“I remember you wishing that you had some of my spells, like my Telekinesis spell that will let you fly, when we were in Rendindura. Now you can, but I suggest that before choosing the Sorceress class, review the details of all of the classes, since it would be extremely tedious to change the class to something else,” Anton said to his sister while pointing at the notes that were given to her by their father.
“So it’s possible to change the class that you gave? Why is it tedious?” Anna asked.
“I can only bestow a class twice a year, and it would take months between bestowal, but that’s not the tedious part. Unlike the standard wizardry practice, increasing the rank, or in the case of the class that I’ll give you, increasing the level of the class, is not based on memorizing and casting spells. It’s based on killing dungeon monsters,” Anton replied.
“When I received my Paladin class, it took me months to get to my current level,” Anders told his daughter. Anders’s level was now 39.
“I imagine that since you’re currently studying inside a magic academy, you would not have a lot of chances to enter a dungeon to increase your level. That meant that you can only use the first few spells of the class that you’ll be choosing,” Anton added.
“I recommend that you focus on your wizardry, and once you graduate, you can then enter a dungeon to increase your level,” Anders said.
“Let me review these notes first and think about the class that I’ll choose,” Anna said.
“By the way, there have been major changes in my unique bloodline magic. That meant that I could only give you a week of my time to join you and your classmates in watching movies. How long is your winter break?” Anton asked, and Anna replied that it was a month.
“Since it’s that long, I’ll help you acquire your first few levels in the dungeon before you go back to school,” Anders told his daughter.
After that, the three discussed what had happened during the time they were apart. Anders talked about his work inside the dungeon. Anton discussed his experiences fighting the undead in the kingdom of Mendoza and the fortified town located between Mendoza and New Drennor. He also told his father and his sister about his week-long vacation and all the things that he did during that time in New Drennor.
Anton also told Anna about the four young wizards who were now under contract with the family. Anders told Anna the details of the contract, and Anna agreed that it was a good idea for the family to have several wizards beholden to them.
After their long talk, Anna did not forget to tell Anton that the first movie watching would be that night and it would be in the cinema, since Anna and her classmates wanted to experience the full cinema experience.
At first, Anders was hesitant to agree with his daughter because the business would be interrupted, but after a bit of cajoling, Anders agreed.
The plan was that the whole family would be dining out at around five in the afternoon, then they would all go to the cinema, close one of them for the family’s personal business, and then the family would be watching the movie there.
Anton had decided that for that week, they would be watching the three films by James Cameron, which were the epic science fiction films, the Avatar franchise. He decided that because his system actually informed him that it was capable of showing the full 3D experience. It was easy enough for Anton to have someone create the 3D glasses.
Every member of the family and some of the employees slash servants would be joining them. During lunch, when that plan was shared with Anna and her classmates, everyone rejoiced, especially Luna and Alfred, since Anders allowed them to invite up to three friends each.
Anton knew that the three friends' requirement would probably cause trouble within Luna and Alfred's group of friends, but Anton promised the siblings that they would be able to rewatch the films with their friends at a later date.
He could see that Anna’s classmates, who were true rich girls, were a little shocked that some of the “servants” were invited. They knew Anna’s family history, though, and knew that they were originally just a family of farmers, and that meant that they still did not have the noble or the rich families’ haughtiness.
Anna, Luna, and Alfred kept asking Anton which movies they would be watching, but Anton kept telling them that it was a surprise.
Anton was surprised that the people who would be joining the cinema experience had already started preparing just after lunch. He was a little shocked that all of the women were planning to wear elaborate gowns, as if they were joining a ball instead of just watching a movie. Because of the women’s effort, all of the men, including Anton, had no choice but to follow suit.
It felt surreal to him. It was as if they were going to join a movie premiere that consisted of celebrities and the press. Raymond had to rent more carriages because of the large number of people who would be joining them. The manor simply did not have enough carriages.
By the time everyone was ready to depart at around four in the afternoon, Anders told him that a lot of speculation outside had been happening. When they arrived at the restaurant that Raymond and his cohorts had reserved for the night, there were even bystanders watching them who kept asking what the event was.
It was understandable because all of them were wearing their most gorgeous clothes and jewelry.
After dining, they all headed directly to the cinema. When they arrived there, Raymond distributed the 3D glasses that were hastily made as per Anton’s instructions and informed everyone that once the movie started, they were required to wear them or else the film would be blurry.
Once everyone was seated and comfortable, Anton went to the front and activated his globe of browser sharing, making sure that the 3D option was enabled.
When the movie started, Anton was just like any of the other audience members. He was hooked, and his whole world was inside the film.
Avatar by James Cameron was a truly gorgeous film. Because they were watching the 3D version, it felt like Anton was inside the movie. He had to admit that James Cameron was a genius.
Normally, Anton would schedule a break in the middle of watching such a long film, but because he was so immersed, he forgot about it.
The moment the movie ended, everyone clapped enthusiastically. The talk then started, which turned into a party. Food and drinks arrived, and Anton was truly impressed at how capable the manor’s employees were. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Anton announced that the second film, Avatar: The Way of Water, would be shown the night after tomorrow. Once he announced it, he could hear the girls start talking about shopping for the appropriate clothes they would need to wear.
Anna then asked for the trailer of the second film so they could choose clothes appropriate for the movie. Anton rolled his eyes, but showed them the trailer. After that, the discussion about where they could shop for the best clothes continued. Anton was surprised that even Romina, Sara, Ms. Noria, Ronia, and some of the other women were discussing the same thing.
