My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 754
Chapter 754
The next day, Anton was surprised to see Remonulus together with Enoril. Even the young elf merchant was a little flabbergasted to see an Invincible Rank Wizard visiting Anton so early in the day.
Anton invited both elves inside and offered them tea, which they accepted. He served them tea from his inventory. Of course, he pretended that he took them from the kitchen, for polite appearances’ sake.
“I have already copied all your movies to our magic recording artifact. You can now freely use your marbles. The main reason I’m here is that one of my great-grandsons kept extolling the show for children that you’ve been showing the young elves. He said that even though the design of that “cartoon” show was colorful to attract the eyes of children, the theme of the story was great enough that even adults would enjoy watching it. I got curious, so I wanted to check it out. Can you provide a few episodes of the show?” the old elf wizard asked Anton.
Anton was a little astonished at the old Invincible Rank wizard elf. When the old elf said that Remonulus had completed copying all the Star Wars films, it meant that the elf watched the movie nonstop ever since Anton gave the remaining films in the franchise to the old elf, since he needed to watch them to record them in his magic item recorder.
When Remonulus mentioned that the old elf liked the movies, Anton realized that the old wizard really liked the movies. He believed that Remonulus was on the verge of becoming a cinephile. He believed that those who truly fell in love with the films would probably travel to Ormunda to watch movies in the cinema there once Anton left.
“Are you planning to include Avatar: The Last Airbender in our deal, sir?” Anton asked.
“I need to check them out first. How many films, I meant episodes, are there in the cartoon?”
“Avatar: The Last Airbender is part of what the people from the dimension where the movies came from, as television shows. A television show episode is usually 20 minutes to an hour long. Several episodes are then compiled into what they call a season. The average number of episodes forming a season usually ranged from six episodes to tens of them.”
Anton paused to drink some tea and continued.
“Avatar: The Last Airbender had three seasons. The first season is called Book 1: Water, and it has 20 episodes. The second season is called Book 2: Earth, and it also has 20 episodes. The final season is called Book 3: Fire, and it has 21 episodes, so all in all, the cartoon has 61 episodes. I know you have not decided yet if you’ll get the cartoon as part of our trade, but here’s 10 episode. Check them out, and you can decide after watching them,” Anton told Remonulus and handed 10 mini globes of browser sharing containing the first 10 episodes of season 1 of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The old elf thanked Anton and left. He noticed Enoril looking glum.

“What’s making you down?” Anton asked the elf.
“Once they include the cartoon in the trade, and I'm sure they will, since Avatar: The Last Airbender was a great show, we will not be able to watch them anymore,” Enoril said.
“Don’t worry. If Remonulus decides to include it in the trade, I will add a stipulation that I can still show them to you guys,” Anton promised the elf merchant.
After that conversation, Enoril invited Anton for breakfast, but he declined. He told the elf that he would be busy with his magic for the whole day, and would join him for dinner later, and show them the next two or three episodes of the Airbender show. Enoril nodded and left. Once the elf left, Anton posted a sign on his door stating that he was busy practicing magic and would only be available at six in the evening. Then he went and started reading the Basic Array book.
One of the advantages of earning an incredibly large amount of stats from his system was that they brought effects that were not related to spell power. The Energy, for some reason, increased his brain processing power. It allowed him to study and learn them at an astonishingly fast pace. He completed reading the book in an hour. After a few more readings, Anton was sure that he would be able to memorize it.
The Basic Array book taught him about forming arrays and attaching compatible spells to an array. Arrays were basically a structured form of runes. The hard part about studying the book was learning runes and their meanings. After that, Anton would need to learn how to arrange them to form an array. It was basically learning a second language. The array’s composition was different, though. A language was usually written from left to right or right to left and even from top to bottom, but the runes in an array would be arranged in a complex way. A basic array containing two runes could be arranged anyway, but once there are three of them, they are usually arranged in a triangle. Upon reading some more, he learned that even the arrangement was not truly that important, and the runes could be arranged anyway the enchanter wanted to arrange them. The reason why the arrangement of the runes was advised to form a complex pattern was to maximize the power of the runes. Basically, a complex pattern would allow the runes to affect the other runes much more easily.
It was easier for Anton to learn the runes and the array structure because it was almost similar to the spell structure of spells, and he had been studying it ever since he first created his wand of Ice Bolt.
He paused briefly during lunch to eat and to attend to physical needs and returned to studying the Basic Array book. At first, he planned to study the book in the morning, then in the afternoon, he planned to continue leveling up his new Diablo II Warlock character.
The Arrays would help Anton greatly in creating enchanted items, but upon reflection, he decided not to include the runes stated in the Basic Array book in any of the items that he would make in the future. The best thing about his enchanted items was that no local wizard had been able to copy them due to the fact that their structure came from the spell structure of the spells that came from his Diablo System, which was an alien magic system for the wizards in this world. If he assimilated the local runes, there was a chance that local enchanters could finally hack the magic of his system, and Anton did not want that to happen.
Anton thought that he would just probably use Arrays just for creating locales stuck in a specific season, just like the forest elves’ gardens. Still, the book inspired him on how to create better enchanted items.
When Anton checked the time, he was surprised that it was already five in the afternoon. Instead of leveling up his Diablo characters before joining Enoril and the others for dinner, he decided to relax a little by watching the sitcom that he was currently watching.
At around six in the evening, Enoril and some of the young forest elves knocked on his door. They were excited to see the next episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
