My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 706
Chapter 706
The pixies and their miniature town were so beautiful and magical that Anton secretly activated his globe of browser sharing to record the tiny creatures and their homes, so he could share them with his family.
The pixies’ wings looked like delicate dragonfly wings that shimmered with different colored lights. Their flight movements cause shimmers that truly looked like pixie dust, and for a moment, Anton wondered if he would float if he thought about happy things, if he was sprinkled by their dust.
Of course, he knew that the pixies did not really produce dust. It looked like magical dust, but more than likely, it was just a visual illusion caused by the shimmers of their wings.
“Halt! Who are you and what are you doing entering the territory of our kingdom?!” One of the pixie men said.
Anton was a little surprised by the voice that came from the pixie man who was threatening him with his tiny spear. The voice was clearly an adult man's voice, but it was as if someone had recorded the voice and was now using a very small speaker to play the sound.
He was not underestimating the capabilities of the pixies, even though they were tiny. Their weapons could be poisonous, and they could be expert wielders of magic. No one could survive in the middle of this forest without the ability to defend themselves.
“My name is Anton, and I’m a mage traveling to the northern kingdom of Enundia. Instead of using the roads, I decided to go through the northern forest. I wanted to see the inside of the fabled forest and encounter different things. I did not intend to go to your kingdom. I just stumbled into it much like how I stumbled into the territory of the Earth Elementals,” Anton replied calmly.
“You must be a powerful mage if you’re unafraid of traversing the forest with just a couple of summoned wolves. We don’t feel any ill intention from you, but we still don’t welcome you here. We request that you move along as soon as possible,” The pixie man said.
Anton was surprised that the pixies knew that his wolves were summoned creatures. That told him that the pixies were capable. He would have liked to stay and observe their tiny kingdom, but unlike the Earth Elementals that he called the Groots, who did not care about his presence, the pixies wanted him gone.
He did not make it difficult for everyone and just continued with his journey. Anton still moved slowly since he still wanted to observe the pixies’ kingdom. While walking around their tiny homes, he was surprised at how huge their territory was. When he first stumbled into their kingdom, he that it would be small, but while walking past it, he realized how big it was. Anton could see that several pixies were surreptitiously following him. They were probably the guards assigned to make sure that he was not planning anything nefarious.
Soon, Anton was well past the territory of the pixies, but he could still hear some giggles following him. He caught a glimpse of his followers and saw that they were pixie children. More than likely, they were just curious about him.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Once in a while, Anton would stop to observe a unique plant, flower, or animal. He never touched them because, first, he did not even know what they were, and was not curious enough to destroy them by picking them. The animals that he observed were the tiny, cute ones that were probably the herbivores or omnivores of the forest, and for some reason, they did not avoid him. He was sure that it was because of the presence of the children pixies following him.
What Anton did not know was that the animals and creatures were not so hostile to him because he still did not have any smell of blood in him, and he did not even have the smell of destroyed flora or fauna since he did not even pick fruits, berries, or flowers. He always ate the food from his inventory. He did it that way, not because he was respecting the forest, but because he just did not want to become poisoned since he did not recognize most of the plants that he saw along the way.
Anton knew that with his physical stats and his healing skills, he could ignore any poison that he ingested, but he just did not want to bother. He did not know that because of that decision, most tiny herbivores would not be skittish around him.
Some of the small animals were really cute, like the tiny sugar gliders or the small forest cats. Anton was surprised that there were not too many carnivore hunters nearby, and he thought that more than likely, it was because he was still near the territory of the pixies.
When he saw that the sun was setting, Anton looked for a wide clearing and retrieved his tiny house from his inventory. He then commanded the two Spirit Wolves to guard outside his house. Soon, the inside of his tiny house was warm.
Anton heard the giggles of the children pixies outside his house, so he opened his window to check them out.
“Human boy! Can we see inside your house?” One of the pixies said.
There were three of them, two looked like boys, and one was a girl.
“Are you allowed to be so far from your home?” Anton asked.
“We’re not far from home! Our kingdom is just that way,” one of the boy pixies said.
Anton just shrugged and invited the three children pixies inside his tiny house.
“Aren’t you afraid that I’m going to do something bad to you, kids?” Anton asked.
“As I’ve said, our kingdom is still near, and you don’t want any of us angry with you,” One of the pixies said confidently.
The three pixies were really cute and small. They were only around three inches, probably because they were just kids. They flew around his tiny house inspecting everything, from his bed, his tiny table, his toilet, his magic lamp, and his Fire Wall stove. They even inspected the hinges of his door and window.
Anton was sitting on his bed preparing for his dinner.
“Do you want to eat with me?” Anton asked the pixie kids.
The pixie kids giggled and nodded their heads. Anton did not know the diet of the pixies. He did not know if they were carnivores or vegetarians, so considering their preferences, he chose one of the very few vegetarian dishes in his inventory.
The pixies' kids gladly joined him when they saw the dishes that he prepared. While they were eating, he asked them if they ate meat, and they said that they only ate fruits, berries, and plants. Luckily, Anton chose vegetarian dishes; otherwise, he could have offended the pixie kids.
After dinner, the pixie children, who still looked like they were full of energy, asked him what he planned to do next.
“I’m going to watch a movie. Do you want to watch it with me?” Anton asked.
“What’s a movie?” One of the pixies asked.
“It’s a magical moving picture that tells a story. By the way, my name is Anton. What are your names?”
“My name is Lux, this Nixie, and this Axio,” One of the boy pixies said.
“I want to watch your magical moving picture!” the girl pixie named Nixie said.
Anton thought of which movie he would watch with the fairies and decided on FernGully: The Last Rainforest. When he was reading reviews about Avatar, somebody mentioned that the movie was a glorified FernGully story.
