My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 712
Chapter 712
Anton was extremely impressed by the large appetite of the brownie family. It was like watching mukbang videos four ways, one for each family member. Each one of them had unique ways of eating, so Anton was highly entertained, and his appetite was also whetted; and because of that, he also consumed a large amount of food. Thankfully, because of his diligence in collecting food, Anton had an extremely large collection of food in his inventory that the brownie family appreciated.
They not only ate stew, but also everything that Anton offered them. The Brownie family was well aware of how much food they consumed, so Terun kept offering to pay for their share. Anton kept on declining and told Terun that he was well-off since he earned a lot of coins delving into high-level dungeons.
Terun and his family were surprised that even though Anton looked young, he was already capable of delving into a high-level dungeon. Anton admitted that he was a very powerful mage, and that was also the reason why he was not afraid to go through the Northern Forest traveling to Enundia.
“You still need to be very careful. Once you are truly deep into the forest, you might find some monsters there that are truly dangerous,” Glenda, Terun’s wife, warned.
“I understand that, but as I’ve said, I’m really very powerful, and most of my spells are geared toward combat. I also had several escape spells, so if something bad happened, I’m quite sure that I can escape without any problem,” Anton assured them.
Their dinner that night was an abnormally long affair, and Anton did not mind. While they were eating, the Brownie family shared their day-to-day living situation with Anton. Basically, the Brownies lived like mundane humans inside their villages and their farms deep within the forest. They tended their farms, took care of their animals, and continued living peacefully if they could. The main difference was, they were also expert magic users and were powerful enough to defend themselves from any danger that the forest threw at them.
Anton asked them why he had not seen any of their species in any of the cities that he had visited.
“It’s because we tend to prefer to live close to nature, like inside forests. We don’t like living with other species simply because they tend to destroy the nature near them. The brownies are close to nature, and our magic is tied deeply to earth and plant magic. We tend to weaken greatly if we’re apart from nature for a long time,” Terun said.
After dinner, Anton showed the brownie family the small toilet and how to operate it. Thankfully, they were experts in cleaning spells, so even if they used the toilet, it would be cleaned immediately. Soon, the two brownie kids were nodding off, so Anton told them that they could rest. Apparently, Terun and his family were exhausted due to their adventure in traveling from where they used to stay to their new village, and soon, the tiny family was asleep.
Anton did not want to disturb them, so he also lay down on his bed, but since he was not ready to sleep yet, he started leveling up his Diablo characters, which lasted for a while.

The next day, Anton was woken up by the sounds Terun's kids had made. It appeared that they were hungry, and their mother started preparing food.
Anton allowed them to use the magic stove, and soon, the small house was filled with the smell of food that Glenda cooked. Anton was a little embarrassed to use the toilet while the family was just on the other side of its thin walls, so he made it quick, and thankfully, his Cleaning spell allowed him to use the toilet quickly without any issue.
“Sir, young mage, we have a problem. A strong blizzard arrived last night, so now your house is buried in snow. The blizzard is still ongoing, so we have to stay here. Thankfully, our magic space is full of food, and you have a toilet in your house, so we can stay here for a few days without any issues,” Terun said, but his wife and children looked forlorn.
Anton could understand because it would be extremely boring to stay in a small, cramped space for days. He knew that he could not stay for days.
“How long do you think the blizzard will last? Once it ends, we can leave here. We can use magic to climb out of the snow,” Anton said.
“The blizzard will probably last for five more hours,” Glenda said.
“What about your spirit wolves outside?” Terun asked.
“I’ve already dispelled them,” Anton answered.
Anton could see that after breakfast, Terun’s kids started to become restless, so he asked the brownie family more about their lives. The kids competed with each other on what to share with Anton, like their favorite hiding place in the forest, their favorite wild animals, the type of monsters that usually attack their village, and more. Soon, they got tired of that, so Anton offered to share a movie with them.
“What’s a movie?” Glenda asked.
“It’s like a play with actors, but it uses magic to record the scenes. Sometimes, instead of using actual people, they use drawings. It’s called animation because they use techniques to animate drawings. The movie that I can share came from a different dimension.”
After listening to his explanation, Terun allowed Anton to show a movie to them. He chose an animated film simply because of the kids. Since there was a blizzard outside, Anton chose a film that had a summer theme, so he chose the Disney film Lilo and Stitch. He used one of the walls of his house as the television screen, and soon, they were all watching the movie.
For the next couple of hours, laughter from everyone filled Anton’s tiny house, and they were all entertained by the film. Terun’s kids kept muttering that they wanted their own Stitch, which made Anton smile since he also wanted one. For some reason, Anton found that the concept of space and modern cities was more easily accepted by the people of this world if it was from an animated film. Once the movie ended, everyone clapped their appreciation, even Anton.
“That was a very magical way of telling stories!” Terun exclaimed.
“I know. Our family is actually earning a lot of coins from the citizens of Ormunda because of the movies that I took from the dimension where they came from. We established three cinemas that showed a movie and television shows every month, and we sold tickets so that Ormundans can watch the movies,” Anton said.
“I understand the allure of these movies. Your family must be rich by now!” Terun said, and Anton simply nodded.
After that, they talked about the film they just saw, and soon, the blizzard stopped. Anton and the Brownie family decided to brave the outside to continue their journey. Anton used the Incinerate spell to melt the snow that covered the door of the house, and once they dug themselves from the snow, Anton stored his tiny house in his inventory.
The snow on the ground was thick, but the small brownie family was able to walk on top of the snow without sinking. Anton decided to use his Telekinesis spell to simply fly to avoid sinking as well, and when Terun and his family saw him floating, Terun just shook his head while his kids gasped in awe.
