My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 709
Chapter 709
The forest was full of mystery and magic, and Anton was still full of interest and would be able to continue traveling deep inside it for a long time. When the sun had set, instead of setting up a camp, he looked for a place where he could set up a portal. He had decided to return to the Rose Manor to make sure that his family knew he was safe.
When he found a good place to set up the portal, Anton used a town portal scroll, and soon, he was back at his room at the Rose Manor. He immediately cast his Blizzard spell converted into Mana Rain as a way to inform the people at the manor that he was back. Soon, he heard a knock on his door. When he said enter, Raymond the butler arrived, but with him came his father, Anna, Luna, and Alfred.
Anna hugged Anton while Anders tapped his son’s shoulders.
“I’m glad you’re back, son!” Anders said.
“I was a little worried when you’ve been gone for several days already,” Anna added.
Alfred and Luna both hugged him, then Alfred requested the next episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. They were in the last season. Anton immediately gave them the next ten episodes, and soon the siblings left Anton with his father and sister. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
It was still an hour before dinner, so they remained in Anton’s room to talk about some of his experiences while traveling to the northern kingdom of Enundia.
Anton noticed that there was some snow sprinkled in the manor grounds.
“I had decided to travel to Enundia through the northern forest,” Anton told his father and his sister.
“Is it dangerous?” Anna asked.
“You know what, at first I thought it would be, but after several days of walking inside the forest, I found magical communities living there, and based on what I’ve seen, any community capable of living inside such a huge ecosystem would be powerful enough to make sure that the nearby surroundings were a little safe. That meant that between those two magical communities that I’ve encountered, I haven’t found any truly dangerous thing. The only danger that I’ve encountered was a couple of Owl Bears and some Lightning Leopards that were easily dispatched by a few of my Spirit Wolves. Of course, there were some small monsters along the way, like goblins and forest slimes, but those could be ignored.”
“What kind of magical communities have you met?” Anders asked.
“First, there were these cute Earth Elementals I call Groots, and the second magical community was pixies and their magical kingdom. I’ll show you the videos after dinner. I recorded videos of them,” Anton answered.
Soon, a maid informed them that dinner was ready, so the three went to the dining room. The whole family was there, and they welcomed Anton back. He reiterated that he was still in the middle of his journey to the kingdom of Enundia.

“It doesn’t feel like you’re on a journey. You’re always here,” Alfred said with his mouth full.
The boy’s comment made the family laugh.
At first, Anton would have boasted that it was because of the magic that allowed him to instantly return home, but on second thought, he thought that maybe not emphasizing his portal ability would allow the family to treat it as some sort of common magic and would allow them to just ignore it. Anton was still not prepared to share this ability with others because it seemed like it was not common magic.
Instead of asking the family to keep it secret, treating it as some sort of common, unimportant magic would be better. Thankfully, the family was focused on something else, like the family businesses. Alfred’s current world, like most young boys, was focused on television shows.
After dinner, Anton, Anders, and Anna went to Anders’s office so he could show them the videos that he took of the Earth Elementals and the Pixie kingdoms, and some of the unique sceneries inside the forest.
He saw that his father and sister were fascinated by the lives of the Earth Elementals.
“Why are you calling them Groots?” Anna asked.
“One of the movies had a character named Groot, and he looked like those Earth Elementals,” Anton answered.
He interrupted the video so he could show them the trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy. They saw the character that resembled the Earth Elementals, and Anna squealed that Groot was so cute. She clamored to watch the film, and Anton promised they would once he returned from his journey in three or four days. To Anton’s huge surprise, Anna actually threw a tantrum. Because of that, Anders commanded Anton to show them the movie, so after some preparation, the whole family went to one of the rooms that was converted into the home cinema, and they watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Before the movies started, Anders actually explained that the reason they were going to watch the film was that one of the characters looked like one of the magical beings that Anton encountered inside the forest.
Everyone was fascinated by the main character's adventures in space and the different beings that the universe had. They actually ignored Anton’s warning that the movie was non-fiction, meaning that everything was made up. They probably thought that such robust settings meant that even though the characters were made up, the species of the characters was not. Anton could understand, since in their world alone, the number of different species and races was unimaginable. According to Anna, in one of her lessons, she learned that there was a large possibility that there were races that were still undiscovered.
The movie was a good one. They all laughed almost nonstop, and all of the characters were full of charisma and charm. After the movie ended, Anton admitted to Anna that there were three movies in the franchise, and to prevent his sister from throwing a tantrum, he gave the second and third films to her. He reminded her to copy the movies to a magical item recorder as soon as possible.
Anton wondered when Anna learned how to throw a tantrum, but he was a little glad that Anna was now starting to behave like a normal girl. More than likely, just like him, his father and his sister were in the process of healing.
Soon, Anton said goodbye, and he returned to his campsite inside the Northern Forest. He retrieved his tiny house from his inventory and, after it was set up, summoned a couple of Spirit Wolves as his guard, and finally rested.
He woke up early the next day and, after cleaning up his campsite, continued his journey to the kingdom of Enundia through the Northern Forest. The first thing he did before moving forward was to summon his globe of browser sharing. Vlogging was fun, and it was easy to share his experience with the family through video recording. He did not even care that his experience was available for anyone to see on Earth since it was uploaded to one of the most famous streaming sites. Besides, his videos had few viewers since the majority of those who had seen his videos were complaining that his videos were full of CGI. They were impressed, though, by his commitment to spending a huge amount of money on special effects. Anton just laughed off the comments.
