Chapter 654

Anton and the four young men that he was now training as future wizards of Rose Manor continued ribbing each other regarding their shenanigans about the fairer sex, especially after Kirk sanctimoniously said what he said about focusing on magic.

Because of that, Anton heard all their misadventures regarding their activities, like the four of them trying to hire a single prostitute, which resulted in their beatings from the said prostitute and from their parents, since the coins they attempted to use to hire the woman were supposed to be given to their families for food spending.

That misadventure just happened a year ago. After that, all sorts of funny little adventures that the four young men had undertaken over the years came out, and Anton had not stopped laughing since the start of their lunch break.

Kirk and the other three did look at Anton enviously when he admitted that he was able to sleep with the prettiest angel that could be found in one of the most prestigious brothels in Ormunda. He even described how the girl looked. Anton had admitted that even though she was extremely beautiful beyond belief, he could not even remember her name.

“How much did you pay?” Mesono asked.

“I don’t remember exactly, but it was hundreds of gold coins, I think,” Anton said. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

“Man, once I become an archmage, I will also go inside the dungeons and earn thousands of gold coins. I will then buy a huge castle and have many wives!” Omar said with a dreamy expression on his face.

Anton then saw that the spark of ambition that one could see in Omar’s eyes was also present in the others. They now knew that they all had the potential to become powerful wizards if they were allowed the time to grow, and Anton had promised them that he would give them time to do so in return for protecting the Rose Manor for thirty years.

He did not know if the condition he required from the four was lenient or harsh, but he knew that he tended to be lenient and generous when it came to treating others. Anton did not plan to change, since his personality was just that. His experiences so far, ever since he transmigrated to this world, felt like he had been treated generously by whatever cosmic beings who handle such things. If everything were random and there was no such being, then he was lucky. All the bad things that he did experienced were because of the actions of an evil organization and not because fate was unkind to him. Anton was grateful, and he knew that his father and his sister were the same. If Anton did not have the power that he had when the Coalition attacked their small village, then their little family would have been deep beneath the dirt by now.

Their wizard guide returned soon afterwards and told everyone that it was time to return to the tour. Anton cast the Cleaning spells on the five of them to clean the food residue that still managed to cling to them.

“You’re a wizard?” Their guide asked, surprised.

“He’s not just a wizard, he’s a Supreme Rank wizard! The youngest in Ormunda! And we’re all novice wizards and we’re all his apprentices!” Abdul exclaimed loudly.

Anton glared at Abdul, and Kirk slapped the back of his head. Anton forgot that Abdul was only sixteen and young enough to do such foolish things.

Their wizard guide's eyes grew wide while the old couple with their teenage daughter gasped.

The guide was about to speak when Anton spoke.

“Don’t mind the kid, and let’s just continue.”

The guide nodded, and they all went to the next attraction, which was a large aquarium filled with gentle giants that looked like whale sharks. Their guide started informing them of the details of the large creatures. At first, everyone could hear that the guide, who was probably a novice wizard just like Kirk and the others, was a little nervous and was stuttering a little, but soon he found his groove back and returned to his boring tone filled with information.

The slow and elegant way the gentle giants swam was hypnotizing, and all of them stared at the creatures for several minutes, listening to their guide’s voice telling them the sea creatures' habits, diets, and where they were captured. What he liked about the wizards who managed the aquariums, if their guide was to be believed, was that most of the sea creatures were not forcefully captured but rescued from danger. They were given sufficient nutrition, and their living environment seemed to be more than adequate. Not that Anton cared, since he was not an eco-warrior that he had seen in videos on the most famous streaming site on Earth.

Their wizard guide also assured them that there even though there were magical sea creatures in the aquarium, there were no sentient ones. That one Anton found hard to believe. He ignored that statement since his suspicions were just that, suspicions with no evidence. He did not even know where that suspicion came from. Probably from knowing the general behavior of most wizards.

While looking at the gentle giants, Anton wondered if there were mermaids under the ocean or any other sea creatures like sea elves or something of that sort. Maybe there were even magical kingdoms under the sea. For a brief moment, Anton imagined becoming powerful enough that he could explore the depths of the ocean at will and find himself inside different undersea kingdoms.

Their tour guide then brought them to an extremely huge aquarium that housed a “dwarf” Kraken. The kraken was a large as a blue whale, and everyone’s eyes grew wide while beholding the magnificent creature.

Their tour guide informed them that the “dwarf” kraken was extremely strong and capable of casting basic water magic. The guide assured them not to worry about the seemingly fragile glass aquarium since it was protected by magic arrays created by Invincible Wizards. Anton could see the traces of the array lighting up the glass once in a while. When he asked Kirk and the others, they said that they did not see them.

After the Kraken, their guide brought them to an aquarium filled with sea turtles and sea horses, and their habitat was decorated beautifully like the others. Every aquarium that they had seen was so beautiful, and the sea creatures were so mesmerizing that they now understood why the ticket prices were astronomical.

Their tour guide told everyone that the tour had ended at around three in the afternoon, but the man admitted that they had only seen the first part of the tour and that if they wanted to proceed to the second and last part, they would need to buy the tickets again the next day. One important information was that the third part was going to be led by an archmage wizard, and it would cost one medium mana stone per person.

The old couple, their teenage daughter, Kirk, Abdul, Omar, and Mesono gasped when they heard the price.

Anton did not have any medium mana stones since he usually sells them immediately, but he did manage to collect more than 200 high-level mana stones. He left most of them in the treasure room in the Rose Manor, but he did keep around ten of them in his inventory.

“I don’t have medium-level mana stones. I do have high-level ones. How many high-level mana stones for the five of us?” Anton asked their guide.

Everyone stared at Anton, including their wizard guide.
