s sleepy..."
She gave Domina a quick hug, then turned to Lilith.
"If Papa comes back... wake me up, okay?"
Lilith stared at her for a long moment.
Then slowly nodded, holding back a smile that never reached her eyes.
"I will."
Ruby smiled. "Promise..."
Then she trotted off toward her room. The door clicked softly shut behind her.
Silence.
Several seconds passed before Lilith rose from the stone chair near the fireplace.
Her expression changed.
Serious. Commanding. As if she were about to issue a timeless decree.
"...Playtime is over."
She looked at the four Monster Girls in the room—Domina, Velmora, Morvessa, Livia.
"Earth must win... in the upcoming Dimensional War."
Everyone stiffened.
Lilith continued.
"Nathan’s body... it has evolved. Almost comparable to the ancient humans. He can manipulate mana naturally... But he’s still alone."
She walked slowly toward the window, gazing at the artificial sky within the Tower.
"There are still 24 years left before the great war begins."
Then she turned, facing them one by one.
"If possible... you must reproduce with Nathan."
Silence.
The atmosphere grew heavy, like a fog pierced by something sharp and inevitable.
Morvessa suddenly smiled.
"Finally," she said lightly. "I always wanted a child... and if the father’s someone as strong as Brother..."
Velmora rolled her eyes, but didn’t reject the idea outright.
"I used to be a queen... I understand the weight of sacrifice, of legacy," she said coldly. "But I can’t lie. Even if I say no... I still want to live."
Livia sat quietly in the corner, face flushed, her bunny ears stiff.
"I-I don’t mind... if it means... saving everyone..." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
Only Domina remained still, unmoving. Her eyes sharp, cold.
"...No."
The word sliced through the room like a blade.
Lilith looked at her.
Domina bowed her head slightly.
"I already have Ruby."
"She... wasn’t born from my womb. But she is still my blood... and Nathan’s," her voice trembled slightly. "I love her. And if that war really comes..."
She clenched her fists.
"Ruby could die."
Lilith lowered her gaze. Her expression darkened.
"...I understand how you feel, Domina."
She slowly returned to her seat.
"But if Earth loses... all of this will vanish. The Tower of Genesis is not eternal."
She looked at them again—with a gaze heavy like a mother breaking terrible news to her children.
"Ruby... won’t just lose her home."
Silence.
"She—and all of us—will disappear. There will be no meaning left..."
Domina remained standing, her voice rising again—low, but this time edged with steel and reason.
"If this is truly for the sake of war... then why not just make more Clones of us?"
She looked directly at Lilith.
"You have plenty of those shells. You could get Nathan’s genetic material easily. Ruby... was born accidentally from the effect of one, wasn’t she?
So why not make more? Dozens. Hundreds.
Without sacrificing an innocent soul who’d be our child."
Velmora and Livia turned to her.
Morvessa raised an eyebrow—silent, but intrigued.
Lilith didn’t answer right away.
She stared into the flames crackling in the hearth.
Then slowly lifted her head. Her voice came out in a whisper—soft, yet weighty.
"Because..."
