My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 692
Chapter 692
The next day started early, just like yesterday. Thankfully, Anton did not have to join the girls in shopping for their “water-themed” gowns for the movie that would be shown the next night, at least for the whole day. Everyone would be busy, though, particularly Romina, since she was going to handle the movie showing of the first film in the Avatar franchise for the people who requested to see the movie and were too important to be ignored.
Thankfully, Anton was not going to be the one minding that problem because if he were, he would just ignore them regardless of how it would ruin the reputation of the family name. Even Anders was extremely relieved that he was not the one handling that issue, and that Romina and her people were extremely competent in doing so.
Anton was still requested to join the girls going to the location where they could purchase their gowns, at least for the first hour. After that, Anna promised him that he could leave.
The moment he was free, Anton returned to the manor immediately. He first checked on Kirk, Mesono, Abdul, and Omar and was a little impressed that, despite all the commotion, they continued with their magical studies under their tutor's guidance. They did join in watching the film, but they simply wore their mage robes, and did not join the “wearing the appropriate clothing” spectacle. Even Anders was not spared in ensuring that the clothes he wore were appropriate for the movie premiere.
Thankfully, Raymond had already prepared the clothes that Anders and Anton were supposed to wear the next day. The butler told Anton that Romina sent a message that the cinema where the first Avatar film would be shown that night would be full. That meant that the movie premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water would need to be shown in two cinemas. Anton just shrugged and said that it would be fine.
During lunch, the only people in the dining room were Anton, Anders, and Alfred. All other members of the family were with Anna, shopping for clothes.
“Are you going to let Romina show the Avatar franchise in the cinema after these events?” Anders asked his son.
“Yes, but I’ll let her decide when it will be shown to the public. I’m guessing that she planned to capitalize on the interest of the people who would not see the film, so the moment it was released, the family would earn a lot of coins.”
“Romina did share the magazine idea that you’ve shown her.”
“Yes. More than likely, she would use the films to generate interest for the fashion magazine.”
“I did tell her to train another person to handle that magazine idea, since it could be more than she could handle, but she just ignores what I’ve said.”
After lunch, Anton accompanied his father, since soon, he would need to isolate himself to focus on his Diablo System. Surprisingly, the girls' shopping spree ended early, and they were back at the manor at around three in the afternoon. They were still high on the excitement that was brought by their shopping, though, so when they gathered in one of the manor’s salons, Anton’s ears felt numb at how voluble everyone was. Anders excused himself, saying that he needed to check on his men, but he knew that their father just wanted to escape the noise.
The girls kept talking about how beautiful the gowns they chose were, but Anton was just happy that Anna was happy. It took a long time for the family to get over the tragedy that happened during their escape from the Undead Coalition.
Anton then shared with the girls the fashion magazine idea that Romina would be heading. When they asked for more details, he let them see the videos that he had shown Romina about fashion and celebrity rumor magazines.
After the girls had seen the videos and learned the concept of fashion magazines, their excitement doubled, which Anton thought was not possible.
“Anton, can you talk to Romina about training me to become part of the magazine?” Luna asked.
Anton thought that it was a good idea that Luna was interested. After a few years of training, she could be the one handling that business. Based on the girl’s expression, she could have found what she wanted to do, instead of remaining an idle noblewoman. It was perfectly fine for Anton and Anders for Luna and Alfred to remain idle if they wanted to, but it was still better if they found their passion and goals.
“I’ll talk to her about it,” Anton promised Luna.
For a moment, Anton saw that Anna was a little envious, but then again, her passion for magic superseded her brief interest in fashion, and after a few more moments, Anton could see Anna letting it go.
The girls were all tickled to the bone, though when they thought that they could see their pictures with their gowns inside a fashion magazine, and were a little let down that the fashion magazine had not started yet.
Soon, Ronia arrived with news that there was a huge crowd in front of the cinema, and those who were invited to watch the first Avatar film that night arrived one by one, and all of the women were wearing gorgeous gowns.
The girls sniffed and declared that those people were just copycats and that they were the originals, but when one of them suggested going to the cinema to check out the clothes everyone was wearing, they rushed to one of the manor’s carriages and headed to the cinema.
They planned to remain outside to watch the people who were invited parading their clothes and accessories. Anton did not accompany them since he was not interested, but made sure that the girls were well protected by the guards.
Once the girls left, he looked for his father and found him in his office, together with some of his men. When Anton entered, his father dismissed his men immediately. He shared with Anders the information that Luna was interested in the fashion magazine business, and Anders looked relieved that the girl had found something she wanted to do.
Anders then asked Anton about Avatar: The Way of Water, and he admitted that he had not seen the film as well, which surprised Anders. Apparently, Anders thought that the movies that he kept sharing with everyone had already been seen by him.
“I don’t have the time to watch movies all the time, Father!” Anton said.
He then finally admitted to Anders how his “meditation” worked. Like how he could enter the world of Diablo to level up his characters, like portable dungeons that he could carry around with him.
Anton told his father the details on how his “Unique bloodline” magic worked. The concept truly flabbergasted Anders, especially the part where he could enter the world and do some work, like creating enchanted items, and that there were people inside his “portable dungeons,” which were the NPCs.
Anders understood a little since he had seen the gameplay videos, but was still hugely surprised that Anton could personally enter the world of the game to level up his characters. Anton admitted that his “Unique Bloodline Magic” started ever since he lost his memory back in Rendindura.
“Is there a way for me to enter your game world?” Anders asked.
“For now, there’s none, but my unique magic kept changing all the time, so I will not close off the possibility that it’s possible in the future,” Anton replied.
