My Perfect Revenge: Flash Marriage With My Vampire Tycoon-Chapter 138: – It Couldn’t Be –
Antonio marched into the warehouse where Fernando sat, staring at Viviana who was still left unconscious.
"What is it?"
"They have arrived, sir? They have been spotted near the turn."
"Ah. And? Did he come with reinforcements?"
Antonio shook his head. "No, sir. So far, he’s alone."
"Good, good. Good for. him to not have underestimated what I could do just because I’m not a monster like him." Fernando rose to his feet. "Shall we go and welcome them?"
Antonio stared at him.
Fernando smiled. "I’ll set her up with the others. You go ahead and bring them in."
"Yes, sir!" Antonio bowed deeply, before he rose again and left.
Fernando had his back facing Viviana. He said, "You can all come out now."
Three men came out, each of them giving off an aura that stated they were anything but humans.
"He’s here."
The three men glanced at each other. One of them said, "This is a bit dangerous."
"Dangerous?" Fernando cocked a brow.
"Yes. You’re a human and you don’t get it. This Nikolas of the Bastiani family we’re speaking of."
"Bastiani?" Fernando frowned. "What Bastiani are you speaking of?"
"You wouldn’t know. Only people like us have the family name engraved in her soul. My hands are growing sweaty from the thought of doing this. He’s stronger than the average vampire, so I doubt there is anyone who could go toe to toe with him. His twin brother is another problem, who’s almost if not strong as him."
"Then..."
The three swallowed this time around.
Fernando sensed their fear and scowled. "What is going on with you three?"
"Shut up." one of them snapped at him. "Do you even know who his mother is? Compared to their mother, those twins are weak. Who doesn’t know their mother? If she wanted to wipe out an entire city, she’d be able to do it, and no one, I mean nobody would be able to stop her. Not even with the intelligence you humans have. That is how terrifying she is. You think the twins are afraid of no one? They’re not. But their mother..."
Fernando felt a cold chill settle inside of him. His hands balled into a tight fist.
"Get her," he ordered.
The three men eyed him. One of them reminded me, "We’re working for you just for today and today alone. And only because of the money. Be careful how you order us around, alright?" He held a smile.
And Fernando held his gaze. "Of course. But I paid you, no? Which means today you are nothing more than my worker and I will order every single one of you around as I please. If you care so much about your egos and pride, you wouldn’t have accepted money from a mere human like me. Isn’t that so?’
The three felt so much rage, they almost spurted out the blood that was boiling off them.
While his words were provoking, he wasn’t wrong. And so, they swallowed down their anger, moving ahead to do their supposed task.
The one who’d shot Sabrina, grabbed Viviana and threw her over his shoulder. They walked out of the shed, into the open ground where not many trees were surrounding them.
But just like back then, they were deserted here, and therefore no matter what they do, there’d be nobody to spectate as even the range of 3000 miles, no one lived.
Setting her to her feet, the man tapped her cheek, wanting to wake her up, but she wouldn’t.
"Get the water," Fernando ordered.
One of the three left and returned with a cup of water, which was splashed harshly on Viviana’s face. As expected, she breathed awake, almost bucking to the floor if not for the man grabbing and holding her up. She breathed heavily, coughing painfully.
Viviana forced herself to glance around her, a few strands of her wet hair latched onto her face. They were outside now into the open sunlight that was beginning to rise. Two men were on her right, while one other and Fernando were on her left.
"Let...let go of me." she found herself devoid of strength, barely able to summon enough to speak.
Fernando chuckled. "Let go of you? No sweetie, I have a surprise for you. You won’t have to wait long at all. Just keep watching."
Time ticked by, slowly, instigating anxiousness inside of Viviana. What was going on? Her eyes flickered. Somehow, deep down, she felt like she knew where this was going.
’It couldn’t be...’ 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
At this moment, she was praying with whole heart, asking and hoping that the heavens would stop him from coming for her. She’d watched her best friend die before her, and she didn’t want to also witness the man she loved breath his last before her eyes.
’Please. Just this one time. Heaven please, let me to die alone’
But the sudden sounds of footsteps told her otherwise. The heavens were not in any way on her side.
She slowly lifted her head, and her entire body froze up. Even though she knew she would see him, her entire body had still ended up locking up where she stood at the sight of him.
Nikolas wasn’t alone. His brother was right next to him, and both of them were handcuffed to their backs with Olivia following cautiously behind them.
His gaze fell on Viviana, and his body shook rapidly, he attempted to break off the handcuffs. The tip of a gun was rather pressed to his back, Olivia leaning in to warn, "Don’t even think about it, Mr. Nikolas. That is if you don’t wish to be the reason your lover breathes her last. My boss isn’t a very generous man."
Nikolas was silent. They walked closer, but were suddenly asked to stop, sixty steps away from Fernando and Viviana.
"We meet again, Nikolas."
"Indeed, we meet again, Fernando Stolov." His eyes shifted to Viviana. What had they done to her? She looked barely able to keep herself up. Her body was bloody like she’d been cut all over and her face was bruised which only made his heart ache.
If he wasn’t being cautious, he’d have broken out of this restraint, and not one person within this place would make it out alive.
"They’re vampires," Lucian muttered.
"Who?"
