Preparing to move was a lot of work
“Mr. Takumi. What were you and Alfred talking about?”
“Ah, just about my schedule. After all, we will be moving to Range Village soon.”
After Alfred had left, Claire asked me what we were talking about… But it was something I wanted to keep secret from her.
Also, it was partly true, since I would be making confirmations regarding my schedule as well.
“I see… Yes, this is a busy time for you and the servants. I will have to discuss matters with Alfred and Lyra as well.”

Regardless, because of what the fairy had been doing, my tone was a little sharp.
“Perfect timing. We were just talking about fairies a moment ago… And there are things I wish to ask you. Is that alright?”

“Well then…”
Sebastian started to question the fairy.
Claire and I were curious as well, and so we listened.
Leo had lost all interest though, and so she started to play with Liza and Tilura instead.
“I have heard about your contracts. How it is different from the contracts we humans sometimes make with monsters.”
“Yes, it’s different. Not that I know much about your contracts… But ours is special because only we can do it!” 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
According to the fairy, the contract wasn’t about being subservient or equals or anything like that. It was about offering protection.
The fairy would offer a little help and support here and there without being noticed.
However, this contract could only be made with children.
And so Sebastian asked why this was the case…
