Feng Aoxue cheerfully held a child in each arm, one pretty little lady in one hand, and one handsome boy in the other, feeling completely content.

Their warm and joyful scene caused the old man across them to break out in a smile too.

"So, you’re the mother of these two kids?" He asked, beaming at Ye Lu.

Ye Lu proudly smiled, "Yes, hello, sir."

Her eyes were gently fixed upon her two babies, her smile full of happiness.

The old man looked at her joyous face, puzzled,"I was just thinking that the mother who could have raised such lovely children must be exceptional. To think that you’re so young, barely out of your twenties!"

Ye Lu’s smile faltered slightly, "Yes, I’m twenty-three this year."

At times she felt fearful of the stranger’s odd stares, the curiosity or disdain in their eyes. After all, having a child in her teens was not a laudable act.

However, she never wanted to deny her identity as a mother in front of others.

"You truly are a strong mother!" To her surprise, the old man didn’t demonstrate any scorn. Instead, he spoke with a tone full of admiration.

Ye Lu looked at him astonished.

"A young single mother, able to raise two outstanding children, and still maintain a positive attitude, is quite a rarity. It shows your courage and spirit."

"How did you know I’m a single mom?"

"The young girl told me that she doesn’t have a father."

Ye Lu could not help but clench her teeth. Ye Yi had such a big mouth- why would she discuss this with a stranger?

The old man chuckled, "She even asked me to introduce her to a good man to be her mother’s boyfriend."

Feeling extremely awkward, Ye Lu gave Ye Yi a stern look and waved her hand dismissively, "Sir, children do silly things, I hope you don’t mind."

"Hehe, I think what she said makes sense. You’re still young and taking care of two children alone must be stressful. Their lack of a father figure is an absence of fatherly love. This incomplete family could have an effect on their growth. You should consider this not just for yourself, but also for your children." The old man sighed. He liked these children a lot and hoped they could have a better family and upbringing.

Feeling even more awkward, Ye Lu responded, "I’ll consider it. It’s getting late, and I must take my kids home."

Feng Aoxue drove the car up, and Ye Lu got in with her children.

Once in the car, she started berating them,"Ye Yi, what happened? Why would you tell a stranger all this?" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

She was actually trying to play matchmaker for her own mother! It was infuriating.

Ye Yi giggled, "Mommy, don’t be angry. Grandpa Shang is not a bad person. He often comes to our choir to accompany us with his piano. He is very kind. That’s why I told him. If it were anyone else, I wouldn’t have."

"You still should not have disclosed our family matters." Ye Lu turned to Ye Yuan who was seriously reading an English book on the other side, "Ye Yuan, you’re the elder brother. You should have stopped your sister."

"You should know her character by now," Ye Yuan nonchalantly flipped through the pages of his book, "Also, I don’t think it’s a problem. Mommy, you need to have your second spring. Freshen up a bit."

"Pfft... second spring." Feng Aoxue burst out laughing,"Your kids are so mature! They know everything and even try to matchmake you. You shouldn’t waste their efforts."

After dropping the kids off at home, Feng Aoxue drove her to the hospital.
