My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 653
Chapter 653
Anton and his new four semi-apprentices, slash new hires, arrived at what looked like a huge building reminiscent of large museums on Earth. Kirk went ahead and purchased tickets for the five of them.
“The tickets are truly costly, so usually only the very rich can afford them,” Mesono said while they were waiting for Kirk to return.
“We are part of group four. According to the ticket salesman, they gather around eight to ten people at a time, and a wizard would then guide everyone inside. The wizard guide would tell us information about the different creatures, like their names, where and when they were captured, and if the sea creature that’s being talked about has special abilities or something,” Kirk said. Then, they gathered in front of the building, waiting for their guide.
They were joined by a wizard who was wearing a mage robe with an emblem supposedly signifying that he was a member of the magic academy that owned the aquarium. They all waited for a few more minutes, then they were joined by an older couple and a girl in her teens who was probably the couple’s daughter.
The wizard started speaking. He basically told them the history of the beginning of the aquarium. The guide’s voice was clear, but it had an intonation that could put anyone to sleep. Anton imagined that if the wizard guide were back on Earth, he would have earned a lot of money hosting ASMR videos. Nevertheless, Anton found the information interesting, so he listened closely to the man.
After that, they entered the infrastructure. The first sight they encountered truly impressed Anton. It was a walkway tunnel made of glass where different colorful fish swam. There were also magic lights floating inside the glass tunnel, making sure that everyone who was walking inside could see all the details of the long glass tunnel. The view was breathtaking. Then they stopped when they reached the middle, and their guide started spouting information about the glass tunnel.
Their wizard guide also started pointing at the different species of fish inside the aquarium glass tunnel and told them information about them and where they were captured. The fish looked like jewels swimming in water, and for a moment, Anton was tempted to create an aquarium in the Rose Manor.
Anton was hugely surprised to realize that they actually stayed at the glass tunnel for more than an hour. All of them did not noticed the passage of time, which proved the fact that viewing the fish in the glass tunnel was highly mesmerizing.
Then their group started walking again. After they left the glass tunnel, their guide led them to a place where an extremely large glass aquarium was located. The aquarium was filled with scary-looking sharks. As part of their entertainment, someone threw a live cow at the aquarium, and they all saw the sharks gather and devour the cow in seconds.
There were three species of sharks that Anton could see, and they looked like Earth’s Tiger Shark, Hammerhead Shark, and the third one that he could not identify. It did not matter since their wizard guide started telling them all the information about the three shark species and that there were other shark species in the building, but these three were the ones that could co-exist with each other.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
When the cow was thrown inside the aquarium and the sharks started devouring it, the teenage girl shouted and hugged her mother. She had nothing to be ashamed of because Anton was amused to see that even the other young men looked a little afraid.
After that, their guide brought them to an aquarium filled with different species of jellyfish. They looked like different blooming flowers inside the water, and they were all breathtakingly beautiful, like mini-fireworks that bloomed permanently inside the water.
Mesono suddenly nudged Anton and pointed at the teenage girl. Anton almost laughed out loud when he saw the girl looking at Kirk with calf eyes. He reassessed Kirk and suddenly realized that the young man was indeed handsome, with his icy blonde hair and deep blue eyes, and that was probably the reason why the girl looked like she had met her true love. Anton and the other guys snickered behind Kirk’s back. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
The funny thing was, Kirk seemed to be unaware of the girl’s attention on him. They only stopped giggling like idiots when their wizard guide gave them some mild admonishment.
The jellyfish were truly beautiful, and their wizard guide named all the species inside the aquarium. The man even told them the regular habits of the jellyfish. Since the sea creatures were incredibly beautiful, even though the man’s voice sounded truly boring, all of them were still highly interested in everything the man was saying.
After the jellyfish attraction, their guide brought them to another aquarium. This time, the attraction was the different beautiful corals that were surrounded by fish. The corals were like different crystals that grew from the sea floor. The aquarium looked like an exotic garden that one could only find on alien planets.
Anton had to admit that the ticket prices were worth it. Their wizard guide then brought them to a cafeteria. Everyone was startled when they were told that it was already noon, and that meant that no one had noticed the passage of time. It was a symbol of how successful the guide and the aquarium entertaining their customers.
The cafeteria was actually a high-class restaurant with waiters and a menu. The old couple and their daughter separated themselves from the group and sat on a smaller table for three people. The five of them did the same thing.
When Anton opened the menu, he saw that most of the items were seafood. The prices were also startlingly high, but he did not care. He was rich enough, so he ordered whatever took his fancy, and Kirk and the others followed him. At first, the waiter looked hesitant, so Anton threw a purse at the man containing a hundred gold coins.
“Just tell if we need to pay more,” Anton said.
The waiter looked at the coins inside and smiled widely. The waiter took their order and left soon after to get their food.
“How rude! Do you often encounter such things?” Kirk asked.
“When I’m wearing my mage robes, no,” Anton replied.
“Are we allowed to wear mage robes?” Mesono asked.
“Technically, you’re all novice wizards already, so yes, but to tell you the truth, I haven’t encountered any sort of etiquette about such things. Did you ever hear anyone getting reprimanded for wearing mage robes even though they’re not mages?” Anton asked, and the four shook their heads.
The five of them were actually a little surprised that they had not heard any news about anyone attempting to impersonate a wizard to scam other people.
“More than likely, it’s easy enough to get caught since the only thing you need to do is cast a spell to prove you’re a wizard,” Abdul said.
“What about those performers, like the ones from the carnival?” Anton asked, and the four young men just shrugged.
Soon, their waiter arrived with their order, and they all started eating. This time, they did not behave atrociously since they were not alone. While they were eating, Mesono, Abdul, and Omar started teasing Kirk about the girl who was making calf eyes at him. Even Anton added some digs to the young man.
Kirk just ignored them and continued eating. They only stopped when the young man said that the girl was rich, so people like them usually would not look at them twice, and besides, they currently don’t have any time for such foolishness since they all want to focus on their magic.
